The bed provided excellent support, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of travel. Despite being near the station, the room was quiet and peaceful. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were consistently polite, efficient, and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of Japanese and Western options, perfect for starting the day on a satisfying note. Overall, VIA INN SHIMONOSEKI offers exceptional value, comfort, and convenience. Apparently, in addition to the already paid amount by card, a foreigner's accommodation tax of approximately 1000 yen must be paid on the spot before check-in. Next, I had to enter the information of each guest (passport scan), and then use the counter's video customer service screen to obtain the room number and password before successful check-in (those who don't understand Japanese must communicate entirely in English).
