"It was the best place to visit Kokura Castle.
It was cheap and the meal was good
Good value for money !!!
Recommended for those who come to see Kokura Castle"
"I was very disappointed with the hygiene standards at this hotel. Upon arrival, I found the toilet in an unacceptable state, with waste and toilet paper left unflushed. Additionally, the blanket in my room had noticeable stains. Although the staff offered to move me to another room, the initial experience left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, I will not be returning."
"Hotel was located right next to the airport with free shuttles only taking a few minutes. Good sunsets from the airport island. The hotel even offered a free dinner! Simple curry and rice but a nice surprise. I don't think you can find a better deal which includes full board. Not much around the area but this just gets you close to the airport for early departures. Very good smaller airport. I enjoyed flying out from here much more than Fukuoka. Fukuoka airport has a lot of construction going on. Getting to the airport via public transportation does require a metro ticket and a bus transfer."

"The location is near JR Kokura Station. There are not many shops around. The twin room is quite large and has a bathtub. The buffet breakfast is good. The bustling area of Kokura Station is to the south."
"If you are staying in a dormitory and traveling alone, the prices, services and facilities are great. All the staff were friendly and comfortable. Well equipped shower. The dormitory is on the first basement floor, so rental wifi, roaming is not available. Wi-Fi itself is slow in the basement. Please take care when using the umbrella when it rains. It was raining in the morning, so I bought it urgently at a convenience store. You can walk to Kokura Station in about 10 minutes or get off at Monorail Tanga Station. The bus is not recommended."

"Thanks to netizens for their comments and reminders. I will contribute a little bit.
Because I got on the wrong expressway that night, I should have arrived at 10 o'clock on the left... I called him immediately to talk to him.
It turns out that there is no need to go there at all. You can just check in by yourself using the door password and reservation number on the left 😂 It’s so convenient~
Check-out is also done by pressing the room pad 👍🏻👍🏻
The hotel is located across the street and has both GPS and 👌🏻
In addition, there are three parking spaces downstairs in the hotel, and there are many hourly rentals nearby.
Shop D in Mojiko has to close early, but luckily there is a Lawson 5 minutes away🤪"
"The night view was wonderful because it was on a hill. There was a feeling of cleanliness and amenities were substantial, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. Unfortunately, the weather was not good, so I couldn't use the outdoor facilities, but if the weather was nice, I could enjoy beer and meals while watching the night view on the terrace."
"The environment is good and looks like a luxury hotel, but the price is affordable and good. Unfortunately, the room I live in faces the sea, the noise of the night wind is a little loud, the soundproofing effect is not very good."

LLittle Fat Catthe hotel is closing to the JR Station, it is just walking within 7 minutes from the station, it is very convenience for the travelers. Moreover, the front desk stuff is very nice and cheerful, and can response to the customer's queries promptly. The check in and check out process is very smooth and quick. When inside the room, the facilities is fine and clean, have a big working desk and enough light for the traveler when working is required with their computer. The Wi-Fi network is okay. Furthermore, the breakfast is fine and have lot of varieties for the guest to choose. the restaurant staff's service is nice. Also, there are lot of different restaurants which located around the hotel. Highly recommend to come back again in the next time.
AAnonymous UserA conveniently located hotel right next to the JR station. Rooms are clean, plenty of eateries & shopping within the vicinity. The beds are hard which will work for people who prefer harder beds. It’s also a short walk to the Kokura Castle. A great base for people planning to travel to the kitakhyshu region.
GGuest UserStayed on the 27th floor. Every 3-5 minutes, there is a 10-15 seconds of strange noise. reported to the hotel, they blame the lift for the noises. Unfortunately, the very disturbing noise appeared throughout our stay including very late at night.
JJC^-^VCNice customer services, with laundry is plus when travel with a little one with light packaging. The harbour view is unbeatable and close to the ferry terminal (2 minutes walk)to the morning food market.
DDzou ChangI like the hotel because of its location and lots of comics. Within a 4 minute walk from Kokura station, and Kokura castle, riverside walk all within comfortable walking distance, you can take a monorail from JR station also if you don't like walking.
헤헤헤헤헿I stayed alone, and it was right in front of Kokura Station, so the location was really great. As is typical of Japanese hotels, the rooms are small, and the bathroom was especially small. There was no problem when I used it alone, and it was great because it had TV and YouTube. I want to go there again next time I visit Kitakyushu.
GGuest UserLocation is walkable from the JR station, surrounding malls and tourist spots, while not being in the centre of it all, making it a quiet and comfortable stay. There are many buses nearby so taking the bus instead of train was a good option to have. Walking distance can also be reduced sometimes via taking the bus. At the same time, the airport bus is at the JR station, so it was very convenient. The hotel while a little dated, is well maintained with floors segregated by non-smoking and smoking. Luggage deposit before and after is also available and the staff are very helpful with that. The bedside console comes with an alarm clock and even a music player where ambience music can be played - it is a very nice touch to have!!
GGuest UserI stayed here for one night for a short trip to Kitakyushu before going to Hakata Station
Overall, it was a hotel with an old-fashioned feel
The atmosphere was good
The interior of the room was small, but the design had a grandmotherly feel:)
Personally, I liked it and it was cozyㅎㅎ
They also had a lot of walks in the garden
When I went, there was a wedding going on, so it was fun to watch the Japanese guests
By the way, it's far from the station... It was hard to carry my suitcase
However, considering the price of the accommodation, it's not bad! If I go to Kokura, I'll stay here again
NNai chongNice hotel, room is big, good facilities, near train station, many eateries around. One thing I appreciate so much is I store my luggage in the locker and don’t know it have PIN code, cannot pick up. Luckily customer service of the hotel help me up by calling them on the pad at the self check in kiosk
GGuest UserThough location is a little far but the free shuttle bus to and fro Orio station made is super convenient for an onsen retreat. There's a direct bus from Kitakyushu Airport to Orio station too, which makes it even better. Thankfully, the staff kindly took note of the shuttle reservation request made during booking, otherwise, it would have been very inconvenient to contact them and expensive to get to the resort by other means. They left a note to check the official website for pick-up point but there was no specific information - something that can be improved. The location was found to be BEHIND Maxvalue Shop (see first few photos). The resort is visited by mainly locals so it was helpful to see and ask them for confirmation.
Facilities might a bit old but generally clean so it was okay. The room is nice and comfortable, particularly the view. It was very nice to see the hotel using reusable wares with even a refillable jug to get water from a machine at the shared space. Both sides of the natural onsen is switched between male and female everyday. Supper tantan noodles is great! Breakfast is not bad with both fusion western style and traditional Japanese options. It was a very nice and relaxing time!
