"Buddy 35 was by far the best hotel experience I had for my entire week circumnavigating Taiwan. It was the only place I stayed for 2 nights I liked it so much. A welcoming, cosy and warm ambience that I looked forward to returning to after a long day out. About 5 minutes by car from town centre but plenty of restaurants around nonetheless."

"This time, I stayed at Yiqi Yiqi (formerly Daxin Hotel), located near Dongdaemun Night Market. The transportation is very convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants and entertainment options nearby. The first-floor lounge has a snack bar, biscuit stand, and tea buffet, a tradition inherited from Xiaolu Bunkyoku, where you can relax. However, the interior facilities are quite old and need renovation; mold on the walls is clearly visible. The room is very small, similar to a youth hostel, except the rooms have private bathrooms. Given these specifications, the nightly rate is simply not worth it. For the same price, there are many better options. I do not recommend staying at this Bunkyoku."

"The B&B has an elevator, so you don’t have to worry about climbing stairs to carry your luggage. The whole B&B is very beautiful and carefully decorated. It’s easy to take pictures everywhere. There are front and rear balconies in the room. The view is great. You can see many F16s flying around in the morning. Excited 🤣🤣, the bed is very big and comfortable, the softness and firmness are moderate, the sound insulation is very good, the TV is very high definition, but unfortunately the video is not open, the hair dryer is very powerful and easy to use, the air conditioner is super strong, it gets cold quickly, there is no clothes in the bathroom The place is quite inconvenient. I will come here next time I come to Hualien."
