"We are from Wenzhou, Zhejiang, and are traveling with our child to Boston and Cambridge to visit Harvard University, where our child will be attending. After comparing various options on Ctrip, we chose this hotel based on its star rating, location, number of guests, and value for money.
1. The room has windows on two sides, offering bright and airy views, but the windows are closed and cannot be opened, making it feel stuffy.
2. As a couple with a child, we found the sofa bed to be very large (1.5 meters), accommodating 3-4 people in one room, which was good.
3. However, the metal joints of the sofa bed legs were very sharp, causing cuts to our calves. After reporting this, the housekeeping staff came and carefully wrapped the bed legs with tape, but this issue seems to be a common problem. When we requested compensation, housekeeping (or the engineering department) said they would report it to the front desk, as claims were not under their jurisdiction. The front desk manager initially said, ”Personal accident, no compensation,” but after a follow-up phone call, she said they could only provide breakfast for three people for one day and a few bottles of water free of charge.
Review: American hotels don't offer free bottled water, toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste, or kettles (though ice water is available on the first floor). There are also no slippers; you should bring your own.
Overall, the location is downtown, with a subway station nearby. It's clean, spacious, and worth recommending."
