Hotels with Kitchenette in Boracay Island

"We had an amazing stay in this Hotel. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the beachfront. The room was clean, and complete with basic toiletries. The only thing is that the bidet had a bit of leaking and the shower head took a while to run water. Breakfast buffet was good. The staff were nice and approachable. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Suggestions: Water dispenser near the corridor instead of getting water from their restaurant (buffet area)."

"So let's begin with the positives. The staff is excellent, beyond excellent they will go out of everything to make you feel accommodated. They are unbelievably attentive. Another positive aspect is its location which is literally right on the sand. Can't get much closer to the beach than this hotel. And did I mention that the staff was very accommodating? When you want to lounge on the beach, the staff will rush out immediately to position the lounges and put towels down. They truly work hard to assist your every need when you are on the beach. An improvement would be updated lounge chairs with cushions but you are not lounging on the sand unless you want to. So as I said, I want to start off with a positive but there are serious negatives about this hotel in fact to the point at which I would suggest booking a different hotel if at all possible. First on the list of negatives is that the food at the restaurant is less than mediocre. Yes you will get breakfast but in all honesty, you might just want to pass that up. Nothing is kept hot...nothing. Everything is served lukewarm or cold except for the eggs which they do make right away...the fresh cooked eggs is the only exception to luke-warm or in some cases even slightly undercooked food. However, what should be cold is never cold, for example even though the milk has a sign that says cold milk it is always room temperature as well as the juices. The cold milk is warm...always,,,,while the food that should be warm or hot is always cold or virtually well on its way to being cold. It's interesting that even though they have the small gas flame burners at the bottom of containers for food, they are never on. Additionally I would recommend that if you are not accustomed to luke-warm to cold Filipino style food again, you may want stay eat somewhere else because most of the food served is Filipino style and while Filipino food can be quite good, not here. Now for the accommodations. The rooms are at best motel style rooms with the AC blasting down on you constantly. Your only alternative is to turn the AC on and off throughout the night to get a break. The rooms themselves are rustic and extremely noisy because everything faces the courtyard and you have concrete surrounding you so it echoes in any conversation especially at night. Sound just echoes throughout the entire place. There is constant noise so bring your ear plugs. I will say, staff keeps everything very clean so no problems there at all. It's just that the entire facility is not well-designed or well maintained for most travelers' expectations. For example, The hot water in the shower it's turned on similar to a faucet bathtub style but the water literally trickles out (at least in my room). Fortunately you do get some hot water coming through the shower head and while it is barely enough to take a shower, it is not what you would expect at a hotel price. I selected this hotel because it has so many good reviews online and it has a lot of 10s out of10s. One site lists it as 4.9 out of 5, I thought that was great but after a few nights, I am convinced that these reviews are from the owners, owner friends or staff or perhaps all of them. It is completely beyond my imagination that this hotel can get those kinds of reviews especially as there are other hotels that are around to compare with. I have traveled a lot and this is probably not more then a five to six at most out of 10 and the only reason it's that high because of staff. Again....5.5 to 10 is my rating on this motel/hotel."

"Junior suite given to us had only twin bed and a bathroom. There was no dining table and chair as what i imagine of suite have dining table and chair and kitchenette. I was confused whether i paid only a deluxe room cause what the lady in the reception given to us were the twin beds. Although the hotel is walkable to the wet market or D'mall its abit of a walk specially we have a senior citizen. Hotel has a good view for sunrise and near to the port where all the water activities and island hopping is happening. Room and beddings were old. There was a smell inside the toilet.and the bathroom door can not close. This hotel room is expensive. There is no shuttle bus available ."

"This stay completely exceeded my expectations and was the most satisfying hotel experience on my recent trip. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. It's very tourist-friendly, making getting around a breeze. The moment I stepped into the room, I was impressed. It was spacious and bright, with a minimalist and clean design. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were just the right height, allowing me to fall asleep quickly and enjoy excellent sleep quality. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, well-stocked toiletries, and a consistent hot water supply – the attention to detail was spot on. The room had abundant natural light, a great view, and was overall clean, tidy, and odor-free, which made for a very reassuring stay. The front desk service was warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were fast, and the staff were friendly and patient in answering any questions I had, making me feel very welcome. The hotel's public areas were clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet and peaceful, suitable for both relaxation and work. It offers incredible value for money. The facilities, service, and location are all impeccable and well worth the price. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and family. It's a trustworthy and comfortable hotel!"

"The hotel was perfect. Very spacious the location is quite accessible, 2-3min walk to the beach and very near dmall. It is very quiet at night. Its clean and the bed was comfy. The staff are friendly, informative and very accommodating. I will definitely book here again. Highly highly reccommended."

"Terrible food. The 'healthy' breakfast, completely devoid of sugar, salt, and seasoning, was inedible. The staff, however, were friendly and helpful. The rooms are old, in need of renovation and a good clean; there were cobwebs above the bed and on the walls. The hotel is located next to a slum, and you can hear roosters crowing and locals singing karaoke. The price is above average, but the quality is definitely below average."

"Hello! We booked the presidential suite, but had to switch to an upgraded room. The furniture was old, there was no hairdryer, and no amenities whatsoever. On the plus side, the sea view was nice. As for breakfast, nothing interesting, and the same stuff every day. The service, however, was excellent."

"Had an amazing stay with my bestie here at Microtel Boracay! This hotel is located at Station 1, it's far from the crowds of Station 2. Offering a calm and private vibe right in front of the beach. The room was spacious and clean, the food was delicious, staffs are friendly and the guest service was excellent. Plus, they offer a free shuttle to D'Mall, which is super convenient. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful stay!"

"Successful location, near the sea and a lot of cafes, in the room clean, furniture and plumbing are not tired, the shower worked well, good water pressure, air conditioner works well, put at least and slept with it, very comfortable. I can recommend Indian spa that is also near the hotel. Breakfasts on order, ordered ham cheese omlet. From the terrace, a beautiful view to the beach is open. From the downside, the window would not be missing, but we knew about it so we did not count. Separately what I would mention is the hotel staff. We were met and helped carry the suitcase on the 4th floor . When they left also helped to drop the heavy suitcase on the 1st floor. Very polite, ready to come for help on any matter! I called the receptacle, all the questions were resolved in a minute. No deposit at the hotel is taken. I wish this hotel prosperity! I didn't want to leave the wonderful island of Borakai!"
