"Stayed here for my hike from jinshanling to gubeikou. The location itself is great for visiting this section of the great wall. With just a short hike up the street you will reach the ticket office. Alternatively a driver could also be arranged. After arriving the host immediately welcomed me. He also speaks english and was very helpful in planning my hike and sunrise photography. Overall a really nice and welcoming service. The room itself was very modern and comfortable. Nothing really to complain about. A huge plus was also the restaurant next door. Really great food with local ingredients."

"We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters."

The hosts are very friendly and provided us with a complimentary excellent breakfast. The lunches were also delicious and very affordable. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the park entrance, making it convenient for morning and evening photo shoots. We loved everything. If we come back, we'll stay here again."
