Hotels with WiFi in Khiva

"The hotel is located in the old city, which is great for daily strolls, allowing us to easily return for a rest whenever we wanted. They offer triple rooms, and while breakfast is simple, it's filling. The staff's English is excellent, making communication seamless, and the service is good. You can call the front desk to book airport pickup and drop-off. The hotel terrace offers fantastic sunrise views! However! When we arrived, the hotel was undergoing simple renovations, which Trip.com and its agents failed to inform us about! This seriously affected our health! But once we checked in, it was non-cancellable! And at that time, we weren't even sure if we could find another hotel. There were paint cans in the hallway, so our room had a strong renovation smell. I immediately contacted Trip.com customer service, but regrettably received no response, absolutely no response! Not even from a human agent! It wasn't until I checked out that they offered me a so-called 'solution'! I expressed my dissatisfaction to customer service and hoped Trip.com would take international bookings seriously and fulfill its responsibilities! Regarding the hotel service, after I reported the issue, the front desk attendant showed me all the remaining rooms, but unfortunately, they all had the same smell. He then helped us turn on the ventilation fan; in short, he did everything he could to help. We had no choice but to make do for one night. If you plan to stay a month from now, I would still recommend it!"

"Slightly underwhelming experience. 1) Check-in and overall experience with staff: Just OK. No one was at reception upon arrival, but a guy eventually came and he was friendly. A girl at the breakfast area was also quite warm, but other than that, most others don't really interact with guests. 2) Location: It was clear before booking it was slightly off the old city, but there really was nothing within walking distance. No restaurants or shops to get food. One can walk to the old city (~20 mins) but the roads are unpaved and there is no street lighting at night. However, the hotel provides free shuttle service to the West Gate and the train station; very helpful. 3) Breakfast: Small spread but quite tasty. I recommend installing a coffee machine. 4) Amenities: The room was spacious and comfortable, but the water supply was very erratic. The first morning there was no water supply for hours, while the pressure became weak and the toilet couldn't flush on the second morning. Overall, it was quite average, but given the low price, I think it's still OK for budget conscious travellers who don't mind being away from the centre of Khiva."

"We stayed in a premium room for 2 nights. The hotel is mostly well reconstructed, and the staff was helpful. It is only a 5-minute walk to the main entrance of old Itchan Kala. The room was okay; a large bed, enough tables for a short stay, a modern toilet, and a good shower with strong water pressure (our room was on the entrance level). The internet connection was also fine. I believe it is related to the city’s old infrastructure, but there was always a bad smell coming from the drain, especially after taking a shower. We had to open the room door and window to air out the room. The breakfast was the weak point. It was the worst breakfast we had in Uzbekistan. We went at 7:30, and the sliced fruits (banana and apple) were no longer fresh and had already turned black. The boiled eggs were cold. They also tried to serve European-style pastries, but I had the worst croissant I have ever tasted. Uzbekistan actually has very good bakeries and pastries. Instead of trying foreign products, they should focus on their local delicacies, which they can prepare much more successfully and tastefully. There were also not enough vegetables and no greens at all. They only served cucumbers, which is disappointing considering Uzbekistan has excellent vegetables and fresh herbs. During check-in, they offered cold tea/juice and nuts. The tea was tasty and refreshing, but the nuts were stale. They really need to improve the food section significantly. For our last day, since we had to leave early, they offered us a boxed breakfast during check-in and took note of it. However, at check-out, nothing was prepared. The receptionist had no idea about it, and we did not have time to wait."

"Очень удобное расположение отеля - находится в старом городе, но не в самом центре, а на окраине, при этом до центра 3 минуты пешком. Из-за такого расположения в отеле достаточно тихо. Дали номер с балконом на втором этаже, из которого о коыааося прекрасный вид на старый город. Но номер и ванная очень маленькие, постельное бельё свежее и новое. Завтрак скудный и холодный, но достаточно вкусный. Зернового кофе нет. В отеле есть терраса, с которой открывается красивые в виды на город."

"Excellent hotel. Great beautiful hotel complex on the beach of the lake. There are all cafes, aquaparks, shops on the territory. Clean cozy rooms with a balcony exit. There is not enough table and chairs on the balcony. At peak hour there is a water problem. But we got up early and did not experience problems. You can get to any Hiva spot either by taxi 20,000 sums or on a 10,000 sums for two or back. You can walk from the old city in the area of an hour."

"The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel service was excellent, and the front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided great recommendations. The location is right in the Old Town, making it convenient to walk everywhere."

"The best hotel in this area. Reasonable and rich breakfast. Clean and big rooms. Small but warm swimming pool. Friendly personal. It's better to get a taxi to reach the old town (worth seeing) - unexpectedly cheap."

"This family hotel it's basically what I was looking for. Charming family hotel with Clean room and located in the historical old town Price is reasonable with a small breakfast,PERFECT"

"It is about 5 minutes walk from the west gate of Ichankara. It is convenient to the west gate if you are not concerned with staying in Ichankara. It was a hotel full of family-run hospitality. The hotel was clean to change to shoes, and the room was clean and comfortable. At breakfast, my eldest son's boy taught me how to eat delicious food. In addition, this owner also has a travel agency, and I had a taxi to Bukhara via the owner's recommended Ayazukara. I didn't have much time in Ayazukara because I left Hiba after 15:00, but the sunset over the desert seen from Ayazukara was difficult to change. I would like to stay again when I go to Hiba."

"The room was large, but lacked furniture; there was only one chair for such a huge space. The wardrobe only had a hanging rail with a single hanger and no shelves. Breakfasts were varied and tasty. The location is very convenient for both the Old Town and the train station."
