"The hotel's location is very convenient – it's in the old town, not right in the center, but on the outskirts, yet it's a 3-minute walk to the center. Because of this location, the hotel is quite quiet. We were given a room with a balcony on the second floor, which had a wonderful view of the old town. However, the room and bathroom were very small, and the bed linens were fresh and new. The breakfast was meager and cold, but quite tasty. There was no coffee beans. The hotel has a terrace with beautiful views of the city."

"The service level is definitely not 5-star. Check-in is strictly at 2:00 PM. If you arrive early and don't want to wait an extra couple of hours, you have to pay 50% of the room rate, which is basically what they forced you to do. They even skimped on breakfast, saying you have to pay extra for it. The booking was for $178 per night, but we actually paid $190. There was someone else's hair on the bed. No toothbrushes. The outlet near the bed didn't work. Cheap renovations. Very cheap perfumes, definitely not 5-star quality. The shower barely runs, there's no pressure. The breakfast is okay. The alcohol selection is almost nonexistent."

"The hotel is located inside the ancient city, near the West Gate. Taxis can drive directly to the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. And because it's in the central part of the ancient city, it's easy to walk around for food and drinks. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing in the rooms could be a bit better; everything else was great."

"Every hotel in Uzbekistan has its own unique charm. A room might be missing chairs, for example, or have a kettle but no cups or spoons, or all the electrical outlets might be concentrated on one wall, or who knows what else... The Euroasia Hotel is true to tradition; in one of our two rooms, the bedside lamps didn't work, and neither room had a refrigerator. Heaven knows, I can handle broken lamps, no hot water at night, and furniture that's seen better days, but a refrigerator... What do you want most after returning from the hot, dusty streets of old Khiva? A shower and a frosty bottle from the refrigerator. But no. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location in the old city; the rest is optional. Good luck to everyone exploring the beauty and wonders of the East!"

"The Asia Khiva was chosen by our tour company. It is a bit old fashioned without many embellishments. For example, only very small bars of soap to wash hands, small bottles of body wash and shampoo and thin bath towels. Breakfast was adequate but the large tour groups seemed to overwhelm the staff. The hotel does offer a wide range of goods to buy like tee shirts, local clothing and knickknacks as well as massage services which can only be purchased with cash."
