Location is perfect for walking to the old city sites, especially at night when it is all beautifully lit up."

"Conveniently located between the train station and the old town. Opposite is an amusement park and a large shopping center. The design is good, but many things didn't work: the TV and phone in the room. The courtyard is undergoing renovations. There are problems with hot water in the mornings. Apparently, the single boiler isn't big enough for everyone. Good breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly staff."

"Well positioned in front of the Southern door of the Old City and with spacious rooms, overlooking a quite green area, full of plants, birds etc. The swimming pool is enjoyable and towels are available at the bar. Restaurant for meals (quite diverse offer although ‘average’). Quiet and discreet service."

"This hotel is NOT suitable for tourists who expect some comfort. The beds and pillows are very hard so I didn’t sleep. Missing or broken items in the rooms. Poor breakfast. There didn’t seem to be any other tourists staying there. So bad that we moved hotels after one night. Not to be confused with Hotel Asia. It is in a great location right in the old town, staff are helpful and it is inexpensive."

"It is located about 5 minutes walk from Ichankara West Gate. If you don't mind staying in Ichankara, it's conveniently located near the west gate. It was a family-run hotel full of hospitality. The hotel was clean as I had to change into indoor shoes, and the room was clean and comfortable. At breakfast, I had a delicious meal while my eldest son taught me how to eat delicious food. The owner is also a travel agent, and we chartered a taxi to Bukhara via Ayazkara, which was recommended by the owner. We didn't have much time at Ayazkala because we left Khiva after 3pm, but the view of the sunset over the desert from Ayazkala was irresistible. I would like to stay here again when I go to Khiva."
