"Overall very low quality for a Hampton Inn. Nice staff, very old building and sketchy adjacent parking garage, elevator broken, pan handlers galore, too close to annoying homeless, ******** ***, and drunks. I walked to FedEx, then to post office, and back to the Hampton Inn today (3 blocks total) and an older man on a bicycle followed me for five minutes shouting insults and racist slurs because a i refused to give him money as I exited FedEx. There is an abundant police presence in the area but if you leave the main three blocks of Beale, drunks are hassling people for alcohol. Very sad for the well-intentioned and hard-working locals. 👎. The breakfast at Hampton Inn was pretty good except for the gravy. This was a grey soup, not sausage gravy. Biscuits were terrific as was the staff person on duty."

"This may have been our best hotel stay, ever. This hotel is great! Everyone that works there, is wonderful! From checking in, to the valets, everybody was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is so clean, and everything in the room worked. The room had a microwave & mini fridge, most only have a mini fridge. It’s in a perfect location! A short walk to Texas de Brazil, or Fed Ex Forum, or the Red Birds stadium. This will be where we stay, anytime we’re in Memphis. I highly recommend it! I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Just wonderful!"

"The front desk staff was more friendly than I expected. Even though the check-in time wasn't that late, the line wasn't too long, so I was able to check in quickly. I had to leave early, so I checked out around 4 a.m., but thankfully, the staff member checked me out right away."

"The hotel is located right at the train station, and so is perfect if you are catching the AMTRAK. The rooms were pleasant and the staff were friendly. The bar is very trendy though was understaffed and so whilst we were there, it took ages to get served."

"To be honest a little pricey for a small room. But it definitely is an iconic hotel and the lobby is beautiful. Ducks are cute and the hotel is duck-themed. Parking is extremely expensive, 40 dollars."

"The motel was clean, beds and pillows so comfortable, and the shower was to die for. The breakfast buffet is $22 but we’ll worth the price. EP’s Bar and Grill was tasty, but know food has a spicy kick! Delta’s Diner is to die for! All areas of service were wonderful! Every night at 9 pm hot cocoa and peanut butter sandwiches are put out for snacks. There is a beautiful chapel and fire pit outdoors. There is absolutely nothing I could complain about! The entire place is gorgeous and well decorated."
