"As a solo travel blogger, I chose the Golden Empire Suvarnabhumi Hotel for my layover in Bangkok this time, and the experience exceeded my expectations! • Location: Only a 20-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport, the hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle service, which is a blessing for early morning flights or late arrivals. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to worry about getting around. • Cleanliness: Both the room and public areas were very clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there were no strange odors. As someone who's particular about cleanliness, I was very satisfied. • Service: The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The airport shuttle service was punctual, and the driver was polite, making me feel very secure. • Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, including a gym, a restaurant, and comfortable lounge areas, allowing for good relaxation even during a short stay. Overall, this is an airport hotel with excellent value for money, perfect for solo travelers or those on a layover. Highly recommended!"

"The facilities are a bit dated, it's an old hotel, but it has a swimming pool, spa, and gym. The upside is its proximity to the airport, which is great for late-night arrivals. The service was exceptional; at 3 AM, the front desk staff helped us with our luggage all the way to our room. The breakfast was also very good with a wide variety of options. We booked a twin room for three people, and they had already prepared an extra bed for us when we arrived, which was a nice touch. It's perfect for a good night's rest and a leisurely breakfast to get refreshed quickly."

"Stayed here for 2 nights only. I arrived past midnight after a late flight, and thankfully there was still a receptionist on duty. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. The room was huge, and I got a corner room, which was a plus. There was also a terrace attached to the room, which could have been nice, but unfortunately it wasn’t well maintained. It was dusty and used as a space for the outdoor air-conditioning units. You can still access it, but it didn’t feel comfortable to use. However, the floor was dusty, and overall cleanliness was just okay. The hotel feels quite old, and because it was very quiet, it felt a bit eerie at night. Breakfast wasn’t great and honestly quite forgettable. At the restaurant, one of the male staff members didn’t seem to understand what we were saying and ended up ignoring us completely without even a greeting, which felt awkward. On the bright side, there’s a minimarket right next door, so it’s very easy to buy anything you need. The hotel is also pretty close to the airport around 21 minutes at night. Getting into the city takes about an hour, and a ride to Pratunam / Platinum Mall costs around 400–500 THB via Bolt. Overall, good location near the airport and nice reception staff, but cleanliness, breakfast, and restaurant service could be improved."

"The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, and they provide a transfer service for around 150 baht per hour if needed. You can also get breakfast for about $5 - it’s decent, although it feels a little overpriced for what you get. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. While you can hear airplanes from time to time, the noise wasn’t too bad and didn’t disturb us much. The room itself was quite clean and comfortable. Overall, it’s a good and practical option for a short stay near the airport."

"Clean hotel in good enough for overnight stay between airport and anything else you’re doing, but you have to contend with slightly older room with a shared hot water on the second floor as well. The room does how ever have a TV and mini fridge if that’s something you need. Happy with my one night stay here. There isn’t any fresh food here but they do sell if you see from my pictures the little dry menu that you may want to have in case you don’t make it to the 7-Eleven thats a block down."

"I really enjoyed the hotel services, and the views were great. The facilities like the swimming pool, gym, sauna, and steam room made the stay even better. I especially loved the pool—we even had it all to ourselves at night, which made it a truly beautiful experience. However, I felt that the 150 baht charge for having our luggage taken from the lobby to the second floor (via lift) was quite expensive. It was also a bit disappointing that no one came to assist with the luggage in the morning. Aside from that, everything else was very good."

It boasts a 27-hole course, a driving range, basketball courts, a fully equipped fitness center, and a large outdoor swimming pool. The hotel accommodations consist of multiple three-story buildings connected by walkways. Some rooms directly face the golf course, just about 5 meters from the fairway. A round of golf costs around 400 RMB. For dining, the hotel offers a breakfast restaurant primarily featuring Indian cuisine, a high-end Chinese restaurant (serving premium ingredients like shark fin), and an authentic Western restaurant at the golf club's clubhouse. It's an ideal spot for golf enthusiasts traveling."

The beds were super comfy, the lighting was warm, and the housekeeping team made sure everything stayed fresh and tidy. The staff deserves a special mention. Friendly, polite, and always ready to help, they made the stay even smoother. You can feel the professionalism from the moment you check in to the moment you leave. The hotel’s breakfast area was bright and inviting, offering a nice variety of fresh food to start the day right. Even the small details — like the fragrance in the hallways and the soft background music — added to the experience. Overall, Blue Sky Residence Hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and calmness. I enjoyed every second of my stay and would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended! 🩵✨"

After looking at many hotels, I picked this one mainly because there were no negative reviews about its cleanliness. The room was indeed clean and comparable to a 3-star chain hotel in China. The breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options, and we had a very satisfying meal. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and to our surprise, the person checking us in at dawn even spoke Chinese! A bonus was the complimentary shuttle service to the airport!"

The main reason for choosing it was its proximity to Suvarnabhumi Airport and the early airport drop-off service. The hotel advertises itself as a comfortable and stylish option, seemingly catering mostly to Chinese guests, but it has much to improve in terms of luxury. The room was modern with decent appliances, but the bathroom had an unpleasant odor, the shower pressure was terrible—barely enough to wash my hair—and the air-conditioning was extremely noisy, yet had to stay on in Bangkok’s 30°C heat. Noise from neighboring rooms also made it impossible to rest properly."
