"Let's start with the location: it's a bit isolated, but it has a large, spacious, beautiful lobby, meticulously maintained. At the front desk, you'll find very kind staff who will help you with any small problem or request. Initially, I only planned to stay one night, but given the enchanting surroundings and numerous attractions like Sky Ranch and boat trips, I extended my stay to three nights. The price for a single room, as I was traveling alone, is around €20, with some fluctuations, which should be about 1500 Philippine Pesos. The reason for this price is that the room has basic furnishings; for example, there's no shower curtain and the sink is really tiny. There's a restaurant in the residential complex, and you can have breakfast at a cafe opposite the entrance. I had a small issue with the electricity when I first arrived, and after calling the front desk, they immediately sent a technician who fixed it in under 15 minutes. They provide toothbrushes, soap, and slippers. Here's a tip: download the Food Panda app for food and Joyride for transportation, and as long as it's not the weekend, you shouldn't have any trouble ordering. The pool is a bit small, located on the west wing of the reception area. With a few small improvements, especially in the bar area and by blowing away some leaves with a leaf blower, this could be a premium hotel. Lastly, they have parking available if you want to rent a car or motorcycle."

"We had an absolutely wonderful staycation here! The ambiance of the entire place was fantastic—very relaxing, clean, and beautifully set up.Most importantly, my daughter really enjoyed every moment of our stay, which made the experience even more special for our family. The atmosphere was perfect for unwinding, and the service was excellent.We had such a great time that we are already planning our next visit. We especially loved the farm, outdoor amenities, and peaceful atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the breakfast had a good variety of choices. "Outdated rooms plus cockroaches as bedfellows, anyone who goes will regret it. They wouldn't even provide an extra mattress for my child to sleep on the floor to prevent falls; they wanted to charge 2000p per night for it. Even contacting app customer service didn't help... truly terrible."

"When you book, you won't be able to contact the property owner. You'll just have to find the caretaker when you arrive. The area is really vast, which makes it a bit creepy. But it's great, especially if you have a pet. The rooms are clean, but I don't know what the issue is, as many offices and restaurants are closed and dusty, adding to the creepiness of the place. Good thing many of us booked on that day, so our worries disappeared. On the second day, we were the only ones left, but our anxiety was gone. The caretakers, Ate and Kuya, were super kind, 5/5. If you ask if we'd go back there, my answer is YES. It's perfect if you're looking for a quiet place. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool; it was clean and relaxing."

"Summit Ridge Tagaytay, in my opinion, is quite good. However, there are a few things that are not my cup of tea. Negative points: 1. This is my main concern. I found myself waking up every hour, especially when noisy vehicles passed by. Although there’s not much that can be done about it, I had to wear noise-cancelling headphones while sleeping. 2. Breakfast selection is just average. Enough to get you through the morning. 3. The bottom part of the shower door wasn’t properly sealed, so water leaked out every time I took a shower. 4. The weirdest issue was with the water. The faucet water for brushing teeth and washing my face smelled fine, but sometimes the shower water had a slightly unpleasant odor. Not dirty, just odd. Positive points: 1. My favorite thing about Summit Ridge Tagaytay is the view. I love that they have a sky lounge where you can take clear photos of Taal Lake. During the day, you can enjoy the lake view, and in the evening, you can capture a beautiful golden hour. 2. Great access to supermarkets, restaurants, and many other good spots nearby. 3. Free drinking water is a nice plus. 4. The amenities are also quite good, they even have swings in the lobby."

"We enjoyed our stay at Lake Hotel. We had a view of Taal Lake (and Taal Volcano) and enjoyed having coffee with that view. Food is great and service is superb. Waiters were readily available - assisting us to bring our plate back from the buffet table and helping bring up our bags as there were no elevators. Location is great - Conti’s beside the hotel and other restaurants to the left and right. Wish I was able to swim. Great view of Taal from the pool"

The experience was great,the service is very accommodating, the fir buffet is awesome unlimited. Just I notice the amusement like stationery bike is not friendly due to no saddle and the billiard table has no equipment but maybe we call the front desk but the swimming pool is fantastic very accessible and the room is huge and clean over all total. Hope we can book again as our yearly fambonding. Hooray! Keep the good work all the staff is friendly and especialy the guards is always give a smile upon entering.

Very nice hotel with great views of Lake Taal, rooms are clean and well maintained, they were remodeling some rooms and repairing the steel along the roofline which added some additional noise but they were very considerate about the hours of doing necessary maintenance, the only downsides were the pool closes at 8pm when the city belows lights are very visible and the views would have been great if we were able to use it. And the restaurant was not well stocked, several of the choices we made were not available

I had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel. The front desk team was friendly, professional, and very accommodating from the moment I arrived. They made everything easy and comfortable. What impressed me most was how willingly they assisted with a special request. I needed to interview the Food & Beverage Supervisor, and the staff quickly helped arrange it. The interview went smoothly, thanks to their support and coordination. The F&B Supervisor was kind and informative, and the overall experience was better than expected. The staff’s warm attitude and willingness to assist made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding service.

It was indeed an amazing stay!🥰 . The staff were all so kind and accommodating ❤️ . I love its concept -- being an eco-friendly hotel using containers for the rooms with empty bottles, tree branches for the rooms interiors and lots of hand paintings and own grown up plants all over ❤️❤️❤️ . Love that they are also pet friendly hotel ( a pet playground with waiting area was provided). My family enjoyed games of billiards and table tennis at the roofdeck too!🥰 The place is very instagrammable and unique! We also enjoyed our breakfasts at their Bahay Kafe. They also have function room for intimate gatherings and restos and a spa. Location wise - very near the major road, the first Starbucks in Tagaytay and the nearby tourist attractions! Thank you so much Sir Ricky and Sir Dominic of Containers by Eco Hotel Tagaytay for the very warm welcome and exemptional service!❤️🥰. Highly recommendable! 👍👍👍. We'll come back surely 😉

If we get shower gel or shampoo and complimentary tea, this room would be perfect (comfy bed, good pillows, big room, kettle and coffee, quiet enough for one night) Service is lacking effort in reception. we didn’t need anything, but if they offer we would buy breakfast etc. but no effort from staff at all. Little shame staff is usually what makes the place in Philippines, not here. Location is little far from the views but only 1 km from city center.

The place is far more beautiful than how it is described online. A good view of Taal is what makes it magnificent for visitors and couples who want to escape the noise of Metro. Excellent quality service for a decent price. Complete amenities and the room is very spacious. It has its own TV, refrigerator for storing food and a large mirror. The toilet is also separated from the shower. Free breakfast is also great. The hotel has its own parking lot for guests. Overall, the place is great. Will probably get back here. Will also recommend to friends.

I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration. We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning. One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. The hotel has informed me when I checked in, that the photos of the room I booked which I saw from trip.com’s site, was not the same as what they will give me. And since we were tired from the long travel, I just agreed as long as the number of beds that I’ve booked were the same and the room was senior-friendly. The room was, in general, clean and spacious. However, the phone and the TV were not working. I informed the reception about it and was told it would be fixed after 3 days. The toilet was a disappointment as it looked dilapidated and mouldy. Overall, the staff were friendly and the place looked nice, however, I think there would be a better place to go that is the same as the price I paid.
