Escala Tagaytay

I got what I came for so I’m a satisfied customer. I visited in rainy season and got a dry spell and the view is great and a nice breeze. Buffer breakfast was decent and was changed each day. The staff were always friendly. Negatives. The reviews I read were accurate the walls are thin. On Saturday morning I was out from 4am to 11am and the room was not turned over but I suppose I didn’t hang a sign. The hotel is not that big, so the gym is limited but functional. The pool is not heated but again the view.

The Hotel showcase the breathtaking views of Taal lake. Amenities are great! Food was superb! Me and my friends loved our stay at the hotel. The Staff are all accomodating and friendly. The hotel is nearby to different attractions in Tagaytay. This hotel is value for money.

We understand the hotel’s no-smoking policy and respect it. However, we were disappointed that no staff member informed us immediately. Instead of being warned, my companion was recorded and reported, which resulted in a fine. A simple reminder could have prevented the violation altogether

good ambiance

Very nice hotel with great views of Lake Taal, rooms are clean and well maintained, they were remodeling some rooms and repairing the steel along the roofline which added some additional noise but they were very considerate about the hours of doing necessary maintenance, the only downsides were the pool closes at 8pm when the city belows lights are very visible and the views would have been great if we were able to use it. And the restaurant was not well stocked, several of the choices we made were not available
