"We had a really pleasant stay at SeaSky Siargao! The location was one of the highlights since it’s conveniently located near General Luna, making it easy for us to get around and visit different places. We were also really happy that we were able to check in early, which was a big plus especially after traveling. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and all of our requests were accommodated during our stay. We stayed on the 2nd floor, and our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also really yummy and filling. One small suggestion would be to have a different viand each day, as the viand was sometimes repeated, but overall, we really enjoyed the food. We did encounter an issue with the shower door being broken and needing a little fixing, but it wasn’t a major concern since we were still able to use it properly. Another thing to note is that the property doesn’t have an elevator, so guests staying on the upper floors should be prepared to use the stairs. However, one BIG plus for us was that they have a generator. We experienced a blackout during our stay, but having a generator was definitely a huge advantage and made the situation much more manageable. We also really appreciated their van transfer service. The pickup and drop-off were both on time with no delays, which made our arrival and departure smooth and hassle-free. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at SeaSky Siargao. The convenient location, early check-in, accommodating staff, good breakfast, reliable van transfers, and especially the generator during the blackout made our experience worthwhile. We would definitely consider staying here again when we’re back in Siargao! ❤️"

"Our family of four had an absolutely amazing time at Siargao Island Villas, and we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spacious and spotless rooms—perfect for a family with kids. The resort itself is huge and lush with greenery, which made the tropical heat much more bearable. The facilities were a highlight: a beautiful pool right next to the restaurant, plus ping pong, billiards, and a gym for some fun family competition. We also loved the free paddle boards, and the beachfront location was a dream—the water was incredibly calm (almost no waves!), so our kids could swim safely without worry. What truly set this stay apart was the owner’s generosity. We were lucky enough to be there during a party they hosted for all guests—it was overflowing with free food, drinks, music, and even a live DJ. Such a memorable night! We also made new friends among fellow travelers, which added to the warm, community vibe. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and the owners were genuinely kind and generous. My only regret? I had booked two different hotels in Siargao (just in case), but after experiencing this resort, I wish we had stayed here the entire time. Moving to another place felt like a downgrade! If you’re visiting Siargao, do yourself a favor—book Siargao Island Villas and stay as long as you can. You won’t regret it!"

"Our stay at this hotel during our recent Siargao trip was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. "I am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao. The location is excellent—situated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Café, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargao’s well-known restaurants, cafés, and tourist attractions. The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus. Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoy—perfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting. "It has been the best vacation ever ! Their staff is just amazing, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable, convenient and easy. The location is just perfect. We have all the main points and restaurants closer so, we just needed to walk and no need to use the scooter or tuk tuk. Philippines people is awesome, we were in Coron before but, after visiting Siargao we are sure that we have to come back. "Second time around. Some places are just too good not to revisit and Kermit is one of them. The cozy tropical vibe, friendly staff, and seriously delicious food (hello pizza and pasta) made this another perfect island day. The place is beautiful. Laid-back, full of greenery, and buzzing with that signature Siargao energy. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Note: The road outside isn’t cemented, so it’s a bit of a bumpy ride getting there, but 100% worth it once you arrive. Just think of it as part of the adventure. 😉"

"Here's a polished version of your review while keeping it warm and genuine: ＞ We stayed at Ferra Resort for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our flight arrived early, and they were very accommodating by allowing us to check in as early as 11:00 AM, which we truly appreciated. They even prepared a small suprise for me since we arrived on the day of my birthday. We booked the Rattan Villa for five people, and it was incredibly spacious. There was more than enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. We also had restful nights—the beds were so soft and comfortable that it felt like sleeping in a five-star hotel. The resort has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Ferra Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway. "This hotel is a bit far from the center of General Luna, but still within walking distance. Being a little further out makes it quiet. Although it's long and narrow, it is technically beachfront, so you can step out of your room and walk to the beach to enjoy the ocean view, even at night. Like everywhere else, there are dogs roaming around, which can be a bit unsettling. The hotel is owned by a Westerner, and the staff are friendly."

Kalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal). The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

It’s always fun in mad monkey!! A very social hostel good for solo travelers who wanna make or meet friends or find fellow travelers! Great location in General Luna and walking distance to cloud 9 surfing spot. Mad monkey has a double sized like and a very comfortable bunk beds omg that was amazing!! I love the vibe. Maintained and clean toilets and showers too! I’ll definitely come back🙌🏽🤙🏽🐵❤️

I chose this hostel based on YouTube recommendation. Location is perfect, very close to Cloud 9 and Jacking horse surf shop (where i took surfing classes). It's not very noisy area, quite secluded from nearby shops and hotels. Which is perfect. Carlos at the reception was very very helpful and friendly. I took all the recommendations on restaurants, shops, laundry places. You can also rent a bike from the hotel. Besides there is a good community, they organize pizza nights, outings together, which is super fun if u are travelling alone and want to make friends. People that stay in this hostel are mostly Europeans. I did not have issues with sleeping in a room, everyone was respectful and clean. Bed has a curtain for privacy, light, locker and quite enough space. Showers are clean and i was lucky with hot showers. Overall, very good experience and def would come back again.

Cozy sort of homely hotel. Unfortunately in need of a bit of renovation, mainly the bathroom, ants and mosquitoes came in to the room. It’s located a short bike ride from where everything happens which is good. And they have a free water and coffee station. No cleaning of the room for the 5 nights we stayed there but got clean towels when we asked for it.

Rucksack is the biggest Hostel in Siargao, it offers private rooms for couple, family or group traveller and Dormitory Type rooms for Solo Traveller like me. Dormitory bed is comfortable with thick Hotel bedding, ventilation is very cool. Price is also great specially if you are budget conscious . Rucksack has its own Pool, Restaurant and Bar. Plus activities for guests every night. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

Service was very good. For meals, I ate all kinds of smoothie bowls, but acai was the most delicious. The room was nice and clean, but I wish there was a way to prevent insects from coming. There were many mosquitoes and flies.

The service staff is very friendly. It is inevitable that the floor will be dirty after surfing, and they are also promptly cleaned. The hotel is close to the sea, and you can see the sunrise, but there are sharp reefs and no beach. The dinner options are OK. If you don't want to go out for dinner, you can eat in the hotel restaurant. A huge pitfall is that I had never expected before: the hotel restaurant has always had a resident band and DJ, but the volume is very loud, and it will last until 11 o'clock or even midnight. Even if you are tired from surfing during the day, it is difficult to fall asleep at night. In just a few days there, I have encountered several waves of guests who were unable to bear the disturbance and had to move out early. But the hotel management seems to be ***** and is completely indifferent to the guests' complaints. The staff is also helpless, and they only dare to tell me privately that it was not like this before, and the newly replaced management ”has a very wonderful imagination.” In addition, the wifi is always available and not available.

Pros: • hotel is new, they only opened last August • room was very spacious • beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable • bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner • airconditioning was superb • room has a balcony (that we didn’t use) Cons • because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂 • location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road • breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough. All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.

You get what you pay for. If you want a budget accommodation with privacy and don't want to stay with a hostel, this is an option. Okay naman location since it is along Tourism Road. The downside is walang masyadong kainan na malapit kapag lumabas ka kaya need mo magtricycle palagi everytime gusto mo kumain. Kaya they also offer free breakfast kasi wala ka nga naman makakainan sa labas na malapit. 6:40am start ng breakfast nila tas yung babaeng assistant wala man lang urgency na ihanda agad at 7am pa magsisimula magluto. Lol. The worst part is yung pinapatay nila yung breaker ng electricty kapag tanghali (kasi inaassume nila na walang tao sa room) kaya minsan sobrang init kapag nagstay ka sa don. So need mo pa sila tanungin kung brownout ba or pinatay lang nila breaker tas tsaka nila bubuksan ulit. Then sa gabi sinasarado nila yung main valve ng tubig kesyo nakakalimutan daw ng guest na nakabukas daw yung gripo. E pano makakalimutan eh pinapatay nga nila yung main valve.
