"Great choice to recover from a long flight when arriving in Coron! The pool has an amazing view and the massage service (although it’s more expensive than in the town) was really good and relaxing. Some of the staff were super kind and helpful, while others needed a bit more training, as they replied as if we were annoying them. The best mango shake at all!"

The only downside was that there was no fridge in the room, which would have been a nice addition. "We had a wonderful time at The Funny Lion in Coron. The rooms were incredibly spacious and kept spotlessly clean every single day. We loved the thoughtful extra touches, like the complimentary cookies and the delicious, fresh daily fruit shake. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. "The view from the window overlooking the bay is breathtaking—definitely avoid rooms with a different view! The staff is fantastic, especially the reception team: incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Big thanks to them for that! The restaurant service is good, but the food was underwhelming—breakfasts were quite basic. Only a few dishes on the menu were tasty; the rest need improvement. They should really revamp their offerings. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job. The pool looks beautiful and well-maintained, but there’s an issue with unpleasant odors from the port, which sometimes makes swimming less appealing. The gym is poorly equipped—it could use more machines or at least an Olympic bar."

"We stayed in the King’s Prime View room (or something along those lines), and we honestly had a spectacular experience. The views were stunning — I’m sharing some photos because they really speak for themselves. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The pools are great, super accessible, well-oriented for sun throughout the day, and overall very relaxing. The hotel is about 10–15 minutes away from the center. The on-site restaurant isn’t the best, of course, but the food is decent enough for dinner and does the job. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it."

"We had a really great stay at Sunz en Coron. The staff were incredibly accommodating. They kindly allowed us to rebook after our flight was cancelled, which we truly appreciated. On top of that, they even upgraded us to a family room at no extra cost, which made our stay even more comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The room was clean, fresh-smelling, and looked exactly like the photos, if not better. It’s always a relief when a place lives up to expectations. The plated breakfast was also a highlight for us. It was consistently delicious and very filling, a great way to start the day before heading out. The location is also very convenient, close to the town proper. There’s not a lot of restaurants nearby, and but we found ourselves frequently going to McDonald’s and Doble Asabor since they’re just about a 5-minute walk away. For days when we felt too tired to head out, using Backride Pinas for food delivery was a great option. What we really liked as well was how quiet the environment was compared to staying right in the town proper. It felt more relaxed and peaceful, especially at night. If you want a more peaceful stay away from the noise and busyness of the town center, this place is a great choice. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience, and we’d definitely consider staying here again."

"Overall, my experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The island itself is quite a distance from Coron town. Coron town and this island are located at the northern and southern ends of the main island, respectively. So, getting to the island from town involves an approximately one-hour car ride to the port, followed by a 40-minute boat trip. However, this remote location ensures the island's pristine environment. Here’s a breakdown of the activities available on the island: 1. **Free Activities:** These include snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and mountain climbing. All were enjoyable, and the snorkeling waters were excellent. 2. **Paid Activities:** The prices for these are a bit steep. For example, an island-hopping tour for a day costs between 6000 and 8000 pesos, which I found to be poor value for money. I suggest arriving early and not sticking strictly to the 3 PM check-in time. Arriving earlier allows you to start enjoying the island's facilities right away. Regarding dining and service: 1. The overall service was impeccable. 2. Breakfast was decent. Considering the limited resources on the island, the variety offered was quite good. 3. There are two restaurants on the island. The food is tasty, but a bit pricey, costing around 150-200 RMB per person. In summary, the service and scenery here definitely justify the price."

"The airport transfer was conveniently organized; we didn't book it in advance. A hotel representative meets you at the airport and takes you to the hotel for 250 pesos per person. We liked the hotel; it has a good location with everything you need nearby. Breakfasts are à la carte, with plenty of options to choose from. The front desk staff were excellent; they arranged our ferry tickets to El Nido, so we didn't have to go to the port ourselves. We also booked tours through the hotel and were very satisfied. There's no hairdryer in the room, but you can request one from reception, and they provide it without any issues. Beach towels are also available at reception for 100 pesos."

"In the larger hotel in Cologne city, the building is beautiful, the cleanliness is not bad, the breakfast is simple, but the accommodation is in a good atmosphere and the staff is friendly. It would be perfect if the swimming pool can add a swimsuit dehydrator"

"I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at this resort. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and effortless. I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, check-in was seamless, and my bags were taken straight to my room which made the arrival feel extra special. The room itself was spacious and very clean. I was pleasantly surprised with welcome chocolates and brownies, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was fully equipped with everything you’d need: bottled water, a hairdryer, toiletries, a coffee station, and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks for purchase. It felt comfortable and well-prepared for guests. One thing that really impressed me was the laundry service. They had my clothes washed and returned within three hours, which was incredibly convenient and efficient. The pool area is absolutely stunning and very clean. They have three restaurants on site, which gives great variety. I ordered poolside nachos with a carrot and apple drink and it was delicious. Breakfast is a proper buffet, leaning toward a full English-style spread with plenty of options. That said, I do think the bathroom could use a bit of attention. Water leaked through the shower door when showering, the shower head could benefit from a deep clean, and I noticed a few drain flies. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it’s an area that could definitely be improved. I also experienced a small issue at checkout. They were unable to provide change when I was settling my bill, which delayed things. There were only two staff members assisting with checkout, and although I was scheduled to leave at 6:00am with a breakfast pack, I only managed to leave at 6:30am and unfortunately without the breakfast. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort is beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. With a little more attention to bathroom maintenance and smoother early-morning checkout coordination, it would be close to perfect. I would still happily return."
