"After visiting Sendai, we stopped in Omiya on our way to Echigo-Yuzawa. This hotel is located on the west exit of Omiya Station. It's incredibly clean and conveniently located. The room was spacious enough for two adults and one child. The night view was fantastic, offering a great city skyline. We appreciated the self-service check-in and check-out, and the free luggage storage using a key card. The surrounding area was also great for exploring."

"This hotel was a fantastic find! The large public bath on the second floor was super convenient, making it unnecessary to shower in the room and keeping the room dry. A 14.8 sqm room was perfectly adequate for one person. All rooms face south, so the futons get sun exposure daily, and you can open the windows for ventilation, which is a big plus. The mini-fridge has an on/off switch, so you can turn it off to reduce noise and energy consumption if you don't need it. The room was brand new and odor-free. If you don't leave your room before 10 AM, they won't clean it that day, but you can leave your trash bin outside your door for staff to empty. No water is provided in the room, but there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven within 10 meters downstairs. On the first floor, you can self-service toiletries, tea bags, and ice cream bars. Electric bicycles are available for rent at the entrance. Getting to Tokyo and Shinjuku is easy, but make sure to take the rapid or limited express trains on the subway, as the local trains that stop at every station can be a bit of a drag. For 390, the room rate includes breakfast and two hot spring baths a day. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Omiya Station. The east exit has Takashimaya, while the west exit has Sogo and 0101 (with a large Montbell on the first floor where you can get tax refunds). There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Windsor Racket is about 10 meters to the left in front of the hotel, though they don't have many new arrivals. Inside the station, you'll find Lumine and Lumine 2, which includes Beams. Isomaru Suisan is just 50 meters outside the west exit of the station. Omiya is also a Shinkansen station, making it very convenient to go north to Karuizawa. It only took about an hour from the hotel to the Karuizawa Outlet. The station itself is huge and often sells delicious and reasonably priced local strawberries, tomatoes, and apples. There's also a branch of the famous Sembikiya strawberry cream sandwich shop inside the station. The hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and satisfying, mainly Japanese-style with plenty of soups and dishes. The value for money is exceptional. They also offer unlimited free takeaway coffee every day. I feel like this is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Staying for a full week costs about the same as one night in the city. It's an absolute steal!"

"We knew the hotel was near the train station but didn't know how close it was! The building it was in and around it had many food options with a really delicious bakery on the 2nd floor. Not far from the Cocoon City Mall and the Saitama Super Arena, it has easy access to travel within and outside of the Saitama area. We were lucky enough to catch the Art Aquarium Exhibit at the arena which was a delightful treat. The hotel staff were courteous and attentive and the rooms were comfortable with all the necessities for our group. Would definitely recommend and return whenever we want to visit Saitama or Tokyo again!"

"Use for travel with children and elementary school students in lower grades. ［ Good ］ • It was good because the double bed was attached and there was little concern that the child would fall. • Convenient distance for children to walk from Omiya Station. ［ I'm sorry ］ • There was no elevator and it was on the second floor, but it was hard because the carry was heavy. • The bed was clean, but the room was not very clean. There was dirt under the washing machine and dust on the toilet ventilation fan. • It is convenient to have a washing machine in the room, but there is no pole and no dryer, so there is no place to dry. • The closet had fixtures and was not hung. It was inconvenient because there was no elevator and it was a heavy carry bag."

"Every time I visit Japan, no matter where I go first, my last stop is always Tokyo. And when I'm in Tokyo, Urawa Pines Hotel is my absolute top choice. While it's located at Urawa Station in Saitama Prefecture, it's incredibly close to Tokyo, and the transportation is unbelievably convenient. Let me elaborate: * **To Ueno or Tokyo:** No transfers needed, and you can take a rapid train. * **To Ikebukuro or Shinjuku:** Again, no transfers, and a rapid train gets you there quickly. * **To Karuizawa:** Just hop on the Shinkansen at Omiya Station. * **To Yokohama:** Direct train, no transfers. You can even get directly to Odawara and Atami. Besides the convenient transportation, the shopping is also a big draw, with Isetan and PARCO right at the station exit. The small street leading to the hotel is a bustling food street, full of delicious options. But the best part, ultimately, is the hotel itself. The rooms are spacious, bright, comfortable, and cozy. Even the smaller rooms are 24 square meters, and the larger ones are 32 square meters – which is almost unbelievable in Japan, where space is at such a premium. What's even more surprising is the price. For anyone doing a self-guided tour of Japan, Urawa Pines Hotel should be your first choice. Highly, highly recommend it!!!"

"Easy reach from Omiya station West exit via Sogo Dept Store. Clean, supportive & efficient staff at breakfast (crowded) at level 13. Compact room with small Bathroom/toilet. Check in reception is at level 13,. Self service coin laundry at level 14. 7-11 and Lawson convenient stores are near hotels. BiC camera store opposite hotel. Hotel provides complimentary socket from Reception counter"

"Nice hotel situated fairly close to Omiya station. You can actually enter the Hotel from 2F using the elevated pedestrian walkway all the way from the train station, which is very convenient since it avoids having to carry your suitcase up and down stairs, and don't need to wait for traffic lights to cross the streets below. My room was a bit larger than a typical business hotel, and it came with a large desk which was nice."

"It was a bit far from Saitama-shintoshin Station, however the lawson is located their second floor and it was very convenient. The room was very clean and there were various amenities in the room! Check out is very easy."

"I stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2025. It was conveniently located, clean, quiet, and had a delicious and varied breakfast. The only issue was the strange, long pillow made of some kind of tubes, which made sleeping very unusual. The location is excellent, and I'd especially like to point out that it's within walking distance of Omiya Station, a Shinkansen stop. Along the way from the subway/trains, or rather, from the station, there are many convenient stores, as well as the huge Lumine shopping mall. By the way, it's a great place if you want to be close to Tokyo and also be practically the only tourist in the city (that's the impression I got). Thank you for a wonderful stay, I recommend it."
