"The facilities have been renovated, but I was surprised to smell cigarette smoke as soon as I got off the elevator, even though it's supposed to be non-smoking. They only provide basic amenities, so you should definitely bring your own toiletries and cosmetics. The room was clean, but I was quite surprised to see the key card holder on the wall was taped up with masking tape and there were sticker marks on the air conditioner remote. Also, I was surprised there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom."

"The hotel is a five-minute walk from Omiya Station, which is a major plus as it's very close to the subway. There are also frequent trains to the city center, and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, including a beautiful large park! The service was truly outstanding. I asked the front desk for local food recommendations, and they quickly printed out a food map for me. There were quite a few tour groups staying there, but my room was spacious and comfortable, and being on a high floor offered beautiful views. If you need cleaning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. On the downside, it's quite a distance from central Tokyo, requiring multiple transfers, so you need to pay attention to your directions. Also, there's a cemetery nearby, and you can see it from the room if you open the window. Something to consider if that bothers you."

"I rarely write reviews, but this hotel is quite close to Omiya Station and easy to find. The single room isn't huge, but the bed is a good size, perfect for one person. The hotel breakfast was decent, and the ground floor has a nice ambiance. The only drawback is that the hotel is long and narrow, with over 20 rooms on a single corridor. If you have one of the larger rooms, you'll have quite a walk down the hallway after getting off the elevator."

"We knew the hotel was near the train station but didn't know how close it was! The building it was in and around it had many food options with a really delicious bakery on the 2nd floor. Not far from the Cocoon City Mall and the Saitama Super Arena, it has easy access to travel within and outside of the Saitama area. We were lucky enough to catch the Art Aquarium Exhibit at the arena which was a delightful treat. The hotel staff were courteous and attentive and the rooms were comfortable with all the necessities for our group. Would definitely recommend and return whenever we want to visit Saitama or Tokyo again!"

"Every time I visit Japan, no matter where I go first, my last stop is always Tokyo. And when I'm in Tokyo, Urawa Pines Hotel is my absolute top choice. While it's located at Urawa Station in Saitama Prefecture, it's incredibly close to Tokyo, and the transportation is unbelievably convenient. Let me elaborate: * **To Ueno or Tokyo:** No transfers needed, and you can take a rapid train. * **To Ikebukuro or Shinjuku:** Again, no transfers, and a rapid train gets you there quickly. * **To Karuizawa:** Just hop on the Shinkansen at Omiya Station. * **To Yokohama:** Direct train, no transfers. "Having stayed at three Dormy Inn hotels – Wakayama, Oita, and Omiya – this one, in Omiya, was the least impressive overall. However, it still surpasses most Japanese hotels in the 600 JPY price range. The main issue is that half the rooms face a wall and a large cemetery. Also, the Sky Onsen can't really be considered a true open-air bath. Perhaps because of the diverse clientele here, the onsen's cleanliness wasn't particularly great. One thing worth mentioning is that they accommodate guests with tattoos; as long as you cover them with two 10x10 cm tattoo stickers, you can use the onsen. This is quite welcoming, as judging people based on their appearance is outdated and impolite. Finally, there are many convenience stores downstairs, and a very clean and well-stocked drugstore (though prices are slightly higher). It's also very close to the station, so the value for money is still excellent. I would choose to stay here again when visiting Omiya."

"I stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2025. It was conveniently located, clean, quiet, and had a delicious and varied breakfast. The only issue was the strange, long pillow made of some kind of tubes, which made sleeping very unusual. The location is excellent, and I'd especially like to point out that it's within walking distance of Omiya Station, a Shinkansen stop. Along the way from the subway/trains, or rather, from the station, there are many convenient stores, as well as the huge Lumine shopping mall. By the way, it's a great place if you want to be close to Tokyo and also be practically the only tourist in the city (that's the impression I got). Thank you for a wonderful stay, I recommend it."

I came to this hotel to watch a concert in さいたまスーパーアリーナ. It's about 8 minutes away from Shinto Shinto Station, and the environment is very quiet. The hotel is not very new, and the decoration is ordinary, but the room is large, which is very good at this price. The front desk staff are very friendly I am older and don't speak foreign languages, but my attitude is very friendly. There is no self-service check-in. It is a 3-star hotel so there is no entertainment. If you just want to rest, it is no problem. It is worth a try.

The location is great just a few steps from the train station, and nearby a big mall ”AEON”. The self check-in and check-out, laundry machine, amenities, free coffee/tea and breakfast, and the room itself is perfect. This will be my choice again next time if I come back to this area.

The hotel is strategically located, just a stone's throw away from JR. The room is small but well-equipped, and the breakfast selection and taste are also very good. The only drawback is that the price almost doubled during the ice show.

The location is great, especially for accessing Shinsadong. Considering Shinsadong is generally a bit off the beaten path, this location is actually quite good. The welcome drink, however, was disappointing and its availability seemed inconsistent. As for the complimentary amenities offered at the entrance, I felt some staff members gave me judgmental looks, making me feel watched – as if I was taking too many. This was strange because I only took one per day, or sometimes none at all, yet I still had this odd feeling of being monitored. On a more positive note, housekeeping was incredibly quiet, which was perfect for relaxing even if I slept in late. I enjoyed the train view from my room (though I understand not all rooms have this). Overall, most of the staff were friendly. The bathtub was small, but the water quality was excellent.

A great independent hotel, and there are too many good places to go near Omiya Station, and the hotel facilities are very, very clean. I am really honored to live here. I like it very much. I will definitely come again next time. Please also see my recommendation to come to the bar quickly. The people at the counter are also very willing to help the food in the indifference can be eaten freely, but there are some costs, but I think this is already very worthwhile and very hygienic. Every day, I will give you new clothes and toothbrushes. I think the part of the toothbrush can be reduced to environmental protection and can communicate with passengers later.

It's a short walk from the station, but a little hard to find. I was drinking in the area and a woman at the bar stole some money from my wallet, so I don't have good memories of Omiya, but I'll stay here if I come back.

The young man at the front desk of the store has a good attitude and is very kind. Every question will be answered. The older ones may have been cheated by Chinese people before, so they are very wary. For example, when you leave the hotel, you must hand over the key to the front desk for safekeeping, and after checking out, you must leave the hotel and cannot wait in the lobby. Young people don't have any of these broken rules. It doesn't matter how long you take as long as it doesn't disturb others resting in the lobby. I probably won't stay in this hotel again.

I stayed at the Omiya Pione Land Hotel the night before taking the first Shinkansen train. The front desk had a wide variety of amenities available, which was convenient as I could freely choose what I needed. Although the guest rooms don't have automatic locks, they can be securely locked from the inside, so I felt safe during my stay. The rooms were beautifully renovated and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The staff were all kind, making for a pleasant stay. The hotel is close to the entertainment district with many restaurants, so finding food is not a problem. It's also close to Omiya Station, making it a very convenient hotel for those taking the first Shinkansen train. I would recommend it for business trips, vacations, and overnight stays before concerts or other events.

The location was good in front of the station, and there were many taverns and convenience stores and it was comfortable. The room was renovated and new and clean. The bed was Simon and the bed was very comfortable. I was able to spend without any inconvenience. I will make a reservation next time.
