The hotel has excellent ski-in/ski-out access, with the gondola just a short walk from the ski valet. This made it very easy to start and finish a full day on the slopes without any hassle. The surrounding snow scenery was also beautiful. After skiing, I really enjoyed relaxing in the onsen, which was one of the highlights of the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food. Although the rooms are a bit dated, the overall experience was comfortable and the location is perfect for a ski holiday in Niseko."

Regarding dining, breakfast offers a delightful combination of à la carte and buffet options, with an extensive and nutritious selection. For dinner, I'd suggest exploring nearby restaurants for better value and variety. Its location is truly a 'hidden gem' – secluded yet convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the ski village's commercial area, which even in summer has a pleasant buzz. For those driving, it offers privacy and convenience. Guests without a car can easily connect via the Hilton hotel next to the ski slope, ensuring clear and efficient transportation. "Overall a great stay. The biggest advantage is the convenience. It is truly ski in ski out, which makes it very easy to access the slopes without needing to travel anywhere. The slopes here are also very beginner friendly. They are not too steep, which makes it a comfortable place to learn or practice skiing. I also took a 2 hour private ski lesson arranged through the hotel. Our instructor, Yuki, was very friendly, patient, and encouraging, which made the learning experience enjoyable. The only downside was the food. Both the dinner and breakfast buffet had quite limited variety, and the taste was just average. Considering the price we paid, the food did not feel very worth it. Overall, it is still a good place to stay if you want convenience and easy access to beginner friendly slopes. Just do not expect too much from the buffet."

"We had a wonderful stay at Niseko Grand Hotel! My friend and I truly enjoyed our time there. One of the highlights was definitely the hotel's own hot springs — absolutely amazing. There are both female-only and mixed-gender areas, which was a great option to have. The staff was incredibly friendly and always eager to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made us feel welcome. In fact, staying here felt more like being at a countryside residence than at a hotel — warm, peaceful, and cozy, just like home. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Niseko — and we hope we will! We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which made the experience even more special. Yukata and yuami (bathing suit) were also provided. The hotel also offers free shuttle buses to the ski slopes regularly, which made it super convenient for us to enjoy the mountains. On the day of our departure, the hotel’s driver kindly took us to the nearest train station. Another standout was the hotel’s restaurant. Breakfast was included in our stay, and we also chose to have dinner there a few times. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared. The buffet offered a wide variety of both Asian and Western cuisine, and the selection was impressive for both breakfast and dinner. We also tried eating out at a couple of other restaurants in Niseko, but we both agreed that the hotel’s restaurant was by far the best for us. Highly recommend this place!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Kanronomori, especially with the facilities that they had. Their almost 24 hour onsen, their guest lounge, the free shuttle bus to the resorts, and the ski/snowboard rental store connected to the hotel. Although there is a ski/snowboarding school connected to the hotel, there isn't much communication between the two teams which led to me booking lessons elsewhere before my trip. I was able to rent my snowboarding and ski gear on the same day and didn't need to book it. It was a smooth process and the staff were extremely helpful. Just to note that the hotel is a bit far from Grand Hifaru and taxis are limited and expensive. "

"This is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run."

"We stayed at Niseko Towers and overall had a mixed experience. The location is great if you’re driving, as there is plenty of parking available. Without a car, however, it may feel less convenient. The building has an onsen on-site, which was a nice touch after a long day out. One of the biggest positives is the size of the apartment — it’s very spacious, with more than enough room for large luggage and ski gear. This makes it comfortable for longer stays. However, there were some downsides. The bed was quite hard, and we both woke up with back pain during our stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing — very limited selection and lacking in quality. It didn’t feel like much care was put into the overall hospitality experience. In summary, the space and parking are strong points, but improvements in bedding comfort and breakfast quality would make a big difference."

"Very traditional, amazing onsen and breakfast. Do leave the keys behind when you head out (traditional Japanese system). Must return to the accommodation and collect your keys by midnight. Parking is free (outdoors only). Drying room available is great for my snow gear."

"The room was pretty good, and overall, I had a great experience. This trip to Niseko, a renowned ski destination with many luxury hotels, was a perfect end to my vacation. I stayed in the hotel's Deluxe Panorama Room, and it was an excellent experience overall."

"My daughter and I arrived here for one night and found our stay very comfortable and luxurious, although it was only a brief visit. The room was a great size and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately we were unable to add an additional guest for dinner that evening, who was also staying in the resort so instead we chose to cancel dinner and eat out all together. Similarly we were also unable try the food at breakfast as we arrived just before 9am, but were too late so please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to go. I would have liked a longer time there to try the food and also the Onsen as the hotel was lovely."
