"The location is absolutely fantastic! Built right along the Katsura River, you can open your window to the soothing sound of the river and lush greenery. It's only a 3-minute walk to Shuzenji Temple, and a morning stroll along the riverbank is incredibly relaxing. The Japanese experience feels so authentic. Dinner was a kaiseki meal, with sea bream chazuke and grilled wagyu that were both fresh and exquisite. The room was a traditional Japanese-style room, and the tatami mats were clean and soft."

"This was my second stay here. The hotel is nestled on a small hill, offering a very quiet environment. I booked the pet-friendly tatami room, and during my stay, I could take out pet supplies, making the tatami area convenient for dining and tea.
The room service dining experience felt more comfortable and relaxed than eating in the restaurant, which was a plus. Breakfast was just average, though. One area for improvement: the forks provided with room service meals were too dull; it was difficult to spear meat. I suggest replacing them or using the same type of forks found in the restaurant for breakfast.
The hotel's location is quite central on Izu Island, making it ideal for a driving tour around the island.
Additionally, there's a small but convenient laundry room on the first floor, on the way to the main public bath. It costs 300 yen per wash, and there's also a dryer available."

"The staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains."

"Overall, this hotel is a very cost-effective hotel, especially for guests who play golf. I will stay here again next time. I stayed in the hotel for three consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was different every day and very rich. There were two days of set breakfast and one day of buffet breakfast. You can see Mount Fuji from your room, but because of the cloudy weather, you can only see the top of the mountain for a short time. The rest of the time, Mount Fuji was hiding behind the clouds. It is said that because of the low light pollution, the hotel is very suitable for stargazing, but I ate too much for dinner every day and went to bed early. It's a pity. Next time I will experience the hot springs and stargazing. The hotel's hot spring is Nekogoshi Hot Spring, which has indoor and outdoor facilities. I especially like the outdoor hot spring. You need to walk down a few steps, as if you are in the middle of the woods. When the wind is strong, the leaves rustle, which is very healing. Let's talk about the hotel's golf course. Since I didn't book a package that included playing golf, the playing fee was additional, but it was also very affordable. The food was exquisite and incredibly delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that the wasabi hot pot set menu also came with sashimi, Wagyu beef, and abalone? Or was it soft-shelled turtle? (The lobster in the picture was ordered separately.) Overall, the food was prepared with great care.
The hotel has a traditional Japanese style, and the courtyard is absolutely beautiful. Although our English isn't great, the front desk staff was very patient and meticulous in explaining all the rules to us. During meals, she even introduced each dish and spoke a few words of Chinese – we really loved her!
There was an unexpected and wonderful surprise when we checked out: all the staff came out to bid us farewell and even held up a banner that said, ”Please come again!” It was so touching and made us so happy; the emotional value was completely maximized.
The room we booked included a private onsen, which was available 24 hours a day.
We will definitely be back!!!

LLIHUAHotel location is good, very close to Xiushan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail. There are 7 floors, which are considered high in local hotels.
There is a forest behind the hotel and the air is nice.
The old lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly in English.
Dining is a VIP room in each section, you can enjoy the food quietly.
Open air, go out on the fifth floor. The scale is not very large, connected to the mountains. An appointment is required. The time for soaking is 45 minutes. The time is up before people feel truly relaxed.
Breakfast time is earlier and I want to go back and rest after eating. The tatami beds have been put away. Check-out time is 10:30 in the morning, guests can't leave, and then clean up. Not very humane.

Izu has many internet-famous hotels, but this one truly evokes the feel of a forgotten Showa-era celebrity inn. From the layout to the room decor, service, and cuisine, the hotel is every bit the high-end establishment it once was. There are hardly any Chinese residents here, only Japanese tourists on vacation. Meals are served in the rooms, and there's virtually no interaction with other guests. It's a bit like a membership-based hotel, but open to everyone. It feels like a waste not to promote this place! It's a truly niche, upscale hot spring hotel, and the prices are quite reasonable. The value is far better than the exorbitant prices of many internet-famous hotels these days. The large baths have a beautiful view, and there's also a hot spring in the room. With the added meal, we also received a free private bath for the family. Our room service was provided by an elderly lady who didn't speak Japanese, but used a translation app to communicate, giving us a truly authentic Japanese hotel experience. Forget those internet-famous places; come here and experience it; it's a guaranteed, reliable experience worth the trip. Ultimately, it's a shame not to promote this place!

It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The rooms on the second floor are accessible by stairs. The bathroom is in the corridor and is shared by three rooms.
There are two indoor pools for men and women on the first floor. They are very small and can only be used by two people at most. The hot spring water is hot and the scenery outside the breakfast window is beautiful.
