"Whenever I visit Japan, I tend to book a Daiwa Roynet Hotel. Over the past few years, I've traveled to many cities from south to north, and there's almost always a Daiwa Roynet. This particular one is a bit of a walk from Aomori Station, about 7-8 minutes, but it's conveniently located on the main street. We booked a Deluxe Double Room and stayed for 3 nights. The room size was perfect; there was plenty of space near the entrance to open up our large suitcases. It was a corner room, so we even had a window with a sea view. On our second night, we were lucky enough to catch the warm-up fireworks display for the Nebuta Festival right from our hotel room, which was an incredible experience. Another highlight was the massage chair in the room – that was a huge bonus for us! It was easily the most-used amenity during our 4-day stay. Highly recommend! We'll definitely book this hotel again on our next trip to Aomori."

"Extremely clean, and it even has a huge bathtub! It's super close to the station, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also very convenient for sightseeing, as all the main attractions are within walking distance. Highly recommend! There's an underground fish market nearby too, which is really cool."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. Even though it was a smoking room, the smell was still bearable, and I could open the window a little. There was a water dispenser by the elevator. The parking is a mechanical system and costs 1000 yen per day. The hotel front desk is on the fifth floor, and the cheese bread from the bakery on the first floor is really good. This hotel didn't offer a late-night snack, and there was no apple juice available, which some reviews mentioned."

"The hotel's location is excellent; you can take the elevator directly up from the JR station. The front desk staff are all very kind and friendly, especially one gentleman who speaks Chinese. The entrance design for the ladies' public bath is a bit odd, lacking sufficient privacy, and the changing room area feels a bit cramped. The lounge on the same floor offers beautiful views, facing the sea, and you can see A-Factory and other Aomori landmarks directly. The lounge provides drinks and even small snacks in the evening. There's an ice cream freezer next to the front desk, which is perfect after a bath. The hotel also offers activities like yoga and Pilates, which I didn't get a chance to try this time. Although it was the most basic room type, we were on the 10th floor with great views. On our second day, we saw a huge rainbow and even experienced an earthquake – a truly unforgettable experience! I would definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Aomori."

"Enjoyed the stay here as the hotel is near convenience store and ASPAM centre. It's located near Aomori station and is strategically located near Aomori city centre. Dated design but definitely a pleasant stay as the cleanliness of the room strikes the best amongst all."

"We were two people. The room we stayed at was not big. If you have two suitcases it will be hard to open up both of them at the same time. We didn’t have suitcases, and therefore the space was not a problem for us. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I lost my gloves at a bus, and they helped me to get them back. You also got apple juice as a welcome drink at the front desk (very nice apple juice!). We used baggage storage after checking out, which was no problem. The room was very clean. When we were there they had an eco plan, which was that the room got cleaned only once at our 4 night stay, but could get towels whenever we wanted. We though it was good from the environment perspective (but we decided to not have any cleaning at all). Overall I though our stay at this hotel was very good."

We were assigned a high-floor room on the 12th floor with a beautiful ocean view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, and the beds were large and very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The hotel is well-equipped with excellent hot spring facilities, including both indoor and outdoor baths as well as a sauna — a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring Aomori. Hotel breakfast is delicious and many choices. We also appreciated the practical amenities provided. The laundry machines are free to use, with a 30-minute wash cycle. The dryer costs only 100 yen for 20 minutes, which is very convenient for longer stays. The room also features a large, modern TV, and the hair dryer provided is a premium Refa brand, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay with great onsen facilities and thoughtful amenities. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Aomori."

"It's about an 8-minute walk from Aomori Station to the hotel, which is located in a building. The front desk isn't on the ground floor; you need to take an elevator up. The room is indeed quite small; a 28-inch suitcase can barely be opened. If you don't have high expectations for room conditions, this place is worth considering, and the price is relatively good value for money. They also offer complimentary facial cleanser, makeup remover, and face cream at the front desk, which is a nice touch!"

"We stayed for 5 nights and were very satisfied with the value for money. We experienced the family bath and hot springs, and booked two rooms that included breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed delicious Japanese food every day. The problem arose on the last day during breakfast. About 10 minutes before the 9 AM closing time, my mother, trying to be considerate of the restaurant staff, poured her remaining coffee into a paper cup, intending for our family of four to clear our dishes and leave. At that moment, an old man, leaning with both hands on the kitchen counter, loudly shouted something unintelligible at us. Our entire family was startled, confused, and didn't understand what he was saying. As foreigners who don't speak Japanese, we couldn't comprehend him. After hearing him repeatedly shout loudly, we guessed we should pour the coffee back into the cup and left. Other guests were present, and this experience was the worst, ruining our family's impression of Japan. Shortly after, we tried to ask the old man about it, but he pretended not to understand English and avoided conversation, retreating into the kitchen. If there's a communication barrier, they should use a friendly translation app or clearly guide guests with actions instead of a kitchen staff member standing like a king with arms outstretched, shouting. Also, it was uncomfortable to have restaurant staff constantly watching how many plates people took, probably because individual dishes were served one by one. It's been a while since our trip ended, but that incident still pops into my mind. My family also talks about it. I hope they don't ruin tourists' enjoyable trips with rigid and inappropriate behavior. We felt disrespected as foreigners. I briefly explained this to the front desk using a translator, and a female staff member repeatedly offered polite apologies. Due to our departure schedule, we couldn't speak with the old man again or receive an apology, which is probably why we won't be returning to Japan."

"I wasn’t expecting that much with this price, but surprisingly good hotel with this price. They serve free beef bowl at night and 550 yen breakfast buffet was very nice. They got some curry and chicken dishes and it was very tasty. Night view was nice and there is Machinaka-Onsen nearby so i strongly recommend to visit there. Room and toilet was very small and very old but it was not that bad. After all i was surprisingly satisfied with this hotel, and i wanna visit there again if i go to Aomori again. 5/5."
