However, I shouldn't have to pay for that mistake. Shouldn't Ctrip and the hotel discuss this and give me a reasonable explanation? I like this hotel, and I'm a loyal Ctrip user. Please don't disappoint me. Above are photos of the room type I stayed in (809)."

"Enjoyed my stay at Dormy Inn Aomori. Not much to do in Aomori city so the hotel was a good pit stop to take a breather on a 2 week vacation in Japan. The hot spring is adequately big with indoor and outdoor areas (the outdoor large pot bath was amazing!), loved the massage chairs and chill corner with free ice cream. Also appreciated the night soba which was salty but delicious . Breakfast was a big spread with DIY tuna and scallop bowls, and really nice dessert! Only complaint is that the hotel is quite far from the station, need to walk about 10 minutes but there are shops along the way."

"Room incredibly cold. Unable to adjust using AC remote to achieve a sweet-spot temperature after repeated attempts. We ended up simply turning off usage. Toilet no warmer with damaged bidet. They tried repairing but to no avail. Offered room change but we declined since checking out next day. Customer service in Japan never fails but this hotel facilities surely need attention. Applaud also to the front desk team whom seemingly multi-tasked from being a concierge to repairman. Amazing force to be reckoned 👍"

I highly recommend the breakfast; it mainly featured local specialties, with plenty of vegetables and less meat, making it very healthy and delicious. This time, I got to see the perfect snow scenery."

Asamushi Sakura Kanko Hotel
"I chose this place because of the sea view. I checked in on the first day in the afternoon, and the sun was already setting around 4 PM, so I recorded a time-lapse video to show you. As for the facilities, there's a large onsen (hot spring bath), which is especially interesting for a seaside onsen. There are indoor and semi-open-air baths, and it wasn't crowded. The men's and women's baths are separate, and all the amenities were extremely clean! In the evening, there's a 20-minute performance by a famous Karuzu shamisen player, which is definitely worth listening to. They also have local music and other well-known performances. Breakfast and dinner are both banquet-style dishes. Overall, I was very satisfied! Just a heads-up: there's no transportation. Getting to and from Asamushi Onsen Station is a 700-800 meter walk, and it gets quite dark at night. You can book a shuttle bus for the next morning before 9 PM each night. There weren't many foreign guests, and most communication was in Japanese. You can use translation software to communicate, and the staff were all quite friendly! I personally really liked it, and if I choose to drive in Aomori next time, I'll definitely choose this place again!"

"Take the Aomori Line private railway from Aomori to Asamushi Onsen Station; it's a short walk from the station exit. The front desk service is excellent. There's a shamisen performance in the lobby in the evening, and the rooms have a direct view of the sea."

"I liked that the dinner was a simple Japanese Kaiseki meal rather than a buffet. However, I think the drink prices are high. The hot springs and spring quality were very good, but the open-air bath was disappointing. In the men's bath, the open-air bath and the large bath are connected, but in the women's bath, the large bath and the open-air bath are separated. Moreover, the open-air bath was only open until 10:30 pm and could not be used in the morning. The Japanese-style room we used faced Mutsu Bay and had a nice view. However, as it faces National Route 4, the noise of cars woke me up many times throughout the night. The buildings and equipment are also quite old."

"We stayed here with our dog. There are no other facilities in the area that accept dogs, so this inn is very convenient. Even though it's a traditional, traditional Japanese inn, meals are served in the room, with a table set up for you. Naturally, our dog ate here, too. Each dish was carefully prepared and elaborate. It truly lives up to its reputation as a traditional Japanese inn. The menu was rich in local flavor and was delicious. We were very satisfied. The coasters and menus were all handwritten by the proprietress, and I was impressed by how much care she puts into her guests. The staff were all friendly, smiling, and easy to talk to. The person in charge of our room was a good talker and listener, and very kind. The bath was a little cramped, and it seemed like it was difficult for three people to fit in at the same time, which was a bit disappointing, but it was a very nice bath and very comfortable. I've been staying in hotel-style facilities more often recently, so it's been a while since I've stayed in a Japanese-style inn like this. I've been finding it annoying having staff come into my room all the time, but this experience made me realize once again how wonderful traditional Japanese inns are. Thank you, Satsu-san."

"It takes about 7-10 minutes to walk from the station. The room is a decent size, but the air conditioning is shared and cannot be used in individual rooms. When I went, the weather was still cool, so I could open the window. The hotel is near the shopping center street, but there are very few shops open, only open in the evening. There is a coin-operated laundry. Overall, the price is good, the accommodation is comfortable."
