Hotels with WiFi in Keswick

We booked the Superior Double Room and I felt it was well worth the extra for the gorgeous view we had from 2 large windows - whether the skies were sunny or cloudy. The location was excellent - within 5 to 10mins walk to the town and to Derwent Water and parking was well explained and ample. On entering Fellpack House, it was pleasant, well cared for and inviting. Our room on the top floor (stairs all the way up) was straight out of a home & decor magazine. The amenities, furnishing, towels and beverages were quality stuff and we saw that they also used locally sourced soaps and beverages. Housekeeping was daily and I loved that the gave us delicious chewy chocolate chip cookies each day! The breakfast was fresh & flavourful. That they started off as a restaurant (that operates across the road and is highly rated) carries through in their breakfast - I ate so much and it was worth every calorie! Best of all were the staff. We met many over the course of our stay and every one of them were warm, chatty, highly customer-oriented and witty! Can you tell how much I loved our stay there 😀

The room was clean and very warm and comfortable. The staff was very thoughtful and patient. I recommended some beautiful places around. The breakfast was very rich. The ceremony was full. The taste was great. The whole town was small but it was very relaxing. Climbing the mountain and hiking the lake. There were many projects that could be played. Hope to come back next time

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely B&B in Keswick. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was perfect each morning. The location couldn’t be better, just a 3-minute walk into the town centre and ideal for setting off on daily adventures. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was spotless. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and bring our dog next time

Lovely Hotel staff friendly and helpful Food good but expensive

I have grave misgivings about hotels in the busiest parts of the Lake District, especially at holiday times. Obviously they will be relentlessly overcrowded, with harassed and unfriendly staff. I’ve wanted to go back to the Proper Lake District for a while though so took a risk on the King’s Head. It’s easy to find on the ear popping main road up from Grasmere, just beyond the impressive hulk of Steel Fell, close to Thirlemere. Parking anywhere in the Lakes is hideous and expensive. Not here. Relaxed and plenty of room. It’s a long building with a pleasant bar restaurant area and beer garden. I found a rather pleasant residents lounge where a lady called Jo checked me in and made me feel welcome. It does get busy with passing trade but the staff look after their residents. They flogged me decent real ale and Jura whisky (the proper stuff). Breakfast is briskly table served from a menu and is well presented. I didn’t eat otherwise there but the food is popular and well priced. The road outside is busy and a bit of a racetrack, and the occasional fighter jet roars between the mountains on low altitude practice, but the relentless bleating of the sheep opposite soon returns things to normal. I was a little sorry to depart, but the manager said he hoped I would come again. I believe I will, and will even bring my wife.

很漂亮的小別墅，我預訂的單人間，房間雖然小，住一晚也足夠了。 2樓的客廳很英倫，喜歡。 早餐中規中矩是傳統英式早餐，一大堆根本吃不完。 房東Lucy很和藹可親，唯一不足的是暖氣間斷供暖，晚上睡覺比較冷，我把羽絨服啥也蓋在被子上才暖和點，可能是床離窗子太近了，是真冷。 另外，衞生間的電熱毛巾架也是間斷供熱的 離鎮中心有點點距離，另外我房間還殘留上個住客的垃圾，真環保。總體來説還是不錯

Lovely hotel, service was great and the food was excellent. The gardens are beautiful for sitting out with a nice cold drink on a hot day.

Nice cosy bedroom, nice breakfast. A place well located, 10mn walk to the centre of Keswick. Great.

Lovely 2 night stay, food and drink was exceptional especially the Cumbrian breakfast, our room was a little small but we booked the std double, the staff were all amazing and made every effort to make sure that you were looked after. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for two days, booked separately in two reservations, detailed review in another post I saw Chinese people in the hotel team in the welcome letter, but I didn’t meet any this time (to be precise, I hardly met any Chinese people in Keswick. It is a good choice for quiet and leisure. I like Keswick very much
