Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good.
The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok.
The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

The hotel is relatively new, and the linens are of good quality and fresh. They were clean and odorless. The parking lot is huge, and the hotel offers a timely shuttle service to scenic spots for guests. The service was warm, polite, and courteous. The only downside is that the duvet was a bit thick; Southern tourists are used to thinner blankets. Breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant downstairs had good food.

Guest UserOn this business trip to Guizhou, I arrived early and decided to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall. It was my first time staying at the Orange Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations by a mile! The hotel's interior was spotless, and the facilities were excellent. They even had the hot water kettle plugged in and ready to use, which was super convenient. The hotel offers a private shuttle service, and they'll take you whenever you're ready, even if you're the only passenger, which was a fantastic experience. From now on, the Orange Hotel will be my first choice!

Found a gem of a hotel for our family trip to Huangguoshu! The decor is brand new, everything is clean and tidy, and the location is excellent. The rooms are spacious, making it super convenient to explore the scenic area. The staff were attentive and helpful, responding quickly to any requests.
The biggest surprise was the fantastic family-friendly facilities. There's a huge kids' play area where they can burn off energy, and free children's craft activities – the kids had an absolute blast, which was a real lifesaver for us parents. The hotel also has its own restaurant with a great selection of food, so we didn't have to go out looking for meals; all three meals were covered.
If you're visiting Huangguoshu with kids, this is definitely the place to stay. It's a one-stop solution for family fun, making everything easy and comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Guest UserThis hotel is not far from Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The overall facilities are well-maintained, and the service attitude is good. The dedicated concierge was responsive. The breakfast was simple but filling. However, the shuttle service was a bit lacking. Since the hotel usually only has one vehicle for round trips between the hotel, the scenic area, and station transfers, the shuttle duties are quite heavy. Therefore, it's even more crucial to arrange the transfer order logically, especially for station drop-offs.
On the morning of my second day, I had a reservation for Shuilian Cave from 8 am to 10 am, so I pre-booked the shuttle to the scenic area. But when I went down to get in the car, the front desk told me there were guests who needed to be dropped off at the station, and asked me to wait a moment, which I agreed to.
On the morning of the third day, I had to catch a 10 am bus to Xijiang, so I specifically booked the shuttle for 8:20 am the night before. The concierge also confirmed my reservation. At 8:10 am on the third day, I contacted the front desk, and they replied that the driver was currently dropping off guests and would call me when he returned. At 8:15 am, we went downstairs early. The front desk then told me that there was a family ahead of me who hadn't booked but wanted to go to the scenic area, and because they were waiting earlier than me, I would have to wait. I informed them that I had booked the 8:20 am shuttle last night. The front desk acknowledged this but said they couldn't turn away guests who showed up. At this point, the problem was already evident. The hotel's website clearly states that shuttle service requires a two-hour advance reservation. Given this, shouldn't booked reservations be prioritized? The front desk then said that our two families could fit in one car and asked if we could go together, which I agreed to. However, because we were going in different directions, the other family clearly had no intention of letting us ride with them. The driver actually returned past 8:40 am. As soon as the car arrived, that family immediately rushed in and took the front seats. We had luggage, and the elderly person had difficulty walking, so it was impossible for us. The driver knew we were in a hurry to get to the station and tried to negotiate with them to let him drop us off first, but they refused to get out. At this point, the manager came out. After understanding the situation, he found another driver who finally took us to the station. He dropped us off at the Huangguoshu Tourist Center, and we arrived at the station around 9:50 am. We rushed over anxiously, only to be told we needed to go to another station to catch the bus. All this rushing left the elderly person exhausted. I had originally planned to arrive almost two hours early precisely because the elderly person had difficulty walking and I needed to factor in luggage and security checks, but I almost missed my bus due to the shuttle issue.
I have two suggestions:
1. Since your website clearly states that shuttle service requires a two-hour advance reservation, this rule must be followed. You can prioritize booked guests and then have unbooked guests wait in line for the next available shuttle.
2. The front desk should allocate reservation times reasonably based on the round-trip duration of the vehicle, instead of telling guests the car is still en route when their reservation time arrives.

Guest UserAlthough this wasn't the last hotel I stayed at in Guizhou, it definitely had the best service I've experienced so far – absolutely wonderful! When we went to Huangguoshu Waterfall, a staff member guided us through the express lane and even told us how to get back. Since it was a sunny day, we were pleasantly surprised to find our car covered with sunshades when we returned, and they even brought us water.

XiaodaiyuanyueThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations – it's a rare find!
I checked in on Dragon Boat Festival. The day before, I had a terrible experience at a certain four-star chain hotel in Guiyang, so I arrived at this hotel around 10 am to check in. To my surprise, they were happy to let me check in so early. During the process, the front desk staff, noticing my two large suitcases, proactively offered to have them sent to my room. This is a service even many five-star hotels no longer offer.
Upon entering the room, I was impressed by its spaciousness, easily over 40 square meters. The Manxin Mansion is nearby, and on the day I stayed, their prices were roughly double that of my room, yet their space likely couldn't compare to mine. The bathroom was unique with a double vanity and a bathtub – a rare design. The size of this room is comparable to the standard rooms in top-tier hotels within Guiyang, like Zhenpo. The bath amenities were the same brand as Pullman's, and even with most five-star hotels now using large, refillable bottles, they still provide individual small bottles, including four, one of which is a body lotion. The hand soap was also from the same brand. The drinking water was from Guizhou Hotel, which looked much better than the mineral water found in many chain hotels. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the bed size was also quite generous for a hotel of this caliber. The comb was of high quality, the kind you can reuse. The toothpaste provided with the toothbrush was Suke, which is a rare premium at this price point. They even thoughtfully provided a disposable bath liner for the bathtub, and the bathtub faucet was also perfect. The tea bags were a branded selection, and I even received complimentary welcome fruit.
Due to personal reasons, I didn't get to try breakfast, so I won't comment on it extensively. However, given the excellent condition of the room, I believe the breakfast wouldn't disappoint either.
As a hotel located within a scenic area, it's incredibly close to the entrance of Huangguoshu Waterfall. There are also many restaurants nearby, so dinner is never an issue. Honestly, I have to wonder, can a hotel at this price point really make a profit?
Immediately after checking in, I recommended this hotel to my friends. At this price, I don't think any other hotel can compare.

Guest UserTraveling with my parents and child, we opted for the family twin room on the second floor, which was much drier than the ground floor. Since there's no elevator, the staff kindly helped us with our luggage, and their service was excellent.
On the day of check-in, the front desk proactively informed us about the quick access to the Grand Waterfall. As we were short on time, we just dropped off our luggage and headed straight to the waterfall. I must say, it was incredibly convenient; if we had stayed outside the scenic area, we probably wouldn't have made it that afternoon or would have finished quite late.
The restaurant also didn't require advance reservations. We just ordered after returning from the Grand Waterfall. For a restaurant within a scenic area, the food tasted surprisingly good. Do remember that the express通道 closes at 6:30 PM, so keep an eye on your return time. The Water Curtain Cave requires advance booking, and you won't be able to get in if you try to book on the same day. We had booked ahead, and it went very smoothly.
The service was outstanding. At one point, I wanted to buy milk for my child, but the hotel car wasn't available. The front desk staff even offered to have a colleague help us get it, but we didn't want to trouble anyone and ended up not buying it.
For our return journey, we went directly from Tianxing Bridge to the Beer Plaza to catch our ride. The hotel even delivered our luggage directly to the Beer Plaza, which was fantastic.
Visiting during the off-peak season (not summer), staying inside the scenic area, and without purchasing VIP tickets, we still had a wonderful time. Highly recommended. The hotel was also running a travel photography event recently, offering three retouched photos. The photography was great, and there was no pressure to buy additional photos; even when we didn't, their attitude remained excellent.
For those traveling with elderly parents or children, staying within the scenic area is definitely more convenient. I highly recommend Qianshouju.

Soh Kien PengThis is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in China. It is newly opened just last year and the amenities and facilities are so modern and clean. It is relatively cheap at less than S$35/- per night and I booked it via Trip.com. Breakfast is provided. Although it is not the continental buffet, the noodles, eggs, buns, soya bean, sweet potatoes, vegetables, etc are equally nutritious and stomach filling. There is a washing machine and dryer near the lobby and the counter staff, Yang De Rong was so helpful and considerate that she hang up the laundry for us after the drying in order not to disturb our sleep. One of the staff even drove us to the entrance of Huangguoshu Waterfall even though it is only a short 10 mins walk to the attraction. During our departure, the boss of the hotel personally drove us to the coach station so that we could take the public bus to the high speed train station. The service is marvellous and I strongly recommend this hotel to visitors to Huangguoshu Waterfall. I will stay here again if I come again.

MeiyouniliangchenmeijinggengdaiherenStaying at Heyuan Hotel was a pleasant surprise! The accommodations felt on par with a 3 or 4-star hotel, but at a very affordable price. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, much like flight attendants. The location is excellent, right next to a tourist bus stop, yet it's wonderfully quiet at night. I read some reviews mentioning mosquitoes, but I didn't encounter a single one during my stay. I'd definitely recommend Heyuan Hotel to friends; its location right by the tourist bus pickup point at the Huangguoshu Scenic Area's Second Visitor Center makes it very easy to find.
