"The Wyndham Grand Yichang Riverside is conveniently located, just a few minutes' walk from both shopping malls and the pier for boat trips. All staff members are proactive, enthusiastic, and greet guests warmly. The hotel provides thoughtful touches like welcome fruit, handwritten cards, and local snacks. The breakfast selection is quite rich, and the swimming pool is good, with both dry and wet saunas. There's also a very charming tea room on the rooftop, perfect for a gathering with friends and enjoying the view. The only slight downside is that the hotel lobby entrance (likely due to limited space) requires guests to walk to the roadside for pick-up and drop-off, as ride-hailing apps pinpoint the roadside (though it's not far, it would be less convenient on a rainy day). The first time I took a car to the Wyndham Grand Yichang Riverside, the driver stopped by the road and said, ”You've arrived, it's on your right...” I was surprised at the time that the hotel lobby entrance was right by the road."

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and all the amenities were complete. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast offered a wide variety. "Strangely, this is by far the best hotel I've stayed during my 21 days travelling in China on a USD 100-125 per night budget. It has electronic face scanner at the door (for Chinese speaker only tho, or just use the keycard like me as usual) and in-room Ai (Chinese language only) and the room size is generous, high ceiling, very well-appointed and maintained. Bathroom is super clean (aka. no corner mould). They're a bit far from the Yichang downtown, but then Didi taxi is cheap in China so we just hail a Didi for meals. They also have free airport shuttle for my 5.30am check out. Will stay here again when I'm at Yichang."

"1. Hotel location is perfect as the Three Gorges Tourist Center is just diagonal opposite the hotel, and Wanda Shopping Mall is also just next to it. 2. The hotel is new, and the smell of the new wooden furniture is too strong and I guess that's why some of the doors of the unoccupied room (included mine) were open which I personally felt a bit uncomfortable as any guess may just step in to any room to do something silly. 3. I stayed for 3 nights, and 1st 2 nights was ok but on the 3rd night, someone checked-in and occupied next to my room, I was in the middle of my sleep and suddenly a piercing sound entered my ears, the sound last for almost 1 min and it seems not ending and so I contacted the counter to seek for help, the counter staff explained that the location of the toilet of room# 1310 is next to the bedframe of room# 1309, they can send me the ear plug for time being and let me change the room the next day. I told them I will be checking out the next day and I am not use to sleep with an ear plug, I hope the sound will end soon and I also tell the staff to escalate this matter up. During my check-out, the counter staff had asked how was my stay and I told her the incident too. I told her that I am not happy especially when the hotel said they can help me to change the room on the next day, my comment was if the hotel already know of this problem, so why are they still arrange guest to stay in room# 1310?? At the end of the day, I am being given some snacks and small souvenirs and 2 bottles of mineral water as compensation. My question to the hotel: why put the blame on the design/layout and not employee training?? Why you know this is the problem but yet still allow the problematic room to be occupied? For the seek of the reputation of the hotel, please shut down the problematic room until you fixed the problem!"

"My parents, kids, and I went on a trip to the Three Gorges, and we chose the Shuiyunlan Hotel because it's very close to the tourist center. We booked a river-view room and a family room for 4 nights, including breakfast. The hotel staff thoughtfully arranged for us to be on the same floor, in connecting rooms 1206 and 1207. The breakfast was plentiful, with different dishes each day, and my family was very satisfied. Special thanks to housekeeper Gao Yan. She noticed our wet clothes weren't drying easily and thoughtfully provided a drying rack, even hanging the wet clothes in a ventilated spot by the window 🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Our child's Mi Band went missing, and she also helped us find it 🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. And a big thank you to Front Desk staff member #1. When we checked out, we mentioned we had three children, and they kindly gave us three souvenir gifts. The kids were thrilled 🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. The whole family had a wonderful stay and a great trip! When I checked in, I was upgraded to the 1st floor. I sent more mineral water and oranges every day. The room is a bit small, the facilities are a bit small, and the luggage is not easy to put. Stayed at Taohualing Hotel for three nights. The scenic spots are not too far from the city. This is very convenient. The daily itinerary is not too fast. The tour guide service is also good. There is no shopping link. The lunch is 35 yuan at your own expense. This group meal feels better than before. The farmhouse tastes good, the ingredients are also OK, there are bacon, small fish and shrimp, local specialty fish."

"The room was great! I booked an Executive King Room and they upgraded me to an Executive Suite. The service was alright, but the environment was truly wonderful. You can get to the riverside park without crossing any roads, and the hotel lobby is grand. The only reason I didn't give full marks for cleanliness is because it was quite messy under the sofa. My child dropped a toy there and that's how I discovered it, as it was hidden by the sofa. Other than that, no major issues. The breakfast selection was a bit limited for 98 per person, which I felt wasn't worth it."

The room was spotless and newly renovated. It even had a smart assistant to control the lights and curtains, and play music – quite impressive for the price! A robot delivered our takeout right to the room, and the service was excellent. When I asked the front desk for a disposable razor, it was brought up quickly. The hotel is very close to Yichang East Station, with a free shuttle service that takes less than 10 minutes. You can see the high-speed trains from the room, but it's not noisy at all. The front desk staff were fantastic; when we had to catch a train from Yichang East Station in the morning, they helped us get a taxi directly to the station. It wasn't expensive, but everything felt high-end.

The service was excellent; seeing that we were two adults and two children, the staff proactively offered to add a tatami bed for us. The location is fantastic, right by Binjiang Avenue. In the evenings, a stroll along the river is lovely with the cool breeze and beautiful scenery. Just across the way is the Yiling Yangtze River Bridge, which you can walk across to get a panoramic view of both banks – majestic mountains on the south side and a bustling cityscape on the north. It’s only a few minutes' walk from the Wanda Tourist Center, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The local snacks nearby are also affordable. There's a free underground parking lot. Just contact the front desk in advance, and they'll send you the location. It's easy to find the parking lot by following the navigation. Thank you.

I was super satisfied with the hotel overall! The room was spotless, not a speck of dust even in the corners, and the toiletries were neatly arranged. The room had great natural light, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredibly expansive and pleasant view. The public areas were also clean and odor-free, and the service was thoughtful. My stay was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

This store is very hygienic and has a great environment. The boss and his wife are also very friendly. They also arranged airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as free breakfast. This breakfast really made me feel like I was back home. It was great. If I have the chance to come here again, I will go to this store instead of going there. Thank you.

I was invited to a friend's banquet here and truly felt that this hotel was chosen with great care! The all-in-one banquet and accommodation service was incredibly convenient and hassle-free. All the staff were exceptionally attentive and enthusiastic, greeting us with smiles throughout, which made for a wonderful experience. The hotel is located right in the city center, making transportation very convenient. The spacious parking lot has plenty of spaces, so parking was completely stress-free. The internal facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped – I was very impressed!

Choosing this hotel for our road trip was a smart move; the reimbursed parking was a thoughtful touch. The 24-hour front desk made check-in very efficient, and our room had great natural light and minimal noise. The self-service laundry room on the fifth floor was well-equipped, making it easy to refresh our clothes during the trip. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations.

Great location to catch local busses-which go everywhere. (Bus station platforms have a cash machine with dedicated turnstile to enter- look for it.) Easy/quick walking distance to stores/fruit vendors, even late. Reasonable walk to Yiling Square. (FANTASTIC restaurant up the street, taking a RIGHT exiting the hotel, walk up maybe 75 meters and it is across the street- modern design, bright lighting, excellent food, fun/awesome staff. Stores located in same direction); Very nice desk old lady, messages returned in reasonable time. Site has no English markings. Room appears to have been smoked in- scent of it, yellowing of all things- needs full cleaning and paint job. Bed otherwise comfortable. Bathroom adequate. Functional and affordable for solo male backpacker. Accessible to 3 Gorges Dam by going to the Tourist Center bus station, next to EAST HSR station. Local busses very useful, efficient, and cheap. I was able to get to the 3 Gorges Dam Tourist Center and return entirely by AMap Global app (essential in China) and busses, for less than $10USD.

The room is good, the location is excellent, and the price is good. The front desk is a bit unprofessional, the ladies are listless and expressionless, and all the sundries are piled up in a conspicuous place at the front desk, which looks a bit like a county guesthouse...
