Stayed here for 2 days. The staff were very welcoming and the housekeeping auntie cleaned the room meticulously. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. There's a washing machine and hot drink dispenser in the lobby on the first floor, which is really convenient for business trips or travel. It was an excellent stay that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

XirijunhuaThe hotel staff were incredibly warm and patient, proactively offering information on nearby restaurants and attractions. The front desk girls even insisted on helping us four elderly folks with our luggage all the way to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, and the restaurant's food maintained the consistent high quality we've come to expect from Hilton Garden Inn – rich and diverse. We've chosen this brand multiple times for our travels, and once again, it left a very good impression!

The lady at the front desk was very helpful, and the room was clean. We missed out on the costume photography experience though, as the photographers, who collaborate with the hotel, had already finished for the day by the time we arrived.

Guest UserFive stars, highly recommend the Echarm Hotel Yanji! The location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring local eateries. The lobby has a fantastic retro coffee shop vibe, and the room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. The bedding was soft, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in was efficient, and they were quick to respond to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive, and it offers excellent value for money. Both the cleanliness and service are impeccable. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Yanji, and I'll be staying here again on my next visit!

Guest UserFirst off, the location is super convenient. It's just a 10-15 minute taxi ride from Yanji West Station. It's also very close to the popular 'bullet screen wall' and Yanbian University, just a few minutes' walk away. I stayed for two days and walked past it several times. Since I was staying with my child, they even provided kids' slippers and toothbrushes, which was a nice touch. We were on the fifth floor, which was very quiet, and had a window that opened inwards. The room had an electric toilet and a full set of toiletries. There was no strange odor in the room. Eating out was incredibly convenient with lots of food and drink options nearby. Food delivery was also very quick, and they even had robots delivering orders. This was my first time staying at Atour, and it was a really great experience.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across the river from the famous Floating Market and adjacent to People's Park. The lobby is grand, and you need to swipe your room card to access the guest floors. The breakfast restaurant on the 24th floor offers a wide variety of options, with fresh sushi and omelets made to order. They even have original and red date/longan flavored soy milk. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the cityscape of Yanji feels fantastic! 👍
The hotel owner is Korean, so there are many Korean tour groups – about six large groups during my stay. The room amenities are well thought out: the curtains automatically close when you leave and the power turns off, which helps maintain the room temperature. The toilet only flushes *after* you stand up. Why do I specifically mention this? Because on my road trips along the 331 highway in Northeast China last year and this year, some hotels had toilets that flushed when you sat down and again when you stood up, which felt unhygienic and wasteful. This hotel's equipment is properly adjusted from the start. The faucets are also extended; if you've done renovations, you'd know these extended spouts are specially chosen. The benefit is that when washing hands or clothes, the spout is centered in the sink, so you don't have to bend over awkwardly. The mattress is also comfortable; I didn't check the brand, but a mattress that feels this good would cost around 10,000 RMB for home use. The tatami mat is particularly noteworthy – perfectly fine for one person to sleep on. The entire room is simply and comfortably decorated. My two-day stay was pleasant and relaxing. When I checked out, the hotel manager even gave me a small gift.
If the hotel wants to improve further, I think the quality of your bath products could be upgraded. The black packaging looks a bit low-end, and I preferred to use my own products because yours weren't appealing.
Exiting the hotel, turn left and walk uphill for about 5 minutes, and you'll reach the North Gate of People's Park. The hotel's first-floor restaurant, Ban Dao Xue Niu (Peninsula Snow Beef), is worth trying, and you get a 10% discount with your room card.

MLS755So glad we chose to stay at this hotel and area. It’s right in front of the folk garden, walking distance to many restaurants, museums, and dinosaur world park. The staff was very welcoming during our stay, including the cute delivery robot. The rooms are very comfortable and the rooftop terrace has beautiful views. Lots of pillow provided, high end bedding, and big beds even for a family of 4. We hope to be back!

I had a great time in Yánjí since I planned a lot of border excursions. I can speak both Korean and Chinese comfortably to navigate this region, which is also known as the Third Korea. The location of this place was great since it was in the city center across from Yanji University. (I was assigned room 1206.)
I'm not sure which photos they're using for advertising, but my room looked far more beat up and outdated. I also killed a lot of small cockroaches that were roaming around the kitchenette area. Again, this was not a big deal for me since they weren't ginormous, but one huge cockroach did appear one day near the bathroom. It's one thing for the room to look somewhat different from the advertised photos, but please at least keep the space much cleaner. (The laundry machine was bonus, but I had to buy laundry soap next door at the convenience store. This should have been provided considering there was an empty soap box on the floor next to the machine.) The reason why I booked this place was to do frequent laundry rather than stay at a hotel...
I traveled from NYC, so it wasn't like I was an average Chinese tourist from a domestic region. This was my first visit to China since 1996.05 and I used my 10-year China visa for the first time since I applied back in 2017.08.
Note: I checked out the other rooms on the floor and they were much nicer than what I booked. I'm guessing those were listed on WeChat and the less attractive rooms are listed on here, etc.
After I checked out by 12:00 noon, I stored my luggage next door at the convenience store for a few hours. They charged CN¥5/per hour… I paid CN¥15 since I knew 3 hours was all I needed before my flight.
