Guest UserThis smart hotel really shows the owner's thoughtfulness. Enjoying a hot tea and reading a book in the lobby was so relaxing. The yak hotpot for dinner was absolutely amazing – I ate until I couldn't eat anymore! I probably had about 5 bowls of beef broth.

MaoxianshenglvxingrijiAvoid the peak season and friends to punch in Siguniang Mountain, set Changpinggougougou Fangyuan Li 3300 French Mountain Residence, the location is excellent, it is very convenient to go to the scenic spot. Although it is a new store, the overall is well maintained. The butler service is online throughout the whole process, and the parking lot is answered. The large luggage is actively helped to carry. There are Hada, hot tea, welcome fruit and afternoon tea. The details are very warm.
Staying in the viewing pool twin room, floor heating, oxygen supply equipment, highland living comfort is full, toiletries are branded, Dyson hair dryer is a plus. The room has a good view, the private soup pool viewing experience is excellent, clean and quiet, whether it is a friend or a small couple to travel, the overall stay experience is full, highly recommended!

Crayon TravelsOverall
This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back.
The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10.
🏨 Room — 10/10
Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners.
🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10
Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept.
👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10
The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine.
📍 Location — 9/10
A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised.
🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10
The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings.
🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10
Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day.
🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10
The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy.
The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu.

Guest UserThe environment is absolutely stunning, with direct views of Siguniang Mountain right from the room. Soaking in the hot springs while enjoying the scenery is an even greater pleasure. The staff, both the young men and women, were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, providing transportation and a fantastic dinner. Plus, the room has an oxygen concentrator, which was super convenient and reassuring when experiencing mild altitude sickness.

andrez87We booked the deluxe room with valley view. The room is small than standard Chinese hotel rooms, but I assume the space in the valley is smaller, so rooms are more compact. The view on the valley is truly amazing. Smart toilet, smart curtains, bathtub with view and oxygen improver round up the amenities in the room. The staff is friendly. The breakfast takes place in the hotel nearby, so not offered directly on the spot (this was on may 2026, maybe it changes in high season).
Negative point are the parking area, which is a small common area behind the hotel (not private, so in high season could be complicated) and the cleaning of the room could be improved.
Good for 1 night, but I wouldn’t do longer.

The room was spotless, and from the window, I could gaze at Mount Balang. Stepping out into the courtyard, I enjoyed views of Mount Balang on one side and Mount Siguniang on the other – truly delightful. The owner and staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Since my elderly mother was with me and experienced some altitude sickness, the staff showed great concern and care. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. Considering we were in the mountains, the accommodation quality was excellent. Plus, their golden retriever and Mimi (the small dog) were both so well-behaved. Many thanks again to the owner for their wonderful service and good cheer during our stay.

Guest UserStaying at this hotel in Siguniang Mountain was such a pleasant surprise! The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, even proactively picking us up at the hotel, which was very thoughtful. The guesthouse itself is clean and comfortable, with unique decor that's perfect for photos. You can enjoy tea and listen to music, creating a really healing and relaxing atmosphere. I was even more surprised to learn that Li Xian and Yang Di have stayed here – that definitely adds to the experience! The attention to detail is excellent too; they provide oxygen equipment, which is reassuring for altitude sickness, and you can even try on ******* clothes. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit! 👍

This guesthouse is easily the best value for money in Siguniang Mountain! I arrived super late and couldn't find the place, but the owner was so thoughtful and drove out to pick me up. There was nothing open to eat in town late at night, so the owner even took me to get some BBQ. Seriously, what an amazing host! The room itself was fantastic – full floor heating, an oxygen concentrator, and a humidifier. All the facilities were complete, and it was spotlessly clean. The service was excellent. Plus, the owner's Ice Axe Cafe is super photogenic. Guys, you have to check this place out!

To all my friends thinking of visiting Siguniang Mountain, seriously, just book this hotel without hesitation! It's right opposite the Shuangqiao Valley scenic area! Parking is super convenient! You can literally walk straight to the entrance, and believe me, the national highway can get really busy with cars, making parking a nightmare. Plus, the hotel has central oxygen supply, which helps a lot with altitude sickness! There are also plenty of restaurants across the street with decent prices; I even had hotpot there. Don't think twice, just book it!

Extremely satisfied, truly excellent! The room I booked featured a huge floor-to-ceiling window with stunning mountain views. The little Golden Retriever, Tudou, was also super cute and had a wonderful temperament, happily letting everyone pet him, haha!
