"The B&B boasts an excellent location right within the Changping Valley scenic area. The rooms and the restaurant directly face all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain, with the 'Little Sister Peak' (Yaomei Peak) being particularly prominent. We were incredibly lucky to witness snow-capped mountains, a starry sky, and even a glimpse of the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan). The B&B rooms are well-equipped, featuring underfloor heating, oxygen generators, and humidifiers. The underfloor heating was constantly on, ensuring the room was warm the moment we stepped in. The decor was cozy, and each room had a private courtyard, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Although I didn't dare use the bathtub at this altitude, it seemed to be of high quality and very clean. A comprehensive set of good quality disposable toiletries was provided, along with complimentary snacks, beverages, and fruits. The B&B offers three meals a day. Breakfast was rich and varied; both the rice noodles and regular noodles were delicious. The Sichuan fermented tofu with plain congee was particularly excellent. On our second day, when we visited Haizigou where there are no dining options, they even packed us a simple lunch for free. The freshly ground coffee at breakfast was also a nice touch. The ******* hot pot for dinner was quite good and warmed us up. They also offered simple Chinese dishes and pizza. What truly stood out was the service – incredibly thoughtful and responsive. All our requests were met. They provided car pick-up and drop-off to designated locations, saving us the worry of driving on mountain roads ourselves, which was a huge plus for female drivers. They actively helped with luggage, bringing it directly to our room. On the day we checked in, we had first traveled from Jiaju to Shuangqiao Valley, arriving at the B&B quite late. We had pre-ordered dinner, and upon arrival, feeling ravenous, the kind lady at the front desk thoughtfully suggested we eat first and even offered us glucose water to prevent altitude sickness. They were always ready to answer any questions about sightseeing and transportation, offering helpful tips. Upon departure, they gave us small gifts and proactively asked for suggestions for improvement, humbly accepting feedback on the tastes of friends from different regions. Overall, the experience was fantastic."

"I was traveling alone to Mount Siguniang for a race and deliberated for a long time between this guesthouse and a Quanji hotel. I ultimately chose the guesthouse because I wasn't sure how I'd react to the altitude and hoped for better care if I experienced altitude sickness. I'm so grateful to the kind owners! While the guesthouse doesn't serve meals, they made me some of their homemade wontons when it was raining. The owner also drove me everywhere I needed to go. The room came equipped with an oxygen concentrator, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. All of this contributed to a fantastic overall experience for my trip. Highly recommended!"

"We booked the deluxe room with valley view. The room is small than standard Chinese hotel rooms, but I assume the space in the valley is smaller, so rooms are more compact. The view on the valley is truly amazing. Smart toilet, smart curtains, bathtub with view and oxygen improver round up the amenities in the room. The staff is friendly. The breakfast takes place in the hotel nearby, so not offered directly on the spot (this was on may 2026, maybe it changes in high season). Negative point are the parking area, which is a small common area behind the hotel (not private, so in high season could be complicated) and the cleaning of the room could be improved. Good for 1 night, but I wouldn’t do longer."

"The room environment was undeniably great, and they even upgraded us for free. However, after staying one night, I felt the experience didn't quite match the price. I'm not sure if it was due to a lack of staff, but it seemed like the same two or three people were doing everything from start to finish. This led to a less-than-ideal experience when there were more guests around. The next morning at breakfast, there was only one person handling check-outs, taking orders, and serving food. Also, when we were leaving the scenic area, we messaged and called the B&B before we even got on the bus, asking them to bring our luggage out early. But when the bus arrived, our bags weren't out yet, and the bus left without us. Since we were the last stop, the bus was crowded, making it difficult to stand with our luggage. Plus, it was a mountain road. So we had to wait for another bus, standing in the sun for about ten to twenty minutes. Overall, the room itself was fine, but it really felt like the shortage of staff led to a series of issues, making the overall experience just average."

"This hotel is right inside the scenic area, so the location is absolutely fantastic! The cleanliness is top-notch; the room was spotless and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. The biggest bonus was the oxygen concentrator in the room, which is a lifesaver for anyone dealing with altitude sickness. Plus, you can hop right on the scenic bus as soon as you drop off your luggage, no need to go back and forth. It makes exploring so much easier and more relaxing. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!"

"What started as an accidental booking turned into a wonderful surprise! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. The food, from breakfast to dinner and even the coffee, was superb! The owner also patiently offered itinerary suggestions and helped arrange private car services to attractions and the bus station. A huge thank you to the owner and staff for their 100% perfect service 💯. You can truly feel the owner's passion for life, which is evident in every corner of the inn. If I ever visit Changping Valley again, I will definitely book this place without hesitation ❤️."

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

We savored every moment, accompanied by the sounds of the snow-capped mountains and flowing streams. We felt gently cared for throughout our stay. This is an absolute must-stay, flagship room type when visiting Siguniang Mountain. The views, facilities, and service are all top-notch. It's perfect for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the mystique of the snow-capped mountains and rejuvenate their minds and bodies. Once you experience it, you'll never forget it."
