"The front desk service was warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were both quick with no unnecessary waiting time. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light. "The room was clean, and the front desk staff were polite. The overall facilities were decent, quite up to a local five-star standard. Since we visited during the Spring Festival, breakfast was delivered to our room as a set menu, and it was quite nutritious.
However! It was incredibly hot in winter. The heating was set to an extremely high temperature, making it unbearable. Even the short-sleeved pajamas I specifically brought weren't enough. The central air conditioning also blew warm air. Due to the high ceilings and lack of screens, we couldn't open the windows very wide. I couldn't sleep all night. I tried to turn off the heating, but couldn't (as someone from the north, I believe every room should have its own heating control valve, but not here). In the end, with no other options, we had to leave the room door open, with one person staying awake while the other slept, then swapping... We basically got about two hours of sleep that night. Another room in our group had the exact same issue.
I sincerely suggest the hotel adjusts its heating system. Even with central heating, as a hotel, you should at least allow each room to regulate its own temperature. Otherwise, it seriously impacts the guest experience and is incredibly frustrating!!!"

The bedding is very comfortable, and the room even has a bathtub. You can ask for disposable bath liners, which the kids loved using for a bath in the room. The restaurant downstairs was incredibly popular for dinner; we couldn't get a table just by walking in – you need to book a day in advance, so we missed out on eating there. However, the hotel breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious dishes!"

"The room was clean and tidy. All the staff at the front desk were very friendly and polite, always ready to help and even boiled hot water for us multiple times when we asked for it. "The room was OK and the overall environment was OK.
A few small suggestions:
1. The hotel with an average price of more than 400 yuan did not have conditioner. My hair was dry after washing.
2. There were a few men at the door one morning. It was a little noisy. Our room was very close to the elevator. The noise made me sleep poorly.
3. The towels were a little yellow? Compared with the towels of many big chain hotels, they were a little bit lame, but they were quite soft.
4. The mattress was hard. Maybe it was good for the waist."

jerry_hao4933The flight camp has a fantastic location, just over a kilometer east of the North Visitor Center of the Volcanic Geological Park. It has 10 rooms, all very new and well-equipped despite their small size, with smart technology and balconies. The service was excellent; the young man who greeted us was handsome and proactively helped with our luggage. The complimentary breakfast was quite substantial, including millet porridge, eggs, kimchi, fried dough sticks, and corn. The restaurant also serves full meals; we tried the roasted lamb leg, which was delicious, but reservations need to be made an hour and a half in advance. We originally booked only one night, but the stay was so comfortable that we extended it for another night. Room 01 offers a direct view of Volcano No. 3 from the bed, and the electric skylight in the roof allows for stargazing at night. Best of all, pets are allowed.

lienesadventuresGreat location just under 10-minute drive away from the Volcanoes Park North entrance. We arrived very late and the owner kept the restaurant open to make us some dinner. The breakfast was very tasty with several local specialties like meat buns, yoghurt pancakes, and their own free-range chicken eggs. It all appealed even to our Westerner taste buds! Our favorite breakfast of the trip! The property is not large, but it is very tidy and clean with a courtyard, lawn, paved walkways and lounging areas. The room was exceptionally clean as well - clean floors, clean bathroom and clean white sheets (which is not always a guarantee...). We had a spacious 2-storey loft which our kids enjoyed. Of note - the stairs are very steep to the loft. The beds were quite hard (something we have already come to expect in China), so we used one of the comforters as extra padding. While it was nearly +25 degrees outside, the air conditioning worked great. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

慵懒的小绒球The hotel's location is great, very close to the train station.
They have a laundry room, a gym, and a small play area for kids. It's not huge, but you can play ping-pong there, which is fun! The lobby also has a piano you can play, which is a nice touch and good for passing the time.
When we checked in, we were given two complimentary drinks and a bag of snacks. We munched on them, and they were really delicious!
The room was clean, the bed was large, and the view from the window was lovely, with a distant tower visible. Too bad I didn't take any photos.
The only issue I found was a slight smell in the shower area, possibly from the drain. When you flushed, it seemed to bring up an odor. But it's not a big deal; the room itself was still very good and clean. The downstairs restaurant was also tasty.
Oh, and in the laundry room, there's a machine specifically for washing shoes! We'd been walking in the grasslands for days and our shoes were quite dirty. We thought about washing them but were worried they wouldn't dry in time, so we decided against it. We'll definitely try it next time we have the chance!

The staff is very kind and professional, the hotel is fancy, clean, beautiful.
My problem was the extremely high temperature in my room. I couldn't adjust it at all, I was sweating all night. I don't know why some hotels in Inner Mongolia (I never experienced this in Yunnan, Sichuan and Shaanxi) turn on the heater so much.
The other disturbing thing was the lights that automatically turn on as soon as I set a foot on the floor. I see no need of such things, they just keep me awake. If I need some light, I can turn it on myself.
The town seemed to be pretty dead, only one shop was open at 7 pm. It wasn't so far away, so it's all right.
Anyway, it's a hotel that accepts foreigners without problems, so I'm glad I stayed here.

1. The location is fantastic, the rooms are incredibly clean, and the surroundings are very quiet.
2. The owner was incredibly kind. We couldn't find the hotel at first, but he came down to pick us up, which was very touching.
3. We were from out of town, so we asked the owner about local specialties, and he enthusiastically recommended local delicacies.
4. The room provided disposable bath towels and hand towels, which were very hygienic. They also included disposable toilet seats and bath towels, which was a really thoughtful touch.
I will definitely stay here again if I visit Ulanqab again.
