"As our base for our National Day road trip to the volcano, we considered several hotels in Ulanqab before finally choosing this one. Firstly, it's close to the volcano (a 15-minute drive), and secondly, the family room was quite spacious. We departed from Beijing after lunch, explored Ulanqab city, and arrived at the hotel late at night after dinner. The hotel was easy to find, and parking was convenient. The front desk entrance was under renovation, and without the friendly security guard's directions, finding the front desk might have been difficult, so a special shout-out to him! Regarding the rooms, the hotel is somewhat like a villa complex. Our family room was in Building 3, and we had to walk up to the second floor. The room was spacious and well-ventilated. The downside was the hot water in the bathroom; after one person showered, we had to wait an hour for the next person to shower, otherwise the water was cold. The hotel management should consider resolving this issue, as it significantly impacts the experience. To make matters worse, the power went out in our room late at night, rendering the landline useless. Luckily, we had a contact number on Ctrip to reach the front desk, and an electrician was immediately dispatched to reset the circuit breaker. Breakfast time is short; by 9 am, there's basically nothing left to eat at the restaurant. For a resort hotel, this level of breakfast and service time is unacceptable. They gave us two fridge magnets upon check-in, which was a nice gesture, but I didn't really appreciate it. Perhaps explaining why the hotel gives out volcano-themed fridge magnets would leave a better impression."

"My partner and I stayed here during our bicycle travels in China. The hotel was very generous holding a package for us for several months as we traveled from Xinjiang through Mongolia and back to China. They also held our bicycles for a week while we took a hiatus to Datong. The staff were friendly and Mark spoke excellent English and helped us a lot with arranging for taxis or other things that we needed. There are not any restaurants or really other businesses nearby - we needed to taxi into town for anything. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean on our initial stay. The pool was just a few lanes and the gym was pretty sparse, but both exist. The restaurant breakfast buffet was expansive but also expensive. It was better when the hotel was busy and the food turnover higher."

"Excellent stay! We traveled during the May Day holiday and booked a room in the VIP building. The room was very clean and quiet. There's a small park behind the building, which was lovely for a stroll after breakfast. The service was great; they even brought us a fruit platter in the evening. What I loved most was the breakfast – I highly recommend the waffles, lamb offal soup, and milk tea, they were absolutely delicious and right up my alley. The only downside was that the hairdryer was a bit old and slow."

Facilities: The whole house is smart home, which is very convenient, and the smart toilet is also very comfortable. Service: The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The meat buns, millet porridge, and yogurt pancakes were all incredibly tasty. You can also order à la carte for lunch and dinner; I tried the blood sausage, milk tea, and cold oat noodles, and they were all excellent. Since I was traveling with elderly family members and was concerned about them getting cold at night, I decided against booking a ground-level yurt and instead chose this 'Starry Sky Pasture' accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. First, parking was incredibly convenient, which is crucial for a group of five traveling in a 7-seater minivan. Then, we were greeted by charming Mongolian-style buildings, topped with yurts perfect for stargazing. The rooms were fantastic, and the owner was incredibly kind – he even upgraded our room because we were with seniors. The room was spotless, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and disposable toiletries were provided. The 'starry sky yurt' had air conditioning, so it wasn't cold at all. We could even watch the sunrise and sunset from the third floor, which I thought was great value! The restaurant food was absolutely delicious. We ordered roasted lamb ribs, mushroom with sliced meat, cold beef slices... and even some kumis. Wow, both the taste and price exceeded my expectations – so tasty! Especially the beef and lamb ribs, they were incredibly fragrant and highly recommended! The owner even gave us a small gift when we left, which was a very thoughtful touch. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends because I feel I made the perfect choice! It's very unique, clean, and tidy, in a great location with easy parking, and delicious food! The main thing is, the owner is wonderful!

The B&B's environment perfectly matches the photos online. If the weather is good, it's a fantastic spot for pictures – we even caught a breathtaking sunset during our visit! The lobby is stylishly decorated with a strong Mongolian cultural flair. They have a restaurant on-site, so all your dining needs are covered. With coffee, drinks, and hot springs, the facilities are truly comprehensive. The staff, both male and female, are very friendly and provide great service. It's truly one of the best B&Bs in the area.

Choosing this yurt stay for our family's self-driving trip to Huitengxile was an excellent decision! The biggest surprise was the cleanliness – the yurt was spacious, and the floors, beds, and bathroom were spotless. It was well-equipped, making our stay comfortable and reassuring. Their signature hand-torn lamb was freshly cooked and served, incredibly fragrant, and tasted amazing with the chive flower dipping sauce. You could really tell the ingredients were fresh. There were gentle lambs penned in the courtyard that our kids could hand-feed, giving them an immersive taste of grassland fun. Our children were excited the whole time. The owner was honest and kind, always available when we needed anything. The surrounding grasslands offered breathtaking scenery. It's a one-stop shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment – an absolute top choice for a family grassland trip. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

Im impressed by Atour group of hotels. This one located in Ulanqab didnt disappoint either. Its amentities, decor, cleanliness, service, bed, pillow and facilities are all top notch for a fraction of the price. It really puts Western hotel brands to shame. Almost anything that you could think of, Atour hotel has probably though of it already. They even provide alcohol wipes for sanitary purposes. There is even free self service laundry. Do yourself a favour, when you travel in China, skip the big western hotels and give Atour a go. You will be so spoilt that you wished other hotels has such service and amenities. Im only saying this because i booked Atour hotels by chance a few years back and now that I am back traveling in China, they are even better than before. Its also nearby the high speed rail station, so its convenient as well.

Very good! Although this solo trip to Ulanqab was not carefully planned, the food, accommodation, scenery, etc. were just right. Staying at Yaju B&B was beyond my expectations! The room faces the yard with a glass wall. The room is very cozy. The log furniture and warm lighting make people feel relaxed as soon as they enter the door. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and there is plenty of hot water, so you can fall asleep peacefully in peace. The front desk also thoughtfully prepared a local specialty breakfast, and the handmade rice cakes and freshly ground soy milk are amazing! It is a 5-minute walk to the volcanic scenic area, which is highly recommended to friends who want to experience a slow life.

The yurt-type B&B we stayed in did not have air conditioning, so we relied on the hot kang for heating at night. In a place like Ulanqab, it was too cold at night to take a shower. When we woke up in the morning, there was suddenly no water. It was said that the water supply system was broken. It was repaired, but we had other itineraries and couldn't wait for repairs. In the end, we had to spend money to buy mineral water to wash up. It was a very embarrassing accommodation experience.

Location: Very close to Huanghuagou Scenic Area, and a free admission ticket is included with your stay. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was so-so. Upon entering the room, I saw a long hair on the tea table, and there was a handwritten label on the bath towel – a bit odd. Service: The staff's service attitude was okay, but they were a bit overwhelmed with customers, and check-in was a bit slow. Facilities: I briefly set up the air conditioning for heating, but it wouldn't turn on; I'm not sure if it was a settings issue. The room phone wasn't connected; I had to find the number online to contact the front desk. There was no welcome gift upon departure, but they gave me one when I asked if I could take the toiletries kit. Overall, my experience at this Ji Hotel was just average; the details weren't great. I chose this hotel because of its location and the free admission ticket.

A wonderful and memorable experience in the grassland especially when the hosts are ever so friendly, helpful, and so hospitable. With their warm welcome and kind hospitality we felt like home. They upgraded our room for free so that we could experience staying inside a yurt. We are extremely touched by their generosity, too. We had a bonfire night too and enjoyed the fireworks on the Saturday night. The restaurant in this resort serves well-cooked, sumptuous meals at a reasonable price, considering that they are some 42km away from the nearest town, ZhuoZi Shan. Highly recommended to stay here as the environment is comfortable and peaceful. Although the water is not good for drinking, there are bottled drinks / water available at the grocery shops. Hair dryer, shampoo, soap are all provided too.

This campsite must be reviewed highly, it is so good. Facilities: It has just been opened for a few days, and the facilities are very new. The bedding is very clean. The boss actually uses mattresses in the campsite. It is so surprising, especially the quilt is super comfortable and warm. Hygiene: I am a person who cares very much about housing conditions, especially bathrooms and shower rooms. I didn’t want to take a shower in a public shower room, so I went to visit it first. After the visit, I was surprised that it was very clean, so I took a quick shower before going to bed. Take a hot bath to relieve the fatigue of the day. Here comes the key point: the service is great! The service is great! The service is great! Say important things three times. The boss and all employees are very approachable, speak politely, and communicate like friends. Especially the little beauty Rong Rong, who is beautiful, kind-hearted, super cute and polite. Generally speaking, the most amazing thing about this trip to Ulanqab is not the scenic spots, but this camping trip. As a first-time camping person, I fell in love with it every minute.
