"A friend recommended this hotel, and overall, it was fantastic! The receptionist was very kind and gentle, and she upgraded our room for free. The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere. "This time, my friend set a parent-child room. 4 people lived in a very comfortable room. The beds were quite big. There were prepared hot tea, fruit, tea set, drying racks, charging cables, etc. in the room, which was very convenient. The staff of the whole hotel are very good, and the contact is more Manager Yuan. Thank you Manager Yuan! Manager Yuan is very good, responsive, answering all questions! Thanks also to the master Jiang who picked us up to the train station, very enthusiastic! I had a lunch and buffet breakfast at the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very rich, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was great! We travel during the day, and we go to the gym to play table tennis, run at night, and have a blind box for supper to eat, praise! "The homestay is part of the ancient city, the environment and service are good, the anti-lock hole of the room is a bit inaccurate, it takes some effort to lift it up😅 Friends who drive by themselves, please note... there is no parking space, leave as soon as possible after unloading the luggage, otherwise the security guards of the community next door will force you to leave😂 The car needs to be parked in the school basement parking lot, which is an 8-minute walk away🅿️ Personally, I give it an overall score... 7.5 points"

"A very nice B&B. It was converted from a private duplex villa. It was recently renovated, so it still has a little wooden feel. The equipment inside is also very good, and there are many small items given that are very practical. The attitude of the store and the waiter was very good. We were almost over for the buffet breakfast. I asked if I could bring it over to wait for my family to come down. The waiter said that it was okay, as long as it was not wasted👏👍. The location of the B&B is very good. It is very close to the ancient city, a 5-minute walk away. There are many attractions in the ancient city, including Minzhu Street for dining, which are all very close to each other on foot."

"Nice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu"

"Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained."

"This hotel around the other courtyard has good value for money. Although it is a bit far from the villa, about 7 kilometers away, the closest one is about 3 kilometers away, so you need to drive anyway. The advantage here is that the room has a lake view, Dajin Lake is right at the doorstep, and parking is convenient. It is adjacent to the ticket office of Dajinhu Scenic Area, and it is also beautiful for a walk in the evening and convenient to Ganluyan Temple. There is a laundry and drying room on the roof."

GGuest UserWe booked Taining Shangqinggu B&B on April 6. The boss was very warm and called in advance to ask what time to arrive. After we arrived, the boss came out to greet us and helped us with our luggage. The mood of entering the room was beautiful. The room was clean and warm. I also prepared small snacks and apples and Dahongpao tea. It is especially worth mentioning that the breakfast is very beautiful. It can be said to be small and fine. The taste is light and delicious. It is not possible for ordinary homestays. I took a few photos specially. I will recommend it to them when I have friends in Taining.

The boss is very enthusiastic and provides breakfast in the morning. If you want to eat here at noon or evening, it is highly recommended. It is delicious and affordable, and the price is reasonable.

GGuest UserI originally booked a double room, but they upgraded me to a suite for free. The service was superb, and the cleanliness was impeccable, even for someone as fastidious as me. The room was completely odorless, and the bedding was incredibly fluffy and dry. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. 🫰🫰🫰🫰

GGuest UserI went to Taining for the first time and saw a lot of praise. I booked 4 standard rooms in Hantang Hotel. The rooms are bright and spacious, with complete facilities, separate dry and wet washing, clean and tidy; The breakfast is more abundant, with cakes, steamed buns, fried dough sticks, corn:, yams, noodles, milk, soy milk and porridge, plus eggs, fresh stir-fried vegetables, fruits, etc. for choice. Friends were very satisfied with eating and living, and stayed for another night. The location of the Han and Tang hotels is very good, across the river from the ancient city, and convenient to the surrounding scenic spots.

AAnonymous UserWe booked a 38-square-meter family room, but stayed in a 10-square-meter room. The inn didn't have an elevator, and climbing up was a bit of a struggle for us, a 70-year-old. The bathroom didn't have a toilet, just a squat toilet, and getting up after squatting was a struggle. Showering was done with the toilet lid on top, which was tiny. The shower head couldn't be adjusted, so we had to hold it up with our hands to wash. We had originally planned to stay and not move, but had no choice but to find another hotel. This one listed online as 25 square meters, but it was more than double the 38-square-meter size! I wish all businesses would operate with integrity.
