"This was the second hotel we stayed at on our birdwatching trip in Menglun. It was originally a backup plan because we booked the Wanglian Hotel late, but after staying there, we found it to be a hidden gem. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the west gate of the botanical garden and the suspension bridge, which is very convenient. We walked there from the botanical garden.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we were immediately greeted by warm service. The landlady was incredibly welcoming, and there were complimentary candies, snacks, and fruits for guests to enjoy while they waited – a very thoughtful touch. After check-in, you can add the service WeChat account to let them know the breakfast time and location, nearby restaurants, and the Wi-Fi password. The service response time is also very fast; my room had a problem with the TV's internet connection, and it was resolved within 10 minutes. I think that's impressive for the town.
The hotel facilities are relatively new, with a mahogany interior and ethnic style. The facilities are quite complete, and surprisingly, it even has a small gym – great! It's nice to get some exercise after a long day. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's sufficient. If you don't want to eat breakfast there, there are many snack shops and night markets nearby. For example, there are many Dai-style restaurants in the village within a 500-meter walk of the hotel, offering authentic local flavors that are worth trying. The hotel has a relatively large parking lot, making it convenient for tourists arriving by car. A small gift is given upon check-out, which is also a nice touch.
Overall, we stayed here for two nights, and our biggest impression was how incredibly welcoming the owner was. We were always ready to chat and provided a lot of information. If you're not particularly keen on the botanical garden night tour, this is a very good value accommodation in Menglun."

"I found this hotel by accident. It just opened not long ago. All the facilities are very new. The rooms are spacious and bright. The hygiene is very clean. The voice intelligent control is very convenient. The guy at the front desk is polite and friendly. It is a hotel beyond my expectations. It is very good! "The owners are incredibly friendly. The owner is a professional bird photographer, and the clientele here is quite specific, mostly focused on bird photography or painting. Every evening, he'd sit at the guesthouse entrance, sharing the day's photographic captures with guests. And the moment he'd hear a bird call, he'd grab a flashlight and enthusiastically lead us out to find nocturnal owls! 😇😇😇
The location is superb! It felt like we were practically staying *in* the botanical garden; incredibly convenient, like having it as our own backyard! Excellent value for money, I highly recommend this place! 🤓"

"This was the first hotel we stayed at after arriving in Xishuangbanna. The environment was very quiet and the greenery was beautiful. It's a pity we arrived late at night and had to leave the next morning; my family said we should have come earlier to visit the local markets, see the Buddhist temples, and go rafting. There were some small flying insects in the wooden villas, but in a tropical rainforest area near a river, I think it's quite normal and acceptable. If you can't accept this, I suggest not coming to Mengla; this place is all about returning to nature. So I don't quite understand people who give negative reviews about small flying insects; these insects fly in the air, they're not crawling on the bed. The hotel breakfast included local specialty rice noodles, which were delicious."

"The location is absolutely fantastic, making it the top choice for both night tours and daytime visits to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. However, the facilities are undeniably outdated; it's an old-fashioned hotel, and the breakfast is just average. Even for an old hotel, it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. The lack of charging stations is a major inconvenience, as you have to drive more than ten minutes from the east gate to the west gate to charge. But, if you're planning night tours and daytime sightseeing, I genuinely recommend it because you can directly access everything from the hotel lobby, which means more sleep! Despite the hotel being old, the service is prompt and the staff are quite nice."

"This time I went out to play with my friends and I was really satisfied with my stay!
It is very convenient to drive by car. Even if there is free parking, there are charging piles. There is no pressure to drive a tram.
The twin room we booked was very spacious, clean and tidy, and the living was particularly comfortable. The young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and the mineral water was free. The window is facing the football field, the view is particularly good, and the mood is getting better. The surrounding area is full of local specialty restaurants, there are many delicious foods, and you can rent a battery car and a small yellow car. It is also very convenient to hang out nearby. The overall experience is super good, highly recommended!"

"At first, I went in the wrong direction and went up the long stairs from the restaurant. The front desk lady came out to pick it up, and also helped to carry a box to climb so many stairs, thank you very much!
The room is very clean and the view is excellent if you book a river view room.
The hotel has an astronomical telescope, the child is curious, the boss is very patient to put out the debugging to let the child see the moon. There are also paid astronomical science activities, using more sophisticated instruments, there is a professional teacher to explain, but unfortunately I don't know that I need to make an appointment one day in advance, leave some regrets, come back in summer vacation!
After the check-in, the temporary notice said that the performance was arranged, which was really a surprise. It is said that if there are many guests, a bonfire party will be arranged."

GGuest UserI was too busy a few days ago and didn't have time to give a good review. I originally booked the one next to them, but when I arrived I found this store. I casually looked at the lobby at the door and decisively chose this one. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. Their hygiene is very clean, and the supplies they provide are of high quality. Even the paper is heart-to-heart. Generally, only star-rated hotels will control these details. It is really good and cost-effective. I will stay in this store often in the future

MM14225****I chose this one because unlike other homes, it is a modern room design, but the design of teak, very beautiful, the room is large, and the hygiene is cleaner than the average hotel. Hotel location is very good, located in the new district, nearby are all beautiful single-family buildings, there are several hotels, there are few people and cars, very quiet. Behind the hotel is the Nanla River. In the evening, you can take a walk along the river and walk to the Star Night Market. The hotel went out and turned left. It took about ten minutes to walk along the road. There was a rice noodle shop that was very delicious for many years. It is very convenient to take a taxi to other places for ten yuan.
The hotel staff are also very good, warm and friendly. In short, stayed for three nights very comfortable and very recommended.

GGuest UserThis hotel was amazing. It’s only a year old but the amenities look like it’s brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey.

SStanley The Travel ManThe hotel is closed to the bus station . It is also close to the hotel where you can take a direct bus to 望天𣗳. The food option is quite limited. The area appears dead. It is better to stay near the night market which is about 3 km away . That area is livelier and full of activities.
The hotel offers no breakfast which is a negative for me. The room is pretty basic. There is a low cocktail that you can’t use it as a table to have a meal.
There is not much to do in Mengle without a car. i checked out 1 day earlier because I think 2 nights is more than enough for a sleepy town.
The staff is helpful though . They offered good information about 望天樹.
The room is clean.I don’t remember if it offers any tea but definitely no coffee.
Overall, for the price that it charges, I don’t have a lot of complaints.

DDengxuemanFirst off, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect; it's just a 5-6 minute walk from the North Gate.
Next, the front desk service was exceptional. Upon our arrival, the hotel owner personally helped us with our luggage, and the front desk staff were very professional. The check-in process was smooth and seamless.
The breakfast was quite good too. For a hotel located near the botanical garden, it offered a surprisingly substantial spread.
Finally, we mistakenly booked a room without a window. When we inquired about switching rooms, the hotel generously offered us a complimentary upgrade.
Overall, if you're planning a trip to the botanical garden and intend to stay overnight, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The opposite is the garrison, next to the police station, the boss sleeps in the living room, very responsible, so that the guests feel safe; I have stayed twice, and the boss personally picks up the station and sends it off. It is very enthusiastic. It is not easy for couples to open a store. I hope the platform will encourage them, give them more opportunities, and take care of them.

The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was swift, and they even thoughtfully recommended some great local eateries. The location is also superb, making it very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be choosing this place again!

As soon as you step into the triangular house, the unique shape is eye-catching. The wooden structure is matched with large glass windows, which complement the surrounding rainforest. The sunlight shines in, and the light and shadow are mottled, which is beautiful. The facilities in the house are far beyond expectations. The bed is soft and warm, and you can sleep well all night; the independent bathroom is clean and tidy, hot water is available at any time, and the supplies are exquisite and complete.
The most intoxicating thing is the surrounding environment. In the morning, you are awakened by the crisp bird song. When you open the door, fresh air with the fragrance of plants and trees hits you in the face. Strolling along the rainforest trail, you can see lush greenery, encounter rare plants and smart small animals, which is fun.
The service is even more heartwarming. The staff is enthusiastic. They will introduce the gameplay in detail when you check in, provide help at any time during the tour, and carefully prepare rainforest specialties. You can also enjoy the gluttony on your tongue. Here, people and nature blend together, and fatigue is swept away. I sincerely recommend it to all friends who yearn for nature. Come here to start a spiritual journey!
