"This was the first hotel we stayed at after arriving in Xishuangbanna. The environment was very quiet and the greenery was beautiful. It's a pity we arrived late at night and had to leave the next morning; my family said we should have come earlier to visit the local markets, see the Buddhist temples, and go rafting. There were some small flying insects in the wooden villas, but in a tropical rainforest area near a river, I think it's quite normal and acceptable. If you can't accept this, I suggest not coming to Mengla; this place is all about returning to nature. So I don't quite understand people who give negative reviews about small flying insects; these insects fly in the air, they're not crawling on the bed. The hotel breakfast included local specialty rice noodles, which were delicious."

Every evening, he'd sit at the guesthouse entrance, sharing the day's photographic captures with guests. And the moment he'd hear a bird call, he'd grab a flashlight and enthusiastically lead us out to find nocturnal owls! ๐๐๐
The location is superb! It felt like we were practically staying *in* the botanical garden; incredibly convenient, like having it as our own backyard! Excellent value for money, I highly recommend this place! ๐ค"

However, the hotel service was truly mediocre, or rather, almost nonexistent, a far cry from what you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. Our package included a massage and a travel photoshoot. We contacted the front desk twice to book these, and they only registered our request, saying they would call us to schedule. Over our three-day, two-night stay, we never received any follow-up call. They also didn't proactively offer the small souvenir upon check-out. Compared to another hotel we stayed at during this trip to Xishuangbanna, the service was night and day. Disappointing."

"The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is about 50 kilometers from Jinghong city. Its East and West sections are quite large, and a full day isn't enough to explore everything. I'd read stories about botanists from the Academy before, so I made the botanical garden a priority and decided to stay at a hotel within it. The room rate I booked online included entrance tickets, which made it a pretty good deal for two people. After our rental car arrived at the East Gate, I called the hotel front desk, and they allowed us to enter. On the afternoon of our arrival, we explored the larger East Section's rainforest, which offered a stunning view of various rainforest vegetation. The hotel's restaurant was quite good; the local dishes at dinner were authentic, and I even saw family gatherings of XTBG staff โ quite a change from how their predecessors lived! The next morning, we hired a guide and toured the different areas of the West Section. All in all, choosing to stay at the botanical garden hotel made this trip incredibly rewarding.
Facilities: The in-room facilities met our needs, and the small balcony offered views of the flora and fauna.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: The botanical garden environment is unique and relaxing.

The large floor-to-ceiling windows, the sun shines into the room, as if back home, very comfortable! Self-driving parking is also very convenient, there is a very spacious underground garage. It is also very quiet at night. The front desk Xiaoyan sister service is warm and thoughtful, and presented a breakfast coupon to the child! Thank you very much here! "First off, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect; it's just a 5-6 minute walk from the North Gate.
Next, the front desk service was exceptional. Upon our arrival, the hotel owner personally helped us with our luggage, and the front desk staff were very professional. The check-in process was smooth and seamless.
The breakfast was quite good too. For a hotel located near the botanical garden, it offered a surprisingly substantial spread.
Finally, we mistakenly booked a room without a window. When we inquired about switching rooms, the hotel generously offered us a complimentary upgrade.
Overall, if you're planning a trip to the botanical garden and intend to stay overnight, this hotel is definitely worth considering."

"I initially went the wrong way, taking the long staircase from the restaurant. The receptionist came to meet me and even helped carry my suitcase up all those steps โ I was very grateful!
The room was very clean, and the view from the river is absolutely stunning if you book a room with that view.
The hotel has a telescope, and my child was curious. The owner patiently set it up and adjusted it so my child could look at the moon. There are also paid astronomy education activities using more sophisticated instruments and professional instructors. Unfortunately, I didn't know I needed to book a day in advance, which was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe I'll come back in the summer!
After checking in, we were notified at the last minute that a performance was planned, which was a wonderful surprise. Apparently, if there are many guests, they also arrange a bonfire party."

I was too busy a few days ago and didn't have time to give a good review. I originally booked the one next to them, but when I arrived I found this store. I casually looked at the lobby at the door and decisively chose this one. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. Their hygiene is very clean, and the supplies they provide are of high quality. Even the paper is heart-to-heart. Generally, only star-rated hotels will control these details. It is really good and cost-effective. I will stay in this store often in the future

I chose this one because unlike other homes, it is a modern room design, but the design of teak, very beautiful, the room is large, and the hygiene is cleaner than the average hotel. Hotel location is very good, located in the new district, nearby are all beautiful single-family buildings, there are several hotels, there are few people and cars, very quiet. Behind the hotel is the Nanla River. In the evening, you can take a walk along the river and walk to the Star Night Market. The hotel went out and turned left. It took about ten minutes to walk along the road. There was a rice noodle shop that was very delicious for many years. It is very convenient to take a taxi to other places for ten yuan.
The hotel staff are also very good, warm and friendly. In short, stayed for three nights very comfortable and very recommended.

Guest UserThis hotel was amazing. Itโs only a year old but the amenities look like itโs brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey. ๏ฟผ

Clean and tidy, not very spacious, but has a balcony for good ventilation. There's a food street diagonally opposite, and it's a five-minute drive to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Botanical Garden. The entire room features North American imported oak furniture with no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is reasonably priced and quite comprehensive, offering fried dough sticks, steamed dumplings, red bean buns, corn, sweet potatoes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, stir-fried vegetables, various porridges, fruits, milk, soy milk, coffee, and coconut milk. The special dishes are rice noodles and wontons. The staff are warm and welcoming, and parking is convenient.

The check-in speed at the front desk is fast, the staff is warm and thoughtful, and they also take the initiative to help me plan the itinerary. They recommend Wangtianshu Scenic Area and Manlongle to catch up. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was very warm, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I went to Manlongle to catch up early in the morning. It was like a food universe center. The Dai roast chicken, Baoba, and barbecue were all specialties, so I couldn't stop eating. In the afternoon, I went directly to Wangtianshu Scenic Area. I was very satisfied with the May 1 trip.

The room is quite big, very clean, and the environment is good. The opposite is the garrison, next to the police station, the boss sleeps in the living room, very responsible, so that the guests feel safe; I have stayed twice, and the boss personally picks up the station and sends it off. It is very enthusiastic. It is not easy for couples to open a store. I hope the platform will encourage them, give them more opportunities, and take care of them.

My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, truly like sleeping on a cloud. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was swift, and they even thoughtfully recommended some great local eateries. The location is also superb, making it very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be choosing this place again!
The ambiance was elegant, the room decor felt very cozy, and all the facilities were top-notch. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety to satisfy all tastes. Overall, it was excellent value for money.
