They gave us a card to easily enter and exit the botanical garden even before we checked in. And after we checked out, they gave us another card so we could go out, have a great meal at the botanical garden, and then come back in to continue exploring. The night tour activity was also very interesting."

"I booked a river-view room for two nights. The room wasn't large, but it was compact and adequate, not too cramped, and the facilities were sufficient. The hotel's design reflects a resort concept. I've been here several times before, and this time the room had been renovated. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The bedding was comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet, although the bed was a bit small. At night, I could hear frogs croaking and roosters crowing in the distance. There was a reading lamp by the bed. The river-view room had a small terrace with a pleasant view of the Nanla River. I mainly came here for the surrounding environment. There's a good Dai-style restaurant called Mikanhong in Manlongle Village nearby, which I always eat at, but it's the only one I visit. It's not very commercialized, so it's suitable for people who prefer peace and quiet. There are several villages within about ten kilometers that you can drive to explore. On weekends, you can go to local markets and eat delicious food. Showering was inconvenient; the water wasn't very hot during the day, so I could only shower at night, but it was fine by the next morning. The breakfast was average, but filling. The trash cans were small, not big enough for a resort hotel. Overall, it's a budget hotel."

"I went there around the Spring Festival, planning to visit Wangtianshu Temple and then take the high-speed rail to Kunming. This hotel was surprisingly the best I'd booked on this trip. The location was also great. The room was very modern. There were plenty of things to do nearby. There was free drop-off at the station, and the staff helped me call a Didi taxi, which was quite convenient."

"I came to this border town during the holiday, and the scenery is so unique! It's much better than I thought~ The hotel has an excellent location. It's a few dozen meters away from the entrance of the suspension bridge at the north gate of the botanical garden and then turn a corner. Entering is Baizhu Garden and Baihua Garden. I also took pictures of super cute squirrels and red-eared bulbuls in Baizhu Garden. Moreover, there are few people at this entrance during the May Day holiday, so there is no need to queue up. It's super convenient. Secondly, the hotel is newly renovated, the facilities and supplies are relatively new, and the air conditioner is actually Gree, which cools very fast (occupational disease is triggered hahaha), the hygiene is quite clean, very good, and the price-performance ratio is not bad! ! The boss lady and the boss are very simple and enthusiastic. The boss lady also invited us to eat blueberry passion fruit, thank you! The recommended Green Bamboo House and Shuishui Qingwang are delicious and affordable, which makes me like this town +1^o^ In short, this hotel is worth recommending! You can stay here when you come to the botanical garden! Menglun Town is also worth visiting. The Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is really an eye-opener. The strangler fig, parashorea chinensis, Victoria amazonica, etc. are all things I can't see in the inland. Amazing! A paradise for plant lovers~ In addition, we happened to see a lot of amazing Dai food on Sunday. We also went to the nearby Chengzi Village to experience the Dai folk customs. It was a very pleasant trip to avoid the crowds~ Happy"

"Xiyuexing Cultural Tourism Hotel offers excellent value for money. The location is good and quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the decor is simple yet elegant. The facilities are complete and well-maintained, and the bedding is very comfortable. The front desk staff and servers are all very enthusiastic! Especially the owner, who is humorous and handsome, kept inviting us to have tea. I loved the design of the tea room, with a magnificent large slab table in the center, which was stunning. We tried their tea, and the owner enthusiastically introduced their Yiwu Ancient Tree tea. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Mengla."

"The most surprising experience of this trip to Mengla was the Levande Hotel! It's right near the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and only a 20-minute drive to the Wangtianshu Scenic Area (the front desk lady was so kind to let me know there's a weekend market going on there—you can ride a shared electric bus to experience the unique local night market life). You can even see Dai villages along the way. The location is perfect! Another comfort and convenience feature is the hotel's free pick-up service (because it was already past 7 p.m. and I hadn't realized how hard it was to get a taxi. After waiting for half an hour with no one to respond, I realized the hotel offered a pick-up service and quickly contacted the hotel through the booking process. The driver was incredibly friendly!) The hotel room was even bigger than I expected! Over 30 square meters was plenty comfortable! The tropical decor, large windows, and cleanliness were topped off! The disposable bath towels were especially impressive: individually sealed, thick, and lint-free. Upon opening, we found a thick, non-woven fabric that's highly absorbent and lint-free (a reassuring thought for those of us who are particular about hygiene and attention to detail)."
