"First, the pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Jinshanling Great Wall, which is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The hotel's design is also visually appealing, with individual courtyards forming a small village. The standard rooms are designed in a traditional enclosed style with a courtyard, offering good natural light and ventilation.
Now for the cons: Firstly, some of the staff lack professional ethics (let's not even get into service quality). When we were checking out, we couldn't find a taxi. The concierge told us there was nothing they could do and we'd have to take an unlicensed car. Then, a male staff member offered to drive us for an exorbitant 600 yuan! Keep in mind, ride-sharing apps estimated the fare at just over 300 yuan, and a carpool would have been around 180 yuan! We later found out that there's a convenient tourist bus service at the visitor center near the hotel, which runs daily to Beijing Dongzhimen for only 80 yuan, but the staff deliberately withheld this information! Many international guests stay at this hotel; such responses would be a disgrace to Chinese hospitality! I hope the hotel takes this seriously and rectifies the situation.
Another issue is the hotel restaurant, which is quite a rip-off. The 78-yuan smoked chicken had a thick layer of coriander under it, with very little meat! In short, while the hotel itself is beautiful, the service ruins the experience. I've included photos, both good and bad, so everyone can be aware and avoid potential pitfalls."

"What can I say other than WOW, great farmhouse in a beautiful quiet setting over looking the Great Wall. Rooms were very modern, spotlessly clean with hairdryer and toiletries massive windows to look at the incredible view.
The food we had was delicious good price 86 yuan including 2 big beers. We also used there taxi to get to the water town and back to the train station.
They sell snacks and water at a very good price also.

"We were returning from a group tour to Inner Mongolia and decided to visit Jinshanling Great Wall on the way. We found Qingfeng Inn on Trip.com. It's clean, hygienic, and the environment is lovely. Both accommodation and dining are very convenient. The owner is super friendly; we were exhausted after coming down from the Great Wall, and the kids didn't want to walk anymore, so the owner even came to pick us up. When we left, they even gave us some cucumbers from their own garden for the road – truly appreciate it! Highly recommend staying and eating here."

"The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!"

"The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to visit the Great Wall. Chow his mother and his family and staff go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay. We had only 2 nights and woke up early for sunrise to club the wall and a chow helped us arrange everything. Tis section of the wall is with very few people, and truly magnificent seeing the sun rise. Absolutely loved it.
I was a single um travelling with my 2 children and the room was spacious, clean and the food was beyond tasty. They got me a little cake as it was my birthday and it was incredibly thoughtful and a lovely gesture. Thank you Chiw"

"We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section.
This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport).
The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists."

"I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm.
But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable.
The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He
eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station.
They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”"

"The room is in line with the price, some simple but very clean. The boss and the waiter are very warm and the service is in place. The dishes are also delicious and the children like it very much. The only thing that makes people uncomfortable is that they didn't say that they would charge when they helped send the ticket gate. I heard the proprietress say that after breakfast, I helped send the ticket gate of the Great Wall. After climbing the Great Wall, I asked me to call again. They came to pick it up. If they didn't mention how much money, they defaulted to the free service. As a result, at checkout, each person was 10 yuan a way, and we received 80 yuan for a big and three small back and forth. If you tell us in advance that this is a fee service will be better, we can have our own choice whether to accept this service. I should also ask if it is free first."

"Overall it's very good, less than 500, and it's very suitable to bring water park tickets for two mornings during the National Day Golden Week.
It is basically configured as a four-star hotel, with clean sanitary facilities and free parking. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable.
It is a 45-minute drive from Jinshanling Great Wall and a ten-minute drive from Luanping City. Highly recommended for a family vacation, but unfortunately I didn't get to experience the swimming pool. It's just that some guests are of poor quality and make loud noises in the middle of the night, and the room staff have given proper warnings, 🙏

Friends went to Anaya Jinshanling for a holiday together, did not choose folklore, but chose Lanshan Apartment Hotel. It turned out to be a very correct decision.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, big tatami mats everyone can lie down and chat together.
The service of the hotel is particularly good. Every staff member is very warm and gentle. Special thanks to Miss Gong Mengmeng who received us. Check in and add our WeChat, help us arrange the shuttle bus, provide tour and dining information, welcome fruit, supplement the materials in the room, Send delicious winter chestnuts, let friends not forget, really is meticulous warm care.
It rained on the first night, but fortunately there was a bowl of noodles in the hotel late at night, so that we would not be hungry.
The hot spring soup is next to the hotel front desk, the environment is very good, very clean and very comfortable.

The room is in the second phase, the loft homestay is in a good location, very close to the business district, the big lawn, and the No. 1 canteen. The owner and all the staff were very kind. The property is next to the park entrance gates, which is very convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset over the Great Wall of China. The owner also offers a transfer service to and from Gubeikou Station. The rooms are comfortable and warm. I highly recommend this property if you're visiting the Great Wall of China!

Amazing guesthouse and could not ask for better location to the Jinshanling Great Wall (1 minute walk away from the entrance gates). Very kind accommodating owner and staff, great dinners as well, comfortable room, and even pick up and drop off from train station. Perfect place to stay to see the wall, and the Jinshanling wall was absolutely amazing, and fairly quiet with less people. Highly recommend this place.

The room was clean and tidy. I took a break one day and didn't go out, so it was quiet all day long. The family members all agreed that they had a good rest at night and the quality of their sleep was very high.
The boss's own restaurant serves delicious meals three times a day, with large portions, fresh food, and good quality at low prices. The big steamed buns are delicious, and there are also fried eggs, fried mushrooms, tofu soup, pimple soup... The lady boss grows green onions and cucumbers herself, and every dish is delicious.
The proprietress is beautiful and enthusiastic. We have elderly people and children. The proprietress takes good care of both the children and the elderly. The boss heard that we wanted to climb the Great Wall to watch the sunrise, so he drove us to the ticket office at 4 a.m. for both days of our stay. Thank you.
This trip to the Jinshanling Great Wall was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend Cuijia Xiaoyuan.
Forget taking photos at the B&B, post some beautiful views of the Great Wall!
