"Love their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles. The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather. The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing. Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!"

"Location is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location."

"Our stay was absolutely fantastic and a wonderful surprise! The auntie (hostess) was incredibly warm and friendly, and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade, which was so thoughtful. Her home-cooked meals were delicious and authentic – we really enjoyed them. The room itself was newly decorated and spotless, with excellent facilities, and all the disposable amenities were well-stocked. The view from the window was lovely. Overall, our experience was perfect, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the environment is as quiet and beautiful as ever. The facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the breakfast offers a rich and delicious variety. The staff are also incredibly warm and attentive. "We started our Great Wall walk at the north gate in gubeikou. This guest house was very convenient for that. Gubeikou is a lovely village with a shop and a few restaurants. The owners met us from the taxi and took us to our room. Room very clean and warm. We were hungry and they made us homemade dumplings, very tasty. Nice shower. Kept our bags while we walked the wall to jingshaling and returned the next day to get train back to Beijing"

"A great guesthouse near the Jingshanglin section of the Great Wall of China. The rooms are very spacious and clean. There's plenty of hot water. The hosts are very friendly and provided us with a complimentary excellent breakfast. The lunches were also delicious and very affordable. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the park entrance, making it convenient for morning and evening photo shoots. We loved everything. If we come back, we'll stay here again."

"The room was very clean, and the hot water and air conditioning worked well. It's located a few hundred meters from the middle gate of Jinshanling, just a few minutes' walk from the scenic area. You can buy a second-entry ticket at the entrance. Arrive in the evening to watch the sunset and watch the sunrise in the morning. Dinner can be ordered at the guesthouse after you come down the mountain; the owner's home-style dishes are quite good. Breakfast is also available. "We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters."

"We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists."

"Friends went to Anaya Jinshanling for a holiday together, did not choose folklore, but chose Lanshan Apartment Hotel. It turned out to be a very correct decision.
