"The room was spacious and bright, with high ceilings, and a modern, newly renovated design with sophisticated color schemes. The staff were all professional and enthusiastic. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including local specialties, and the restaurant on the 28th floor had fantastic views. There were no strange odors in the room. The only minor drawback was sharing elevators with the H Hotel, which sometimes led to longer waits or crowded rides. Fortunately, you need to use a key card for the elevators, and the Four Points rooms are all on higher floors. The area downstairs was lively, and getting to attractions like Ziyang Street required a taxi, which was quite convenient."

"Newly renovated, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and even the toilet seats are heated, which is a really nice touch. From the second-floor balcony, you can see three towers directly, and enjoying a drink on the terrace in the evening is absolutely delightful. The guesthouse's location is also excellent; turn right and a 3-minute walk takes you to a local wet market, which has a wonderful vibe. Turn left, and in about 5 minutes, you'll reach Ziyang Street. Food and drinks are all within easy reach. Plus, the guide the owner sent us was super helpful. Thumbs up! I'll definitely stay here again next time. When we checked in, they even gave each of us a cup of grass jelly drink, which was a very warm welcome."

"The cleanliness was impeccable! There was no unpleasant odor upon entering, the bed linens were spotless, and the floors and tabletops were dust-free. Even the corners of the bathroom were perfectly clean, with no hair or water stains visible. "This hotel, touted as a must-stay for Shanghainese visiting Linhai, certainly lives up to its reputation! Or at least, that's what the book 'Linhai is Quite Interesting' claims. It says the building was originally a pawn shop, later transformed into a hotel named 'Yu Tong Feng' by a local owner with a passion for preservation. It remarkably survived the pandemic and has now become one of the two essential spots for Shanghainese tourists in Linhai – since I couldn't get a table at Xīnrongji (which has a 500 RMB tea fee!), staying here felt like a decent compromise. Ah, about the hotel's unique features – as soon as you enter the room, you'll notice them. The most impressive is definitely their bathtub. Just look at the size; it's practically big enough for three people, absolutely incredible! Backing onto Jinshan Mountain and facing the Lingjiang River, perhaps it allows guests to feel Linhai's complex relationship with water, even from their beds."

"The smallest room in the Kaiyuan Hotel I have ever stayed in, the double room is too small, especially the shower room and toilet. As soon as you enter the door, you will find slippers and wardrobe on the right. The toilet and shower room on the left cannot be entered when the door is opened. The shower room does not even have a place to put clothes, and the can use a dirty clothes basket to put the shower door. It can also be used, but the problem is that this is a double room not a big bed room. What about privacy? There is nothing special about the service. The star hotel service that Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai have lived in is the most sincere. Maybe his positioning is not a star. Disappointed."

"I stayed at this hotel for over twenty days on a business trip and had a pretty good experience. The hotel's surroundings are excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of dining options, including many local specialty snacks nearby.
The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and answered all my questions in detail. There's a laundry room and restaurant on the first floor; the breakfast was good, although the selection wasn't extensive, it was clean and hygienic.
The hotel rooms were clean and hygienic, and despite being a new hotel, there were no unpleasant odors. The rooms were well soundproofed, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. For someone like me who travels frequently, a hot shower and a good night's sleep after a long day of work are paramount.
Every day when I returned to the hotel, the front desk staff greeted me with warm welcomes and smiles, making me feel right at home. This hotel will be my first choice for my next business trip to Linhai."

The B&B houses are very unique, with views everywhere, which are very easy to photograph. At night, the decoration is more beautiful with lights and the environment is very good, so you can see the sky full of stars at night.
The boss's service is very good. He rushed to help carry the luggage from the parking lot to the room. Dinner was served at the B&B. The food was so well cooked that most of it was on CD. After check-out, we were given homemade flower rolls for us to take with us on the road.
The room is very clean. It is the cleanest among the many B&Bs I have stayed in. The various room facilities are also well maintained and not superficial.
All in all, highly recommended!

It's a pity that I only booked one day, otherwise I would definitely stay a few more days. This is the 20th homestay I stayed in this year, and it is one of the few that I strongly recommend. The food is also great. It's a pity that there is no latte, but the experience housekeeper made two hand-brewed coffees with different beans, which I loved. Thank you housekeeper, I also like all the atmosphere created by the owner and the boss lady. It's very comfortable, I love everything here, I will recommend it to many people, and I will come back to stay a few more days next time if I have the chance

GGuest UserThis is a new hotel within walking distance of the great wall and food street. Around the corner there are tons of eateries, you won't have trouble finding dinner here.
Check-in was smooth and the rooms are brand new and super clean. This hotel had the best breakfast I had during my 2-week trip in China. Great coffee, and it included local dishes and snacks (the seaweed filled cookies are so good!).
Staff was attentive, and would help you whenever they can, and you get a small token of appreciation during checkout (cookies!)
I wish I had a bit more time in Linhai, and this hotel was part of the reason!
