"Although it's a guesthouse, the overall facilities and service are beyond 5-star. The hotel is a renovated historic ticket office. You enter through a bookstore and pass a long corridor to reach the front desk. As soon as I checked in, the front desk upgraded me to a suite, which immediately made a great impression. To maintain privacy, the hotel has a security gate, and only registered guests can access the residential area with their key cards. That's another plus! My room was on the third floor, accessible by elevator. The room was very spacious, and the bedding was perfectly comfortable – neither too soft nor too firm. Stepping out of the room, you could see a large public terrace. Looking out, I could admire the lush, natural scenery of the distant mountains, which was absolutely refreshing. While the breakfast variety wasn't as extensive as a 5-star hotel, it was still very plentiful and, more importantly, much more thoughtful and heartfelt than typical hotel breakfasts. Many local snacks were carefully selected and ordered by the hotel, such as Wang Tianshun's seaweed cakes, an old brand's wontons from the market, Sanhe & Simei's fermented tofu, freshly fried mini fritters, and local noodles. The coffee was also excellent. Because the breakfast was so uniquely local and delicious, I ended up eating a lot every morning! The hotel's location is also very central. Longxing Temple, Ziyang Street, and the entrance to the ancient city wall are all nearby. There are also many local restaurants around the hotel, offering plenty of choices. Yet, the hotel itself manages to be a tranquil oasis in the bustling city, and my room was very quiet. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Linhai!"

"My main purpose for this trip to Linhai was to visit Xin Rong Ji, so I looked for hotels close to it. Initially, I considered a few B&Bs, but ultimately decided on a star-rated hotel. After staying for two nights, I realized it was a very wise decision. First, the hotel's location is excellent, not only close to Xin Rong Ji but also to the train station. My room was on the 26th floor with a great view and over 50 square meters of space. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub, and the toilet was fully smart, automatically opening when approached and closing after a certain time (though I'd recommend unplugging it or closing the door at night, as it sometimes opens inexplicably). The bed was quite comfortable, the TV was huge, and the room's layout was very well-designed. Both layers of curtains were fully automated and very convenient to use. We received a fruit plate when we returned to the room in the evening. The staff were all very enthusiastic and greeted us proactively, even offering thoughtful reminders to bring an umbrella if the weather was bad. We opted for the hotel's breakfast one morning; it was rather average, with limited variety and a mediocre taste. However, for a four-star hotel, the overall experience was very good. The hotel has a gym and a self-service laundry room, but no swimming pool."

"This was my first time booking a B&B, and I decided to try it on a whim. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were super helpful, even letting us borrow an electric scooter from the owner to ferry our luggage from the parking lot – truly above and beyond! Our room was spotlessly clean, and despite being on the first floor, there wasn't a hint of a musty smell. It was a scorching hot day, so we were really impressed and touched to find the air conditioning already running when we checked in. It was incredibly powerful! The bathroom facilities were also top-notch, featuring a smart branded toilet and a lovely rain showerhead. A huge bonus for anyone particular about hygiene (like me!) – both the bath towels and mouthwash cups were disposable! Loved that. Oh, and the clothes drying area was fantastic too, bathed in glorious sunshine. My child is already asking to come back next time!"

"This stay at Linhai was a wonderful experience. We went to the hotel reception desk hoping to change to a twin room, but they were very friendly and upgraded us. They also provided us with noodles and milk for dinner. They also promptly provided ice cubes for the bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. They even provided foot bath bags, allowing us to soak while enjoying the night view. This was the first pleasant surprise. The second pleasant surprise was the bowl of noodles we had in the evening. Having eaten too much at Rong Xiaoguan, we decided to try the noodles at the hotel. We ordered the vegetarian noodles, which were surprisingly delicious. They were surprisingly satisfying. Even with a full stomach, we ate one bowl and still wanted more. The breakfast the next day was excellent, combining local Linhai flavors with the standard amenities of most hotels. The taste was also quite good. The pool was not crowded during the day and looked clean, making it a great place for the kids to play in the water. Overall, the experience was positive, and I would definitely stay at Yuanzhou again when visiting Linhai."

"The guesthouse is close to Ziyang Street, and the free parking is very convenient. The guesthouse opened in August 2025. The room design and decoration are quite thoughtful, the bedding and cleanliness are good, and it's pet-friendly. The owner was especially welcoming, upgrading our room and providing reliable recommendations for local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and steamed, and delicious. When checking out, I forgot my iPad, and the owner proactively contacted me to retrieve it. A big thank you to the owner; this wonderful stay made us truly appreciate the warmth and kindness of the people of Linhai."
