"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Drum Tower, and some rooms even offer direct views of it. Downstairs, you'll find a lively bookshop street with a wide variety of local snacks. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff are incredibly dedicated and responsible, providing excellent service, which I'd like to commend. The hotel also has parking, which is very convenient if you're driving. In the room, there's complimentary Haibi soda, which isn't a knock-off, but a genuine local Henan product, so feel free to enjoy it. It's delicious!"

"I visited Kaifeng for several days in late April, just before Labor Day, and was quite satisfied with this hotel's environment, cleanliness, service, and facilities – it felt like great value for money. I especially liked that the rooms were spacious and came with a massage chair, a smart bidet toilet with heated seat, drawers, and a clothesline, which are features often missing in similar hotels. I also want to highlight that both the Western and Chinese breakfast options were abundant and delicious. The only minor drawback was that the air in the hallways and rooms wasn't as fresh as it could be."

"The room was spacious and well-equipped, especially the large bathtub in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. The cleanliness and service were good. However, the shower head was mounted too high and couldn't be adjusted. The bath towels and face towels were a bit rough and thin; I recommend replacing them with thicker, softer ones. The breakfast restaurant was too small, and at 9 AM, we had to wait for a table. I suggest converting the entire floor into a restaurant. The breakfast selection was average and could use more meat options."

"Overall, my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton was a bit disappointing.
I've stayed at many Hilton, DoubleTree, and Hampton by Hilton hotels in various cities, but this experience fell short of expectations.
Location: It's right opposite Kaifeng Museum, which is super convenient for museum visits. However, it's a bit far from other tourist attractions. On the upside, electric scooters are readily available there, making it easy to get around.
Environment: The shower in the first room I was given was leaking. After discussing it with the staff, they changed my room. A big thank you to the front desk lady who worked hard to sort it out – her attitude and service were absolutely 💯.
Service: Besides the initial 'hiccup' during check-in, on the second day, when we returned, our room door hadn't been closed properly. After speaking with them and confirming, it seemed no one had entered or left the room while we were out, other than for cleaning, and nothing was missing. Still, such an oversight made us a little uncomfortable. Thankfully, the hotel handled the issue well, so I grudgingly forgave it. Thanks also for allowing us a late check-out."

"We went for the Spring Festival, specifically for the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. The hotel is very close to the night market, and there's a bus stop right outside with a direct bus to the garden. The hotel and rooms are pretty basic, maybe a 2-star equivalent. The price was several times higher during the Spring Festival, but what can you do? Kaifeng has become incredibly popular in the last two years!"

"This is, hands down, the most convenient hotel for visiting Wansui Mountain. When you're tired, you can pop back to your room to cool down and rehydrate in no time – it's literally just across the road, less than a 5-minute walk. A special shout-out to the front desk lady, who was not only beautiful but also incredibly kind! She upgraded us to a family room and even gave us complimentary breakfast. After enjoying some authentic Hulatang, we could gaze at the Kaifeng Iron Pagoda and the East Gate of Wansui Mountain right from our window. "The classical garden design offers a new view with every step, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It was my first time staying here, and the staff proactively escorted me to my room, otherwise, it would have been quite difficult to find on my own. The room facilities are relatively good and it's very quiet, with decent soundproofing. The hotel breakfast is mainly Chinese, with noodles, wontons, and also bread, salad, stir-fries, and fried noodles. It's quite filling."

A serendipitous discovery: this amazing guesthouse! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its enormous garden – the lush greenery was beautifully arranged, creating a tranquil oasis in the city. Every snapshot was a masterpiece of ambiance.
The living room furniture was incredibly stylish, both in terms of quality and aesthetics, with tasteful details throughout. The room featured a separate bathtub and a huge terrace; at night, watching the light and shadows play in the distance was pure bliss – I didn't want to leave!
Even more delightful was the butler's attentive service. His gentle and considerate approach made the entire trip exceptionally comfortable. Located near Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and the Imperial River, the location is superb. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kaifeng, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

The hotel was quite good. The mattress was just right, not too soft nor too hard, and the pillows were fluffy and soft. The room had excellent soundproofing, making it incredibly quiet at night, allowing me to fully unwind from my travels and sleep very soundly. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and the hot water was stable with good pressure. The toiletries were of good quality. The hotel service was very responsive; any requests were handled promptly and effectively!

Guest UserThe property is nestled in a very sweet and lovely neighbourhood in Kaifeng. There are really amazing food places just a short pace away and some of the attractions, such as Kaifengfu are pretty close. It is only a 5-10 minute drive from Kaifeng station and is fairly easy to locate. One of the nicest things about this hotel are the people running it. The couple is extremely sweet and kind, always welcoming and hospitable. With my limited language fluency, I could not talk much with them but their presence made it easy. The room was sparkling clean when checking in, the bed was very comfortable, and a wonderful lobby to have tea or just hangout. One of the best parts about this property certainly is it's location: it's nestled in away from about 2-3 minutes walk from the main street and is in a very lovely compound of local houses in Kaifeng. If you decide to take a walk around the hotel's backstreet, you'd get to see some of the local residential areas in Kaifeng. I would certainly stay again at this property when I revisit Kaifeng. It was wonderful and only a short taxi drive or walk away from all the major must see places in Kaifeng. Highly recommended for solo travelers', couples, or families.

After a long search, I chose this hotel and was delighted to find its location absolutely superb. The room facilities were clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was less than a two-minute walk to the Yingbin Gate of Shangqing Garden. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right by the riverbank, and the evening views are especially beautiful. After a tiring afternoon exploring the garden, we could relax in the small courtyard and enjoy the scenery. Since we arrived quite late, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly welcoming. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat. Our first night was on the second floor, where we enjoyed the view from the balcony. Due to high demand, we extended our stay and moved to a ground-floor room with a small courtyard for the second night. Both rooms had their own unique charm. I rarely leave reviews, but I truly felt the owner's dedication to running this place, so I wanted to show my support.

The hotel's location is great, right next to Gulou Night Market, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you can see Daxiangguo Temple. It's also not far from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, about 2-3 kilometers, and a taxi ride costs less than 10 RMB. The room is exceptionally spacious and very clean, with complete facilities including a smart toilet, Tmall Genie (smart speaker), massage chair, bathtub, and a large projector. The hotel even provides bathtub liners, bubble bath liquid, foot soaking tubs, and heated eye masks. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can come back to the room, get a massage, take a bath, or soak your feet to relax. During the day, the lobby offers watermelon and small snacks, and in the evening, there are cocktails and late-night supper. The service is very warm and welcoming; whether it's the front desk staff or the cleaning aunties, everyone is always smiling and ready to help. I'm very satisfied with this trip!

The room is very regional and very clean. When traveling with children, you should choose a hotel with a clean and hygienic environment. The children were very excited and loved it. The service was also very good. The lady at the front desk was very gentle. The location is also very convenient, very close to the scenic spots. Breakfast is very rich and tastes good 👍

This hotel boasts an excellent location, with the front entrance offering walking access to Qingyuan Garden and the back entrance leading to Wansui Mountain. It's truly the perfect choice for families with children. The 24-hour shuttle service is incredibly convenient! The hotel seamlessly blends Chinese aesthetics with modern architecture, and the chrysanthemum theme beautifully reflects Song Dynasty artistry. The customer service staff are all incredibly friendly. The front desk receptionist, Ms. 22, was particularly warm and charming. We even received a complimentary upgrade to a double happy hour, so our two adults and two children could enjoy a lovely afternoon tea. The minibar was also restocked daily for free. On our check-out day, we were given a complimentary late check-out until 4 PM, which was incredibly thoughtful! The photography shop near the front desk also allows for advance bookings, offering makeup and a follow-up photoshoot for 698. You can first choose your outfit, then receive one-on-one makeup and a two-hour-plus one-on-one hairstyle session. Our trip was comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. It truly lives up to its reputation as a historic city!

Hanting Hotel is very clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. I particularly appreciate that all tables and chairs have rounded corners, which helps prevent accidental bumps – a very nice touch. Just about 200 meters east of the hotel, you'll reach Drum Tower Square, a lively area bustling with people and countless street food stalls. It's a great spot to enjoy the night views and savor local delicacies. For drivers, please note that the street in front of the hotel is a one-way street, only allowing eastbound traffic, so be careful not to drive against it. Furthermore, the hotel offers free parking in its rear courtyard, with the entrance located at the alleyway on the west side of the building. Be aware that the entrance on the east side (next to the soup dumpling shop) is for a paid parking lot (10 RMB during the day, 20 RMB at night).

Xiaodu voice smart guest room, it is very comfortable to watch a short movie and listen to music with Xiaodu. The table in the room looks like a traditional sewing machine, which is very interesting. The murals in the corridor are very regional culture. The dressing mirror in the room is very large and very good. The room space is large enough. The proactive service introduced how to get to the scenic spot. The lady at the front desk was very beautiful. Parking in the hotel was really convenient. The surrounding area was not noisy and quiet at night. The facilities were very new. It was a very good hotel.
