GGuest UserThe hotel service was excellent and very welcoming. The front desk staff even shared their personal travel tips, which was a nice touch. My only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the toilets to smart ones for an even better experience. The hotel's location is great, not far from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and Wansui Mountain. They even have electric bikes available for guests to ride there. The breakfast spread was fantastic and varied daily, offering a taste of Kaifeng's local specialties like Kaifeng Bucket Chicken, stir-fried pancakes, beef, and spicy soup. The large bathtub was very comfortable, and the room was quiet, making it a good choice for those sensitive to noise. The laundry room was spacious and had an outdoor area for drying clothes. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Kaifeng.

I immediately reported it to the front desk, and the lady at the front desk promptly responded and helped resolve the issue. Their excellent service is definitely commendable; keep up the good work!

GGuest UserThe luckiest thing about traveling to Kaifeng is that I chose this homestay! The location is simply amazing. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to the Qingming Riverside Park. In the morning, you can easily catch the first wave of admission to avoid the crowds. In the evening, after watching the performance of ”The Great Song Dynasty: Tokyo Dreams”, you can take a walk back to the room to rest. The room is clean and warm, the layout is full of Song Dynasty elements, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it is super safe to live in. The boss is warm and considerate, and also recommended super authentic food shops around. The cost-effectiveness is super high, I will stay here next time I come to Kaifeng!

GGuest UserAfter a long search, I chose this hotel and was delighted to find its location absolutely superb. The room facilities were clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was less than a two-minute walk to the Yingbin Gate of Shangqing Garden. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right by the riverbank, and the evening views are especially beautiful. After a tiring afternoon exploring the garden, we could relax in the small courtyard and enjoy the scenery. Since we arrived quite late, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly welcoming. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat. Our first night was on the second floor, where we enjoyed the view from the balcony. Due to high demand, we extended our stay and moved to a ground-floor room with a small courtyard for the second night. Both rooms had their own unique charm. I rarely leave reviews, but I truly felt the owner's dedication to running this place, so I wanted to show my support.

GGuest UserOur stay at the FunGee Hotel (Gulou Square branch) was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Kaifeng. The hotel is right in the heart of the ancient city, just a 5-minute walk from the Shudianjie Night Market. If you're driving, there's free parking directly opposite the hotel, and it's a convenient drive to places like Xiangguo Temple and Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden.
The hotel is a trendy design hotel that opened in 2025. The lobby is located on the fourth floor and accessible directly by elevator.
⚠️ The rooms are spacious and bright. Do note that for inner-facing rooms, the 'floor-to-ceiling window' looks out onto a wall and doesn't offer ventilation. The entire room is equipped with smart voice control, high-end toiletries, and a mini-fridge. There's a QR code by the bed for some complimentary items. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable, and the room is quiet.
The lobby offers 24-hour refreshments and drinks. During afternoon tea, there's an unlimited supply of fruits and desserts. Complimentary cocktails are offered every evening, and breakfast is served until 11 AM, with a good variety of tasty options. The front desk staff provided warm and efficient service throughout our stay.

DDaguoshibaniuI visited Wansuishan Martial Arts City during the Qingming Festival and chose the Mercure Hotel because it's very close by. Although the price was much higher due to the holiday, it was incredibly convenient.
Facilities: The hotel's facilities are considered excellent for Wansuishan. However, there was one particular annoyance: I could hear singing from outside until midnight, and it was quite loud. I later realized it was coming from the Wansuishan scenic area, but the hotel windows didn't have good soundproofing.
Service: The service generally felt good. What particularly impressed me was how delicious the Hu La Tang (spicy soup) was at breakfast, and there were many kinds of Henan specialty staple foods that paired perfectly with it, making for a very satisfying meal.
I would still choose to stay here next time I visit Wansuishan Martial Arts City because the location is fantastic; you can walk to the scenic area entrance in just five minutes.

The hotel is fully equipped and very new. The setting in the lobby and guest rooms on the first floor is thoughtful and intimate. The service of the staff is also very good, making people feel at home. Self-driving parking is free. Booked family room, the room is very large and spacious, the decoration is very warm and chic, there are two beds, the bed is very wide is 1.5 meters wide. In short, if you come to Kaifeng again, you will book again.

GGuest UserIt's amazing to find such a great hotel in the old city center of Kaifeng! 🏙️ The location on Zhongshan Road is absolutely prime, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in the heart of the bustling area. The parking lot is spacious, with plenty of charging stations for various car brands, so no waiting. The room service staff are fantastic – very responsive and always happy to help. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent too, ensuring a really good night's sleep. Seriously, this is the best choice out there!

GGuest UserThe environment here is great, and the sunken bathtub in the room is huge, making for a very relaxing soak. The hotel provides a shuttle bus that drops you off right at the entrance, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the Duanmen Gate of Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. However, the hotel's service left a lot to be desired. My daughter got sick and needed to go to the hospital urgently, but when I asked the front desk for help, their responses were incredibly cold and unhelpful. They said things like, ”You can search for a hospital yourself,” ”Call a taxi yourself,” and ”We don't know.” While I ended up arranging everything myself, their completely indifferent attitude was really off-putting.
