"Since it was the off-season, we received a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room, which was a wonderful surprise with its glacier theme. The stay included tickets to the Ocean Park, which was very convenient. There's a free shuttle bus right outside the hotel, and hotel guests also get free parking for their car when leaving the island. Breakfast was fantastic – varied and plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options. The hotel's overall decor is grand but not old-fashioned, and there's a gym and swimming pool. Our butler, Jin Jing, was also excellent; she promptly answered all our questions and thoughtfully helped us plan our itinerary. I highly recommend staying at the European Castle Hotel when you visit Hainan Flower Island; the experience was superb!"

"The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom which was huge, comfortable, and very clean. The view from the room was also great, covering almost half the island. We even received complimentary welcome fruit. The service was excellent too; I had two kids with me, and all it took was a call to get special children's bathrobes and toothbrushes. When we needed more water, it was delivered immediately after a quick call. The kids loved it too, and the pool even has a dedicated children's area."

"The Four Points by Sheraton Danzhou was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with excellent and modern facilities. The service was impeccable; the staff were warm and attentive. The food was abundant and delicious, with a wide variety for breakfast. The hotel environment was elegant and peaceful. "The hotel service is great, and we upgraded to a sea view room, which looks very comfortable. The room is simple in style, and the upgraded room also has a sofa recliner, where you can sit and enjoy the sea view. There aren't many types of breakfast, but the taste is ok. The front desk introduced the surrounding attractions and food, including the Millennium Salt Field, Happiness City and Yangpu Cultural Square. Finally, we went to the Cultural Square, which is close to the beach and has shopping malls, KFC and a cinema. It is very convenient~"

"Three of our friends were traveling and booked a family room. The price was not high and it also included three breakfasts. The price/performance ratio was very high. The hotel's environmental sanitation and facilities are good, and the breakfast is rich, including Chinese and Western dishes, and tastes delicious. The hotel is very close to the thousand-year-old salt field. After leaving the hotel the next day, we drove to the Eman Volcanic Geopark, Longmen Waves, Colorful Beach and other coasts. The scenery was pleasant and it took about 40 minutes."

"We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them."
