"Traveling with my family, the hotel was very clean, well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They even gave us tea as a farewell gift when we checked out. We booked two rooms, a king room and a suite that could accommodate four people. The hotel is quite large and built on a hillside, so there are a lot of slopes, making walking a bit tiring. Luckily, there's a hotel shuttle service available. You can call the hotel at any time, and they'll pick you up from your location. However, during peak hours, the shuttle can be quite slow. We visited just before Chinese New Year, and waiting for the shuttle after soaking in the outdoor hot springs was very cold, though it probably wouldn't be an issue in other seasons. The breakfast spread was excellent and catered to various tastes. Taking a morning stroll on the hotel grounds, listening to the birds, feeling the sunshine, and breathing in the fresh, negative ion-rich air, occasionally encountering joggers who greeted us, made for a very pleasant experience. The only downside was a slight musty smell when entering the room."

"Highly, highly, highly recommend! What a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious, and the outdoor terrace was absolutely fantastic. You can call the front desk from anywhere in the resort for an electric buggy pick-up, and they're super responsive. At 180, it came with 2 free tickets, making the room practically free. I was so impressed, I immediately booked another night. The evening bonfire party at the resort wasn't boring at all; we actually participated and interacted the whole time. All the amusement rides are like 'lite' versions, which is great and perfect for both old and young kids. You can buy an 88-yuan package for unlimited play for 3 days."

"This was the most delightful hotel of our trip! From the moment we arrived at the Yanoda entrance, we started receiving VIP service. Our room faced the pool and had a small private courtyard, which made it feel like we were in Thailand. The shower room was incredibly spacious, and there was even a washing machine with a dryer. The night exploration tour was fantastic; we saw tree frogs and tree crabs. The hotel also offers discounted tickets for various activities, and you can easily arrange a car to go anywhere. The hotel restaurant's prices are very reasonable; a coconut chicken hotpot for 200+ was too much for three people to finish!"

"We stayed here with our family, including elderly relatives and children, during the off-peak season. We had stunning views of Qixianling (Seven Immortals Mountain) from both the lobby and our rooms. The private hot spring bath was wonderfully relaxing, and they also have a swimming pool and a children's playground. Due to the lower occupancy during the off-season, breakfast was served à la carte instead of buffet, which was still quite good. Overall, it offered excellent value for money."

"A hidden paradise hotel in the rainforest. The lake water is emerald green and crystal clear, and the air is fresh and pleasant. Walking along is incredibly soothing. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The hotel itself is very nice, with clean, beautiful rooms that offer a stunning view. The Chinese restaurant is also very good and the quantity of food is huge! A huge thank you to the two ladies at the front desk, Lina and Xiaozuo, who were incredibly helpful. Housekeeper Lina provided exceptional service. The service is truly remarkable. It’s definitely worth returning!"

"The hotel was reasonably clean; not particularly new, but not old either. The hot springs and swimming pool seemed to be its main attractions, but I arrived late and didn't get to experience them. The hotel lacked a laundry room, which was inconvenient given the abundance of water sports facilities in Baoting. I chose it because it was the closest decent hotel in Baoting County to Yanoda (excluding hotels within Yanoda itself). Another thing to mention is that the hotel is located in a relatively isolated suburban area, resulting in a large number of very virulent mosquitoes in the parking lot. The hotel also charged a deposit of 300 yuan (or maybe 200 yuan), which is unusual these days. This negatively impacted the experience, as there were no valuables in the rooms, making them vulnerable to vandalism or theft. Using a deposit to restrain ordinary travelers, rather than those with ulterior motives, was inconvenient. However, the deposit refund was quick and efficient. Overall, if you plan to visit Baoting, I recommend staying in Sanya. It's not worth the hassle of staying in Baoting; aside from Shenyu Island, there aren't many other suitable options."
