"This leg of our trip took us from Dandong to Changbai Mountain and then to Yanji. Out of all the places we stayed, this hotel at Changbai Mountain was by far the most comfortable for the whole family. It's located right at the foot of the North Slope, and the natural surroundings are beautiful. They even thoughtfully provided children's toothbrushes, which was a nice touch. My child said the pillows were incredibly comfortable. And to top it all off, we actually got to see Tianchi Lake this time, which was incredibly lucky!"

"The service was incredibly warm, making for a fantastic experience. Front desk staff Yuan Yuan was enthusiastic and efficient. They offered free luggage storage and the shuttle driver was professional and punctual, providing excellent, worry-free service throughout. The location is superb, making travel stress-free. It's within walking distance to the North Slope Tourist Distribution Center and just a 5-minute taxi ride to the mountain gate, which is super convenient for catching the early view of Tianchi Lake. We were also right next to Edelweiss Park and the Wetland Flower Sea, and only 7.7 km from Changbaishan Station, with free shuttle service making things incredibly convenient!"

"This guesthouse was the perfect accommodation for our trip to Changbaishan. We stayed for three nights, and the biggest impression was how dedicated and attentive every staff member was, making every guest feel truly at home. The room facilities were excellent and very clean. A double bed plus a sofa bed was perfect for our family of three. The windows provided excellent soundproofing. My favorite part was quietly relaxing on the balcony every evening. The staff thoughtfully arranged transfers for us, including to and from the high-speed rail station, the North Scenic Area distribution center, and even Deer Park. The front desk prepared fresh cucumbers and tomatoes daily and recommended delicious Korean ethnic cuisine. Every evening after 6 PM, the hot spring pool in the backyard opened. It was so relaxing to soak there after a long day of exploring. The breakfast buffet was very rich, and everything was homemade by the staff. The guesthouse is located in Endu Village, near the entrance to the Chinese Merganser Park, making it very convenient for dining out and strolling along Erdaobaihe River. I highly recommend this guesthouse to every visitor coming to Changbaishan. It will satisfy seniors, adults, and children alike! It's perfect for family travel!"

"Standard room: No obvious hygiene issues, but the bathroom was a bit damp and the toilet seat cover was perfunctory and slightly undersized. Standard rooms didn't come with bathrobes, and neither did the deluxe suites. When I inquired, I was simply told there were towels. Also, the windows in the room could only be opened a tiny crack; they couldn't be fully opened, so I'm not sure what made it 'deluxe.' As for the public areas: The lobby was fine, clean and tidy. The elevators were incredibly slow to accelerate. One slow elevator might be understandable for a four-story hotel, but seriously, the acceleration speed made going up and down a real drag. Overall, even though it was peak season, with standard twin rooms at 770 and deluxe suites at 1011, I honestly recommend comparing other options, as this shouldn't be the only choice. In the end, it felt like the 'deluxe suite' couldn't really be converted into two standard rooms due to the sloped roof, so the facilities and amenities weren't significantly different."

"The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Most importantly, it was incredibly clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. It was quiet at night, and the hairdryer was powerful. For this season, it offered great value for money. It's not far from the transfer center or Changbaishan Station. A very satisfying stay. We had good weather and even saw the Heaven Lake – a perfect trip!"

"The front desk staff were very friendly. Someone contacted me beforehand to confirm my arrival time, and the shuttle service to/from the station was super convenient. I only remembered to take photos a little while after getting to the room, which was very spacious. It had a smart toilet. My only minor complaints are that the smart speaker (Xiaodu) was mounted up near the air conditioning unit, making it a bit difficult to use, and the TV remote was unresponsive. When turned on, the volume was incredibly loud, and no matter how many times I pressed the buttons, I couldn't turn it down. 😂 But it's not a big deal since I didn't really need to use it anyway."

"This was my first stay at an Atour hotel. I looked at many options near Changbai Mountain's North Slope and finally settled on Atour. The hotel is quite new, and the garden-view room was very spacious, equipped with a projector – which was a big plus for the kids, as they could watch whatever they wanted in the room. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is also very close to the Changbai Mountain North Slope distribution center. We left early, arrived at 7:30 AM, and successfully saw Heaven Lake."

"Stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic overall experience. Songtu Courtesy - Changbaishan High-speed Rail Designated Shuttle Service: There was a dedicated shuttle service, and the hotel contacted me in advance to arrange a time, which was very convenient. Environment: The hotel is located within the Enduli scenic area, boasting beautiful surroundings. The garden views within the hotel are stunning, and it looks especially gorgeous in the summer when the mist sprays. Facilities: The hotel is very new, and all facilities are excellent. There's a washing machine and dryer, and you can even check their availability on a mini-program, which is very handy! Service: Everyone from the manager to the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were incredibly friendly. They always greeted me proactively, and were almost always able to fulfill requests with a very prompt response."

"I highly recommend the Hilton Hot Springs Hotel near the high-speed train station! My stay was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. I booked a sunrise view room, and the view was superb. The room was also exceptionally quiet, so I slept very well at night. The room layout was designed with great user-friendliness, offering abundant storage space and a convenient flow for daily activities. It was a truly comfortable stay. A special shout-out must go to the hotel's hot springs! The facilities are comprehensive, with both indoor and outdoor pools. There's a rich selection of ginseng baths, immortality herb baths, and various massage pools, plus a sweat room. After a soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all the fatigue from hiking melted away. The staff in the hot springs area were prompt and provided excellent service. The hotel's overall decor and layout are very well-appointed, and the self-service laundry facilities were also very convenient – thoughtful details all around. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely choose to stay here again."

My entire stay was absolutely perfect, and what impressed me most was the service team. They proactively reached out before check-in to help arrange transportation, and at check-out, they thoughtfully reminded us about travel precautions. Our dedicated butler, Yuki, was incredibly attentive, and every staff member, from the front desk to the hot spring area and the Chinese restaurant, was wonderfully enthusiastic and considerate.
