"Changbai Mountain DoubleTree by Hilton, excellent service, skiing, and hot springs – highly recommend! They provide a dedicated concierge who helps with itinerary planning, offering a one-stop service. The complimentary access to Hongsongwang Ski Resort was great; my child played for 3 hours and had a fantastic time. The hotel is located near the old gate of Changbai Mountain, and the scenic drive along G331 National Highway offers stunning views. The hotel has its own volcanic hot springs. The experience of outdoor snow and hot springs is truly unique! It's definitely a top choice for a vacation to the North Slope of Changbai Mountain!"

"Very good stay here. The staff will contact you few days before check in to confirm your arrival as there will be driver to pick you up at the train station. Its free. The reception staff even helped us book Changbaishan ticket for the next day. So its very convenient for us tourist whom are not very familiar. Even booked the driver to fetch us to multiple attractions and location. Paid a good price. Very good driver. However take note which car the driver is driving as i paid a premium for a big car for two of us. Breakfast was alright nothing amazing. Location is very good. Walkable to Elderweiss roughly 10minutes away and to YungDing street. Can DIDI anywhere so cheap. Theres halal pull noodle in walking distance. So tasty. So near to Changbaishan Mountain north visitor center like 5minutes drive or 15min walk"

"Excellent service, very welcoming! I traveled during the off-peak season, and the hotel was kind enough to upgrade my room based on availability. The front desk was efficient and communicative. "This hot spring hotel is only a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, making it perfect if you don't want to travel far into the mountains for a soak. I highly recommend the outdoor hot springs; there are far fewer people than indoors, and it's not cold at all if you briefly step out of the water – just be careful not to get your hair wet. The breakfast selection was quite diverse. Aside from the hot springs and various perks, the hotel itself is pretty average. The room decor is very plain, there are no smart controls, and not even a smart toilet. The most critical issue is the terrible soundproofing; you can hear everything happening outside the door crystal clear."

"The accommodation and dining at Mei Ju were quite good, located in an independent building next to a small park. We chose a deluxe twin room with a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows facing the park, offering a nice view. The TV was large, but watching movies required a membership. The location was a bit far from the main street, so the front desk staff helped us contact the hotel driver to take us to the main street for 10 yuan, which was about the same price as a taxi and more convenient. However, the hotel's travel butler was a bit arrogant. We had called the front desk in advance to book a ride to the high-speed rail station. The next day, when we came down on time, the butler, with his nose in the air, said there was no such service. I showed him the ”hotel confirmation letter,” and he claimed it was a platform service and had nothing to do with the hotel. After some argument, and fearing we'd be late, we decided to call a taxi. Then he said that even though there was no such service, he could arrange for someone to take us. We didn't want this 'charity,' but we couldn't get a taxi on short notice, so we ended up taking his arranged ride. When booking a hotel, make sure to confirm whether the services listed on the hotel confirmation letter are actually valid, so your travel mood isn't ruined like ours."

"Service: The hotel's service, as always, was excellent. Staff reached out before our arrival to arrange convenient services like transfers. Upon checking in, the service was very attentive, making us feel well cared for. Facilities: The facilities have an 'old money' aesthetic and are generally very comfortable. I think my parents' generation would particularly love them. Julong Volcanic Hot Spring (unlimited access): The hot springs are a highlight here. Soaking in them after visiting Changbai Mountain was incredibly relaxing. It's a shame that many pools were under maintenance during the off-season, so we couldn't experience all of them. Overall, it's a great place for a vacation, and I especially loved the small teahouse by the ice spring – super chill."

"The bedding at Atour is, as always, top-notch. What impressed me most about this stay was its incredibly close proximity to the scenic area. The front desk lady was very kind and happily agreed to my late check-out request. The congee was delicious; having a bowl at night helped me sleep so soundly. Despite being next to the road, it was surprisingly quiet, and the soundproofing was excellent. If you're visiting Changbai Mountain, some rooms offer a mountain view, and the sunset is absolutely stunning. Staying at Atour feels like the perfect match when you're in Changbai Mountain. After waiting four days, I finally made it up the mountain, which wasn't easy, but thankfully, the hotel made it all worthwhile."

This is an excellent choice for a trip to Changbai Mountain. The bedding is comfortable and the facilities are complete. The service is warm and friendly, offering incredible value for money. The room is spacious with a separate wet and dry area. It's close to attractions and dining is convenient. The service is attentive, making for a comfortable and worry-free stay."

"The host was very helpful and kind.She picked us from a nearby hotel because our bus dropped us off there, which we really appreciated. She also helped us arrange a car for travelling around the area, making our trip convenient and stress free. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, providing a great place to rest after a long day. The location is strategic with easy access to nearby attractions & transportation. Overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend Leyman Hotel to anyone visiting Changbaishan."
