"There's no elevator, so carrying luggage up to your room can be a bit of a struggle. Also, the location on the map was wrong; it showed the restaurant, but the actual room was in a small alley, which took some searching to find. The staff were all very friendly, but with the language barrier, many things were unclear, like suddenly being asked to pay an 8 Euro tourist tax. The place was generally clean, but there was a bit of dust near the window and the floor wasn't spotless. However, I have to say the bed was really comfortable, and the location was very close to all the main tourist attractions in Belgium."

"We love the location of the hotel. All hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The lobby’s rooms are very beautiful and comfortable."

"My bunkbed didn’t have a curtain so I asked to change at reception. Unfortunately, I was changed to a bunkbed next to the door which was unnecessarily loud. On my last night there there was also a constant beeping that everyone complained about. It’s a clean hostel with a pub, which was pretty cool. My room was in a building separate to the pub. The kitchen was great with a cute outside area to eat. It’s a bit of a walk to the train station but there are buses."

"El servicio excelente, con el extra de que antes de la hora del check-in ya teníamos la habitación disponible. Ubicación excelente y los servicios compartidos con el Duke's Palace (recepción, desayuno...). Es conveniente saber que, aunque te llevan las maletas hasta el hotel, este se encuentra en un edificio con algunos escalones que se deben de salvar en los pisos superiores, pese a contar en ascensor, por lo que debe ser tenido en cuenta para las personas con movilidad reducida."

"When we arrived to the property, the hotel could not find our reservation. Gina at the reception was fantastic and she upgraded us to a suite with canal view! 😍 This room raised our expectations and experience of Bruges!"

"We stayed 6 nights, two of us. Location was outstanding right on the square near the city centre, ＜15 minutes from train station (with luggage it’s a bit unpleasant but definitely doable, paved paths and nice routes.). You can also take many buses to the hotel just one stop if necessary. Room was wonderful sadly I don’t have better pictures! Very cozy. If any complaint it would be that it was quite dark if it was cloudy or come night time even with all the lights turned on it was quite low lighting. Bathroom was clean and good water pressure. Tissues and toiletries. If you opted out of housekeeping for the day you would receive a voucher for a drink at the bar which could also be used for soft drinks which we found a very practical option. The biggest complaint was the breakfast for 23€ /per person per day it was not worth it. The waffles were quite hard and a disappointment. On a positive note: There was fresh juices and juice “shots”, a small selection of cereals, a yogurt bar, a salad bar, some fresh fruit (the apples had been squished in the container and had seen better days), some deli meats and cheeses, a hot bar of some standard breakfast dishes involving egg and potato and the lot. Service was lovely everyone was quick and polite! Overall very satisfied and if you already paid for breakfast no problem but if not I’d suggest you skip it and eat elsewhere. ❤️🇧🇪"

"The hotel itself is stunning, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. However, the room had a couple of minor issues. The shower head wouldn’t stay centered, causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. Additionally, the hair dryer malfunctioned, turning on and off randomly. Since I was only staying one night, I didn’t request a room change, but it was inconvenient. Despite these issues, I would stay here again because the main hotel facilities and staff were excellent."

"Laat ik beginnen met het feit dat de locatie geweldig is. Paar 100 meter lopen en je staat midden op de grote markt. Dat is echt geweldig. Kamer was prima. Gewoon goed bed, badkamer, wastafel en airco. Geen kledingkast en dat is wel een gemis. Dus min of meer wat je mag verwachten, niets bijzonders wat ons betreft. Wat slecht is, is de geluidsisolatie. Eerste nacht hadden we verschrikkelijk last van lawaai van de bovenburen. Enorm gebonk ook nog om 2 en 3 uur s nachts. T****e nacht werden we wakker van zeer luid gepraat op straat rond 6 uur. De ramen waren dicht maar leek wel alsof ze open stonden. En omdat er geen receptie oid is kun je dus niets doen. Of we dit nog een keer gaan boeken is twijfelachtig. Een goede nachtrust is belangrijk. We hadden kamer 205, aan de straatkant, die raden we dus zeker af! Volwassen kids hadden 107 en 204. 107 is aan de achterkant en had geen last van straat lawaai, wel beiden van de ”bovenburen”. Dus wellicht een tip om op de bovenverdieping een kamer te boeken aan de achterkant."

"Upon arrival, there was a slight disappointment regarding the parking. They charged €30 per night for their guests' parking, and I didn't notice anything about this being an extra paid option when booking. The room wasn't large but it was neat, clean, and had a good bed. We slept well. I did miss having a cup of coffee in the room; we had to get it downstairs, and of course, it was extra. The photo shows the view from our room; the hotel itself is across from that building."

"The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are spacious and airy. In this respect, the stay was quite comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good. However, when evaluated in terms of price-performance ratio, it's debatable whether it's really worth the price difference compared to other hotels. Regarding the staff, we had a mixed experience. Some of the reception staff were very polite and helpful, but some were unnecessarily rude. The bartenders, in particular, left a negative impression. The fact that the same person was in charge of both reception and the bar in the evenings also somewhat lowered the quality of service. Although we were told we could use the garden, it was unpleasant that they made a fuss when we wanted to sit there in the evening. Also, the fact that the same ashtray remained on the table in the garden for 3 days without being emptied created a poor image in terms of cleanliness. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the overall cleanliness either."
