ReyleeThe location of this hotel is fantastic if you want to be right in the middle of a lively area with easy access to the Myeongdong Night Market. It is very near to an MRT exit, but bear in mind that this specific exit has no elevator; you will have to use the nearest escalator or staircase, which can be tough with a stroller. Furthermore, because the hotel sits right on a main road, there is no proper pick-up or drop-off area, making arriving and leaving by car quite chaotic. Inside the room, there is no kettle provided to boil water, and the bathroom lacks a separate wet and dry area because the sink tap is connected directly to the shower head, leaving the entire floor wet. We also bumped our heads a few times on the low clearance of the double-decker bed. For laundry, it is not a self-service coin system; instead, a man who said he is the owner handles it for you, takes cash payment directly, and then enters the room to put the clothes back for you. Aside from this laundry drop-off, there was actually no standard room service provided throughout our entire 3 night stay. Beyond the room setup, the overall stay felt quite uncomfortable because it constantly felt like we were being watched, as the man appeared very frequently to check if everything was okay. Considering the high price we paid to stay over the weekend for such a tiny room, it simply wasn't worth it. I would highly recommend choosing a different area where you can get a more decent, proper hotel-level room for your money, especially if you are traveling with small kids.

JimRThe staff was responsive when I emailed them ahead that I'll be checkin in late. My ID card was already prepared in the front desk when I arrived. Loved that the hotel was so conveniently located near Myeongdong Station but still quiet and peaceful. Room was clean and I appreciated the universal outlet. Space was enough for a solo traveler, but I'm not so sure if enough for two people. Breakfast was simple but good to start the day light.

Guest UserPros:
It was my first time staying in a basement room, so I was a bit flustered, but it was just missing a window. The air was fresh, and it wasn't humid or dry, so the condition was really good.
The room was very spacious.
The floor heating worked well, and I preferred that it wasn't a carpeted floor.
The bathroom was also very large, and the pajamas were warm and comfortable.
The reception staff were incredibly friendly.
It was great to be able to take as much water as I wanted from the first floor.
There's an ice machine and a coffee machine on the first floor, which is nice. (Though it felt a bit awkward and embarrassing because the staff would stand up and greet me every time I passed the desk, haha.)
Although I didn't use it, breakfast is free.
I didn't hear any noise from other rooms, so it seems soundproofed.
You can store your luggage before and after check-in.
There's a CU convenience store nearby, and many street food stalls and restaurants, which is convenient.
It was convenient that delivery drivers could come right to the room door.
The location is good, close to the bustling area and bus stops.
There's a good speaker.
There's a very large TV with loud volume.
Cons:
The bed was too soft and didn't offer enough support, which caused back pain.
(Instead, the floor was spacious and clean, so I slept on the floor.)
There were two pillows; one was too high, and the other was a memory foam pillow that felt hard.
The hard memory foam pillow didn't pair well with the soft bed, which made my back and neck hurt even more.
Perhaps because it's a basement room, I heard the sound of water flowing from the ceiling wall all night.
Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would consider returning.

Guest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the staff were warm and attentive. I arrived 2 hours early for check-in, and they kindly let me check in early as the room was already cleaned. When I left, it was raining, and they provided waterproof luggage covers and umbrellas. What truly put me at ease was that there were Chinese staff members, making communication very smooth. She was very patient and warm. I highly recommend this place. The location is also excellent, very close to Myeongdong and the subway station.

SusuwI had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the convenient location to the excellent service provided by the staff, everything was impressive. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming with warm smiles, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The room itself was not very spacious, but it was still comfortable enough to open and organize a large suitcase without any problem. My favorite part of the room was definitely the toilet. It had an automatic bidet cleaning system, and the toilet seat was heated with a sensor that kept it warm whenever I sat down — such a comfortable and luxurious touch! I was truly impressed.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely love to come back again in the future. I will also recommend this hotel to my friends and anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Travel Around the World 88The hotel is in a great location. The rooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side, and the beds are quite firm and not very comfortable. The pillows are old and didn’t provide much support.
The service, however, was excellent—staff were very diligent, kind, and helpful. Guests are supposed to bring out their own towels and garbage, but they even offered to help with that, which I really appreciated.
They have free washing machine that was a plus!
Breakfast was good. At first, I thought it would just be bread and spreads, but they actually offer a decent variety that changes daily, which is quite nice for a small hostel. But you have to wash your own dishes after you done.
Overall, would I recommend it? Yes, especially for people who don’t mind compact rooms. Would I stay here again? Probably yes, but I really hope they improve the bedding.

Chin__I’ve stayed here many times, and it’s always my first choice when visiting Korea. The location is excellent, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There’s a direct bus to Hongdae, Seoul Station is just one subway stop away, and the airport bus stops right outside the hotel, making transportation incredibly convenient.

nomadsenseiThis was my 3rd time staying here. However, this time I realized it is really not a good value. I stayed at other hotels in Seoul and Myeongdong. And even the Single room is extremely small and uncomfortable. I only had a backpack and it is so difficult to maneuver and organize.
Unfortunately, both provided towels had stains. And instead of conditioner/rinse they had an extra bottle of shampoo. 2 bottles of shampoo and 1 bottle of body soap. TINY room on a weekday costs like an average APA hotel in Japan but almost half the size. Yet, towels had stains and conditioner is not provided ?

living as 2 friends here for a week was very comfortable. most importantly they have an elevator. the room has an electric kettle, hair dryer, hair straightener, mini refrigerator. they also had several water bottles and cups prepared in the refrigerator. around 4 pieces of towels and 2 bathrobes. two trash cans and two paper towel boxes. makeup desk with a mirror near the bed and another long desk with a computer. not much storage but it was ok for us to keep our stuff in our luggages since we were staying for a short period. the room had a huge TV with connection to the internet, a PC with a keyboard and headphones. the double bed was very comfortable but i wish they had separate blankets. the bathroom was clean and nice, wasn’t too damp like in other places i’ve been to. a toothpaste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were prepared in full size which was very thoughtful of them. they also have mirrors on the inside of the windows. outside the room they had a microwave for shared use. people at the reception were nice and friendly, especially one man that always greeted us with a smile. i’m not sure about the noise cancelling though. sometimes sounds from the hallway would scare us when the staff were cleaning other rooms, but it was still a pleasant stay. a couple bus stops and subway stations were in a comfortable distance from the hotel, there’s a bus that goes right to the Olympic Park from KSPO side. i recommend if you are looking for a place not too far from KSPO (40 min walk or a short bus ride).

Checkin starts at 3, I ended up there at 2:30, asked to wait very sternly, I said ya no worries I will and I sat on the sofa. But the guy who was supposed to check in, he was late and suddenly the women was now polite. The guy eventually came at 3:30. And was apologetic.
Funny how people can be apologetic if its their mistake , but ask them 1 more question hours later they become rude.
He spoke broken English which was hard to grasp as he was going really quickly on the do’s and dont’s but he was irritated at me for that.
Next day I saw him all in smiles and laughter to a westerner. And calmly explaining everything.
Rest, liked the location because its away from Myeongdang main street, so its calm while close enough to walk for stroll.
