GGuest UserPros: A staff member was always around (even if in the back of reception), spoke good English and gave us a pouch of amenities. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Big smart tv. They had underfloor heating. Unlimited water bottles. I think there was a coffee machine by reception too. We were impressed by how clean it was.
Cons: The space was a bit limited for 2 people, but we opened one of the suitcases on the sofa. There was only 1 big towel in the room, but the 2 smaller ones were still sufficient. Only 1 key card to share.
Despite initial worries because the price seemed too good to be true, there were no downsides. Pretty good value for money overall. We were worried it was a love motel but it was not the case. The alleyway wasn't bad or scary if you are walking from the main road, so I recommend that route if anyone was worried from other reviews. Make sure you copy the hangul/korean name of the hotel for maps/uber. It was a good hotel to stay at coming from Gimpo airport late night. Managed to order food delivery on baemin too :)

Positive:
-Price are reasonable or even cheap
-Room quite spacious for the price
-Neighboring area is quiet, you still can hear if people open door next to you but still relatively quiet for 3 days stay
-Amenities quite complete
-Have computer but really old
-Have TVs and lot of programs
-Have several type of Charger
-Have extended chord
-Have good water heating showers
-Toilet can be set to have warm seats
-Walkable to subway station
-Walkable to convenience store
-Room is very clean for Motel standard
Negative:
-When I came staff doesn't speak English. Even I tried to give google translate and ask her to speak in it she refuse. So I didn't get what I want to ask. So I just grab my key
-All rooms are non-Smoking. From the website of Trip.com I clearly order Smoking rooms (Staff need to update this information)
-Its stated that you can see city views from window but it doesn't (You can see pictures of neighboring building and also the window of each rooms)
From these 3 points I can't give full score.

Jjc ramonesI recently stayed at IF Hotel Seoul Nowon over the weekend, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations for the price.
The location is a big win. Nowon is a lively area, but what I really like is that it’s not overly crowded or packed with tourists. It feels more local, more chill, and less chaotic compared to the usual hotspots like Myeongdong or Hongdae. You still get that “happening” vibe, just without the stress.
Getting around is easy too. The hotel is close to public transport, and you’ve got CU and GS25 literally right next door. Super convenient, especially for late-night snacks or quick essentials.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Basic amenities like TV and a fridge are provided, but the standout feature for me was the LG Styler TROMM Styler inside the room.
This isn’t your typical laundry setup. It’s a proper clothing care system. You can refresh your clothes, remove odors, reduce wrinkles, and basically “steam-clean” your outfits without needing to do a full wash. For travelers, especially if you’re moving around a lot or packing light, this is honestly a game changer. It’s one of those small luxuries you don’t expect at this price point.
One thing to note: the hotel seems to cater more towards younger guests, and the check-in timing is a bit unconventional; typically after 10 PM. I didn’t realize this and showed up at 11 AM thinking it was a typo. But to be fair, the staff handled it well. I paid an additional 50,000 KRW for early check-in, and the process was quick and hassle-free.
Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable stay in Seoul that’s in a local, less touristy area, with a surprisingly premium touch like the LG Styler, this place is definitely worth considering. Just make sure you’re aware of the check-in timing so you can plan properly.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is truly excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the MRT station, and there are plenty of food options and convenience stores nearby.
However, the air conditioning unit in the room couldn't provide heating. In spring, when the weather fluctuates so much, heating is actually quite necessary.
Also, both the duvet and sheets had stains on them. I hope they check them after washing before making the bed, as the stains were very obvious.

JJadeyCA very small room for one, recommended only if you are travelling light with a small luggage as there is hardly any place to open the luggage.
This is my second stay here, and I still feel that for its location and rates, it's very budget friendly, includes a simple breakfast of toast, cereals, milk, coffee and juice too. Very near to the airport bus station to/from Incheon as well. They have a lift as well so no worries about climbing stairs with luggage.
This time round I also realized they have a laundry room on the 6F, though there is no dryer, there is a lounge space and drying racks provided on the 6F to dry your clothes.
Although the room and property does seem in need of better maintenance, it is overall clean and amenities like hair dryer/towel/toiletries are all provided.There is a water dispenser provided on every floor as well.
This room that I stayed at is probably the smallest one, and doesn't come with a fridge. There are hangers but noo hooks to hang up clothes unfortunately.
Nevertheless, I had a comfortable 3 nights stay and would still recommend and return for my next trip to Seoul.

GGuest UserThe bathtub drain was quite clogged, which was a bit of a struggle. However, the TV remote in my room wasn't working properly, and when I reported it, the staff were very helpful and resolved the issue. The room itself was comfortable and very clean. I also liked that they provided face masks as part of the amenities. Plus, the location near Sinchon Station was excellent, making transportation very convenient. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, especially considering the price. I highly recommend it.

LL377It was my first time in Korea during the National Day holiday. I traveled with friends for a few days, and then they returned home. As a solo female traveler, I saw the price was decent, so I casually booked this hotel for two nights without much research. Once confirmed, it couldn't be canceled! This hotel is only suitable for a one-night layover, not for shopping or leisure tourists. I'll break down the pros and cons below. Also, you can find this hotel's address on China's Gaode Maps and Uber can get you there, but surprisingly, South Korea's local Naver Maps couldn't find the hotel name... Unless they improve their luggage policy, or if you only have a backpack, otherwise, tourists should look elsewhere.
Price Pros: Compared to other options nearby during the National Day holiday, the price of this hotel was acceptable to me, around 290-300 per night. No other pros come to mind.
Transportation Pros & Cons: ❌ It's quite far from the subway. The nearest subway station is Sinseol-dong Station on Line 1, a 10-minute walk. If you're not good at using Korea's Naver Maps, don't just walk, because I once got lost...
❣️ Taking the bus is more convenient. The nearest bus stop is just dozens of meters away: Bomun-dong Community Center. From there, take one stop to Sinseol-dong Station Crossroads, and then take the subway from Sinseol-dong Station on Line 1.
❌ Check-in time: If you arrive early, you can't check in early. You need to check in at 7 PM and check out by 12 PM the next day. If you check out after 12 PM, you'll be charged separately for the extra time. Also, no matter how many nights you've booked, by 12 PM the next day, you have to pack your luggage and take it with you. Then, you re-check in at 7 PM that evening. If you store your luggage at the hotel, there's an extra charge, and it's not cheap – you could book a decent hotel for that price. Having to take my luggage with me was a major pain; I stayed two nights and dragged my luggage around for a whole day, it was exhausting.
Environment and Hygiene: I used my own towels and toothbrushes, not the hotel's. Rooms on the third floor are quite small. For those with no other options, choose a larger room on the fifth floor. Also, there's no deadbolt chain on the door, which made me, as a woman, feel a bit unsafe.
Later, I read other reviews and it seems this hotel might be a couple's 'love hotel'? That would explain the different check-in times and luggage rules...
