"I've stayed at three hotels in Hawaii, and this one was the cleanest. The room size was a bit smaller compared to other hotels, but it was fine. Since it was Christmas, they were giving out hot chocolate in the lobby, which was delicious.
It's very close to the beach, and the pool is nice and pretty, but for beach equipment rentals, you have to go to a place quite a distance away, not the hotel itself. That was a bit inconvenient.
Also, the pool water was a little dirty.
Using the washing machine here was great, as it was $3 compared to $6 at Marriott.
When I checked in, Japanese staff helped me, but I was a bit disappointed that they kept talking to each other in Japanese and didn't provide enough information about using the hotel facilities."
