"Our stay was incredibly satisfying and a pleasant surprise! The environment is quiet and spotless, with a stylish layout. Our room was clean and cozy, and the facilities were complete, making it perfect for families with kids. The guesthouse owner was also super enthusiastic, recommending many authentic local dishes and places to visit, which turned out to be excellent. The guesthouse's dog is incredibly smart and made our stay feel just like home. I've only just left and I'm already missing it. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit."

"I love Wenzhou so much, beautiful scenery, lots of delicious food, and nice people The B&B is very, very good. It is a small independent villa with a beautiful view. The B&B is in the village and you can reach the beach in 10 minutes' walk. On a rainy day, lying on the bed and listening to the rain is not very comfortable. The mattress in the hotel is also so comfortable that I fainted until the next day. The boss is really nice, provides good service, gives a lot of tips, and keeps asking us what we need! The breakfast is great, you can try the boss’s Buddha Jumping Over the Wall! Highly recommended! All thumbs up! I will come to play next time!"

"The hotel is quite old, and its facilities are very dated. The water around the overwater villa area was stagnant, leading to a lot of mosquitoes and insects. The most absurd thing was the mineral water policy: only two complimentary bottles were provided in the room, and any additional ones incurred a charge. I've stayed at countless hotels, and never once have I been charged for extra bottled water. Moreover, the breakfast selection was extremely limited. Although it was advertised to end at 9:30 AM, by 9 AM there was practically nothing left to eat in the restaurant. If you're solely interested in the overwater bungalows and can overlook these other issues, then this place might be an option."

"I rarely give bad reviews to family-friendly hotels, but Mermaid is one of the few in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area that deserves a negative review. On the first day, we arrived at 2:00 PM, but couldn't check in, which is normal; check-in was supposed to be after 3:00 PM. The front desk told us they'd give us two tickets to see the circus first, but we knew nothing about it. The circus tickets were supposed to be included in the package, not free. This gave a bad first impression; the front desk staff seemed untrained. When it came time to check in, even though I booked two rooms for two families, they insisted on giving us rooms far apart. I don't know how they arranged it? They even said they were already occupied. I'm speechless. We registered together as a group of two families, but I don't even want to talk about it anymore. On the second and third days, breakfast was served at 9:30 AM without any extra food, not even a salted duck egg. This happened for two consecutive days. On the second day, I specifically asked if they wanted more, but no one paid any attention. The restaurant was chaotic. I stood there for ten minutes with my coffee, unable to find a seat; all the tables were empty and waiting to be cleaned. On the last day, the kids were slow getting ready, and we arrived at the restaurant at 10 am. The staff at the door said breakfast was over and we couldn't eat there anymore... These staff members all seemed to be young, probably holiday workers hired by the school. Their manner of speaking really needs serious training. Oh, and about ordering takeout, I called the front desk and told them the delivery rider said he'd given the order to them and the robot would deliver it. The front desk replied, ”We don't handle takeout; the rider operates the robot himself.” So I asked the rider what happened, and he said, ”The elevator couldn't be used, so I handed it to the front desk, and they said the robot would deliver it.” This experience, this feeling—you have to experience it for yourself. No exaggeration, just my honest impression. I hope you can improve."

"This hotel is located right in the city center, next to Nantang Old Street, and it's only about 2 kilometers from the famous Wuma Street, which is super convenient. The rooms are great, and the breakfast offers a variety of Wenzhou local specialties; the glutinous rice was even better than what you find on the snack streets. Executive Lounge (double occupancy benefit): The afternoon tea selection was extremely limited, but dinner was quite good – simple, with most essentials covered, perfect if you don't feel like going out."

This hotel wasn't originally in our travel plans; I stumbled upon it on Trip.com and was instantly captivated, deciding to book a night as a little surprise for my wife and kids. We were very satisfied with the service, environment, facilities, room, meals, and coffee. If I had to pick one minor flaw, it would be the small handle on the inside of the bathroom door. After showering, my child couldn't open it due to it being slippery and called out, ”Mommy, help me push it open!” 😂"
