"This is a hotel with history. That is, old. There is a slight smell when you first enter the room, but you can ventilate by opening the window. It is very attractive that parking is free at a hotel located downtown, and since there were not many guests, we were able to rent out the large public bathhouse. The sauna was not operating. The view from the large bath located on the top floor is also quite nice. The hot spring water quality is very good."

"Interesting Japanese onsen experience. For western travellers is a nice way to get insight in traditional onsen culture. Food was so interesting at the restaurant downstairs. Recommend for anyone wanting onsen bath experience, peaceful stay by the water, great views. Really enjoyed cycling around the island using the hotel bikes."

"The hotel's location was excellent, about a 5-minute walk from the station, with a food stall village and numerous restaurants nearby. It was perfect for a business trip. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, I really enjoyed the Kagoshima local dishes like Satsuma-age and Keihan, so I'd say it offers great value for money. I was also incredibly impressed to discover that the hot spring was free-flowing from the source. The water quality was fantastic—it left my skin feeling smooth and warmed me up thoroughly. Plus, being able to choose from several types of shampoo and body wash made me feel like I definitely made the right choice with this hotel."
