The room is big and comfortably host 3 adults. We are pleasantly surprised to find a washing machine and other kitchen equipment in the room. Not to mention the walk in closet. It’s a full service apartment than a hotel room. The location is a bit far from public transport and attractions. However, the balcony with a fantastic sea view is to well worth the effort spent getting to the hotel. The hotel is also reasonably priced, considering that it was a peak season (summer vacation period).

I used JR INN for the first time. JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo has used it. I stayed at a railway hotel for railway fans, but I was impressed this time. From the single room I stayed in, you can see all the vehicles coming in from the top of Hakodate Station platform. If you thought you could see Twilight Express and Hokuto Star in the time of running on the bed, Cassiopeia came in. In addition, the timetable is posted on the top floor bath, and the train is seen while bathing. There are many books related to the railway in the rest place, and you can know the history of the railway in Hokkaido. At the entrance of the hotel, there is a head mark such as Hokuto star, and the track is drawn on the floor, and it is a hotel that is not able to be caught in the railway mania from the moment when it enters. It is conveniently located in front of the station or in the station, and from the opposite room, Hakodate mountain can be seen, and I thought it was a good hotel other than railway fans.

We stayed at Century Marina for our first night in Hokkaido and originally chose it for its proximity to most of the sites we wanted to see in Hakodate. It's just a few minute walk from the train station with plenty of sidewalks so pulling our suitcases was no issue. The hotel also has a large parking lot if you choose to drive. It's also just a few minute walk from the warehouse district and the older area up the hill where a lot of historical embassies and churches are. The hotel's breakfast buffet is an experience itself with an extensive spread of both Japanese and Western food options. You will reserve a time slot when checking in, but even then you should expect a 10-20 minute wait in the morning to get your table, so its best to go up before your reserved time. This hotel also has one of the best rooftop onsen I've seen, with wonderful views of the whole marina and hill. When booking I didn't realize there was a hot springs so this was a nice surprise. Our room was right next to the elevator but very quiet and clean. This is a newer hotel too so everything felt very fresh and well-maintained. We checked in using Japanese, but the hotel has check-in info packets and signs in English so this is a good option for non-Japanese speaking guests as well.

I used it for the first time. A luxury hotel, breakfast is a special mention! We chose Japanese food in Azeria for the first night 1 and Matsumae for the second night. At the buffet, there was a heap of salmon roe that I had never seen before, and I was able to make a super gorgeous seafood bowl, which was really amazing. 2 Matsumae on the night was also a very nice set, and I chose the salmon roe set, but this is also super satisfying. My friend was Hitsumabushi set, which looked very delicious! The room was large and well maintained, and it was good because it had a long-established style plus modern functionality.

I recently stayed at a hotel that truly impressed me. The facilities were spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was abundant and of top quality, providing a great start to my days. The on-site hot springs were a soothing treat, perfect for relaxation. The service was attentive and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Plus, the room offered a breathtaking view, which added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and exceptional service.

This hotel is located at the Yunokawa area in Hakodate. It's reachable within 20 minutes from Hakodate bus terminal. There are three buses serving this area: 95, 95A and 96. There is also a direct bus from/to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station with a fee of ¥900/person/way. We booked a Japanese-style room with a private onsen bath facing the ocean. The view is beyond our expectation. The room is super spacious - consisting of the entrance area, sleeping area, living room, a toilet, and bath area. They are still using the actual key instead of keycards. They served some snacks, tea, free beers, bottled water and cold tea. The room we booked also provided halfboard (dinner and breakfast). The food was amazing with many varieties, including our favourites - king crabs. All was served in a buffet style so you can eat this crab as much as you want.

It was a nostalgic inn full of Showa retro feeling. It is very beautiful, but it is not temperate and can relax. The meal and bath were very good, but there was no feeling of pulling out of the group. I was worried about the room on the 2 floor of the cherry blossoms, but the strange smell was full. I opened the window and turned the air cleaner, but I was worried until the morning. Isn't Haori washed every time? I didn't use it because I smelled like someone worn? The cloth on the edge of the chair was broken, the menu file on the seat table was broken, and it was quite old. The small place was able to maintain every time ... and it was a pity. The cosmetic water and emulsion with a straw are dry enough to not be used at all. I think it's better to bring your own. I had a pack plan like a lady set, so I followed the amenities separately, but I needed the morning because it was one time. I don't notice at first glance, but I was sorry that I entered the entrance and had a cardboard in the back of my right hand. The garden from the window of the cherry blossom room is peeled off or a pity. The view from the lobby was nice. Good point The staff are very friendly and helpful. The garbage is always cleaned cleanly enough to not fall one garbage. From the bus stop of the shuttle bus from the airport, it is within walking distance of the city tram station. Because the bus was suspended during the declaration of emergency, I went to the Trapistinne Abbey for about 1500 yen by taxi. I felt a lot closer from around Hakodate station.

Hhairy17Each guest room will have a personal attendant who helped to serve dinner and attend to you needs. The dinner was good, portion was generous. Onsen was cosy and nice. Place looks very clean and not old at all even though its 50 years old. Onsen had indoor and outdoor. The area is not big, just a standard onsen. Place is not very touristy, more of locals who visit the place. Quiet and cosy, away from city life. Near the residential area which is quiet. After dinner, they help to arrange the futon for us :) Room was VERY BIGGG Breakfast had some repeated dishes and was not as amazing as dinner, but overall still a good stay.

GGuest UserI stayed overnight with my wife. I could see the Tsugaru Strait from the room. It was cloudy, but I understood the wonderfulness of the location. The food was really good. The seafood was fresh and the food presentation was great. I was also happy that the mini bottle of the festival was included free of charge in the reservation plan. There was a semi-open-air bath in the large communal bath. It was nice to see the Tsugaru Strait from here. The staff at the inn, including Mr. Nakai, served the guests very politely. The stay at this inn was very comfortable. With such facilities, meals and services, I thought it was a great deal to have a total of about 80,000 yen for two people despite the Obon festival. This is a recommended inn.

GGuest UserIt has been almost 3 years that we have not visited Japan. Once Japan opened tourism, we packed our bags. We decided this trip will be a trip to enjoy some onsen (hot springs bath) and to see some fall foliage in colors. We picked Hakodate for onsen. This hotel offers in room open air bath tub on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view!! Our activities were focused on taking onsen and having great food at the hotel buffet restaurant. After a great onsen bath, we wore the clothing they provided to us to the restaurant, very layback and relaxing!! There were many families, old and very young at the hotel over the weekend. So we think families take short vacations here. Strongly recommend to add Hakodate and this hotel to be part of your tour in Japan !

GGuest User1 night 2 days, casual room B twin, non-smoking / shower (no indoor bath) / 26.8 square rice, dinner / breakfast buffet plan When you arrive at the hotel, there is a person at the entrance and the wide entrance will guide you. Put your car and put your luggage down Roll, stop the car in the parking space opposite yourself (be careful because it is difficult to understand the location of the car to stop) while waiting for check-in at the front desk, coffee maker in the lobby -But he asked me if I could, and at check-in, I decided the explanation while looking at the A4 paper for the guide in the hall and the time for dinner and breakfast (both morning and evening were two-part). Time, Breakfast was requested early, the key to the last room and toothbrush were given, amenities were placed next to the front desk and I carried my luggage to the room in a style that I had something like a tick, Of course there is no explanation about the room, the room is on the top floor of the 7th floor and the view is good, but it remains a little lower than other hotels, so be careful not to use the inside key because the key to the room is auto-locked. I shouldn't, the room is made to make it seem that the Japanese-style room has been renovated, and it is a little larger than the business hotel room, and it is enough for two people, and the toilet, wash basin, and shower are separate 々. It was good, Coffee, tea, water, etc. were placed, the refrigerator was empty, the drawer of the desk was broken, but there was nothing left, the cleaning was good and there was a feeling of cleanliness, but I arrived early so I went for a walk. Go, I went out with the room key, the person near the front desk talked to me if I was going out and received the key, I was grateful that it was just a busy time of check-in, When I bought a drink at a nearby convenience store and returned, I seemed to be busy with check-in, so when I was on the sofa at the fireplace, the same person talked to me and brought me the key. (It was saved because the front desk was crowded) I went back to the room and had some time to have dinner, so I went to the hot springs, it seems that men and women are changing at night and in the morning, there is a pot bath on one side, The washroom is separated independently and it feels a little narrow. The hot spring has a wide open feeling, but the indoor bath smelled of chlorine (maybe because of my feelings). Water, hass cup juice, and ice cream were placed free of charge at the bath, so I got ice cream (I was warned that there were a lot of people bringing back to the room). Dinner was late, but the food was insufficient There was no such thing as doing it, but there was a time limit of 90 minutes after entering. Sushi, steak, tempura, grilled food, sashimi, etc. were lined up (it seems that sashimi can be made into a seafood bowl). There are udon noodles and soba noodles, and the curry udon made from kake soba and curry udon was said to be curry from Gotoken, so I asked for it and ate it (it was delicious), and the craftsman held the sushi. There weren't many types, but it was delicious, the steak was small and cut, but it was soft and delicious, and the dessert was ice cream, cakes, fruits, etc. Ice cream made by myself in Thailand. I couldn't make it well, there were melons in the fruit, there weren't many kinds, but everything was delicious and there was a coffee machine at the exit of the dining hall where I could take it back to my room and drink it. Breakfast was early and there was a time limit of 60 minutes after entering in the morning, the standard breakfast was lined up, there were curry and ramen, the curry was seafood curry but it was delicious, I had salt ramen, but it was quite delicious and it was a good level to eat at the store. (Recommended) All the food I ate was delicious. The checkout ended at the door of the entrance. It was a little different from the previous hotels, such as hotel explanations and simplification of amenities, either it is close to a business hotel or there is no hotel that is not very large, so it can't be helped. I couldn't hear the sound of the next door and sometimes the sound of the plane passing nearby, I could use WiFi in the building, but the connection was not very good, there seems to be no cart to carry my luggage, so there are many luggage It can't change much for people. I recommend it to those who want to enjoy meals and hot springs.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a relatively newer hotel . There is a huge free open carpark behind the hotel. Check in was fast . Welcome drinks were served. The twin rooms are very comfortable with good temperature control and firm beds. Wifi was fast. There was a bathtub and a area to sit down and shower just like in the onsen area. Two bottles of water were provided. Dinner was good with snow crabs , sashimi like tuna , octopus , ikura etc . There was also a ramen section where you cook your own ramen . For desert , there was an assortment of cakes and ice cream . Onsens were new and relatively empty. The bathing area was adequately lit . The only drawback was that only one type of shampoo and conditioner was available . There was a long indoor onsen . Outdoor onsens had a long sort of infinity pool , another pool and two barrel tubs . The onsens were clean and new and quiet. There was also a resting area that looked out over the city at night . What would make the experience better would be perhaps popsicles could be offered for all to enjoy after the onsen. Breakfast was good . Overall a very comfortable and reasonably priced stay near an Aeon mall and fantastic soba restaurant

It is not a luxury inn, so unless your expectations for the service and atmosphere of the facilities are too high for the price, I think it is quite good overall, considering the consideration and comfort. The room on the third floor where I stayed was new and spacious enough for two people. It was also properly cleaned. The bath was not new, but it was also well maintained. The sparkling wine, coffee, and soft serve ice cream in the lounge were also nice services. For breakfast on the first day, I ordered a seafood bowl. This price and content was more than enough, and on the second day, the buffet, which had been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, seemed to have been revived, and we enjoyed a wide variety of delicious dishes! For better or worse, this inn is run with a homely feel. If you are looking for a warm but also guesthouse-like atmosphere, I don't think you will be dissatisfied. If you are looking for a luxury inn-like atmosphere and service, it's a different story. In that sense, we are satisfied. We will visit again. If there is one thing to improve, it would be if the men's and women's baths were switched every other day, so that both men and women could equally use the large open-air baths in the morning and evening. (I was happy to use the larger open-air bath both nights, but my husband could only use the larger one in the morning lol)

JJunghwanThe hotel is an hour away from Hakodate station. It is an old styled hotel but well kept. Their bath is superb and we enjoyed using it. The receptionists didn’t speak English and they had instructions in English instead. They don’t provide any water. You need to purchase them for 100yen each. I asked for Japanese room but they gave me beds instead. I had pleasant stay and would consider visiting again
