Guest UserLoved our stay at this accommodation. Great location, even if you don’t have your own transport like us. Laoshan beach and the entrance to Laoshan mountain are a 15 minute walk, or a 5 minute bus ride with the bus stop opposite the Moya. The Moya itself has easy access to a rocky shore, perfect for adults and children alike to explore, relax or take amazing sea view photos, as well as a small beach area. The small hotel grounds are very quaint, with a peaceful vibe. Our balcony had a picturesque sea view, with a mountain view behind the hotel. The accommodation is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly, approachable and helpful.

This was the third hot spring hotel I stayed at this winter, and it was also my favorite. Even before checking in, Manager Tang called to inquire and offered a free room upgrade. Because we have an elderly person in a wheelchair who has difficulty going to the hillside golf course, he arranged for shuttle service, which we were very grateful for! The food in the Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and tidy. They even served warm milk to help us sleep at night – a very thoughtful touch. The swimming pool inside the hot spring was our favorite feature, and the outdoor infinity pool even cured my cold – a truly unexpected delight. In short, I'm deeply moved by the hard work of all the staff and will definitely come back. Thank you!

The MulberriesOn this trip to Qingdao's Laoshan, I serendipitously booked 'Awaken in the Sea Cliff Homestay' and truly found a hidden gem! The entire property offers great privacy. The staff, mostly young men and women, are incredibly efficient and quick to assist with anything you need. This is arguably the most oceanside homestay in Laoshan; you can watch the entire sunrise over the sea right from your bed, and at night, you can hear the gentle sound of the waves – it's so therapeutic. The chef's pan-fried prawns are incredibly delicious and perfect with rice. While the coffee is a bit pricey, it tastes excellent. The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for just relaxing and gazing at the sea. The room rates aren't cheap, but the views and service are top-notch. It's definitely worth it for a family looking to relax. Highly recommend it to friends and family who enjoy a slow-paced life by the sea!

Cleanliness: The hygiene standards at this hotel-style guesthouse were exceptionally high.
Environment: Located right by the sea, the ocean views from our east-facing window were absolutely breathtaking, especially catching the sunrise – what a thrilling experience!
Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful. Before check-in, they called, we connected on WeChat, and they even set up a group chat with nine dedicated staff members who were always ready to help. The team was exceptionally attentive, always hustling and responding quickly to any requests or issues, much like caring family members.
Professional Photography: The photographer was wonderfully patient; they even waited half an hour for me while I finished my meal. I felt completely comfortable selecting my photos without any pressure. I ended up choosing five extra shots, simply out of appreciation for their patience. The photo editing was quick and high-quality, and they were very accommodating about discussing color tones to ensure I was happy.
Facilities: The room was fully equipped with everything I needed. The waste bins were conveniently and thoughtfully placed. I particularly appreciated their commitment to sustainability: they used eco-friendly and sustainable cotton towels, and all toiletries were biodegradable and earth-friendly 🌍.
Dining: The breakfast was nutritious and healthy, with perfectly sized portions – and you could always ask for more. Their coffee was also Instagram-worthy! We found their group dining package to be incredibly good value. Plus, if you couldn't finish your meal, the restaurant was happy to reheat it for you, which was a lovely touch and great for reducing waste.
Welcome Snacks: The small welcome snacks were a truly thoughtful gesture.
Thoughtful Gift Bag (Skincare): Even though I didn't personally use the complimentary gift bag containing makeup remover and skincare items, it was a very warm and considerate touch.

Guest UserThis is such a unique hotel!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to heal and relieve fatigue!! The room has a small water heater, which avoids the problem of unclean kettles!! There's a huge private hot spring bath!! The subtle herbal scent is so soothing!! The receptionist, Yifei, knew I was there to relax and asked what time I'd arrive and if I needed the hot spring broth prepared in advance. She also arranged for warm air conditioning and online registration, allowing me to enjoy my time alone without any contact – I really loved it!! I feel a very high chance I'll come back again!!

This hotel is nestled against the mountains, offering a very quiet stay, unlike other hotels and guesthouses in Yangkou that boast sea views. Its location is excellent for visitors planning to hike Yangkou; the cable car entrance is just a few minutes' walk away, and it's only about a 10-minute ride on the scenic tour bus to get to the main attractions. Staying here during public holidays can significantly cut down on queuing time. Although the hotel has been open for over 10 years, it's incredibly well-maintained and very clean. The rooms are spacious, and so are the bathrooms. For the May Day holiday, it was only about 100 RMB more than the usual price, which is very reasonable. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied! 👍

Posted on Aug 3, 2025|Zuowang 270° Panoramic Mountain-View Double Bed Room (270° Mountain View + Mini Bar)
Guest UserThis is one of my favorite B&Bs I've stayed at recently. The overall design and style are exquisite, and the amenities are high-quality. We chose a room with a 270-degree mountain view, surrounded on three sides by mountains and lush greenery, which really made us feel good. The room's name, ”Zuowang,” reflects the thoughtful design. For dinner, we chose the seafood hot pot, which is fresh and plentiful. Reservations are possible in advance, and the B&B's host is incredibly attentive. There's also a coffee shop nearby, so you can enjoy a morning Americano before a stroll. If you're looking for mountain hiking, you can drive to the scenic area, which is very close to the B&B. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable weekend trip to the mountains.

Guest UserThe hotel is located near Yangkou Beach. At the entrance of Yangkou Scenic Area, you can report to the mountain. The service is very good. We also suggested a few times to take the Huanhai Highway. We walked at 5:00 pm according to the housekeeper. We really saw the sunset on the sea and saw the sea on the left. On the right is the most beautiful road around the sea on the cliffs; thank you so much! The decoration of the hotel is also very design, tall decoration, brand toiletries, see the boss's intentions. A hotel full of design.

This place was incredibly good value for money. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Qingdao. It's incredibly clean and beautiful, and best of all, the price is reasonable. The breakfast was decent, and the hot springs, while not so great, were free. And they were incredibly clean and friendly.

Anonymous UserSo worth it! We escaped with the whole family to this hidden gem for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
It's tourist season in Qingdao again. If the city's hustle and bustle is for out-of-towners, then the Haiquanwan Resort by Aoshan Bay in Jimo is the perfect weekend getaway for locals.
This is a perfect leisure resort with ocean hot springs + a water park + accommodation, fulfilling all my vacation desires.
I loved every single one of the 60-plus hot spring pools, big and small. The most important thing is that there's a family-friendly entertainment area for kids to play in the water, and the water slides are super exciting – perfect for letting the little ones burn off some energy!
The service experience was fantastic throughout. Whether it was leading us to our room, looking after our belongings, or responding to any needs we had during our visit, staff member Xiao Xu was always prompt, gentle, and patient. She was enthusiastic and polite the entire time, never perfunctory – the service was meticulous and thoughtful.
All the rooms have independent outdoor balconies with unobstructed sea views, and there's a private hot spring tub in the room. Soaking in the tub while looking at the sea – this kind of happiness can probably only be enjoyed in Qingdao!
