AAnonymous UserThe last two kilometers of the road leading to the courtyard from the main road were quite rough, a narrow path only wide enough for one car, making it quite challenging. However, once we arrived at the courtyard, it felt like a delightful surprise, like finding a beautiful village beyond a willow-shaded lane. Each time we arrived, the warm and welcoming owner was already waiting in the parking area, proactively helping us with our luggage. This courtyard is run by a lovely family, and you can feel the warmth of their home everywhere. The owners treat guests like family, their children are lively and cute, and even their cat is friendly and interacts with guests. The courtyard only has four rooms, each equipped with a private hot spring tub. Inside, there's also underfloor heating, a heater, and an electric blanket. After a day of playing in the snowy mountains, being able to soak in the outdoor balcony tub, listening to the rain and admiring the greenery, was incredibly relaxing. Additionally, the food at the courtyard is also commendable; the home-style stir-fries were fragrant and unforgettable. The entire guesthouse experience was perfect.

YYougubaiheThe service was great, and the environment was lovely too. The gym, pool, and private hot spring in the room were all very good. The moment we checked in, our butler brought afternoon tea snacks to our room. Breakfast was also delivered to the room, and the butler was always responsive whenever we contacted her. The room facilities were excellent, clean, and tidy.
The only issue was the door between the guest rooms and the restaurant. Perhaps because housekeeping staff frequently used it, it was often left open. Guests attending wedding banquets in the restaurant would occasionally walk through, and if they saw an open room door, they'd want to peek inside. Once, my child ran out without closing the door, and just as I reached the entrance, a man saw our open door and tried to walk in – it startled me! This afternoon, I saw another group of banquet guests come through the back door. They saw the door to the room next to ours open, and those ladies also said they wanted to go in and look at the room. Why would they? If you want to book a room, there are pictures available on Ctrip and Dianping. It's really something else for people to just wander in and look at rooms while waiting for their meal. I suggest that door be kept closed at all times to keep the guest room area quieter, as the guest rooms are not a tourist attraction for banquet attendees to visit.
Everything else was great. The butler service was excellent and responsive, and the hygiene was also very good. It's definitely worth staying here!

GGuest UserOriginally, we planned to stop in Chengdu for a rest on the way back, but we didn't want to go into the city to find a hotel. So we carefully selected this hot spring homestay under the snow-capped mountains. After checking in, we found that it was really worth it. It was amazing. From the design of the homestay environment and room to the small welcome gifts, the quality was very high. Even the vase on the table was filled with fresh flowers. The hot spring is natural sulfur water with a faint smell of sulfur, which is very similar to the hot spring water in Tengchong, Yunnan. Moreover, it is a private bath with great privacy. I will definitely find an opportunity to bring my family here again in the future.

Environment: Perfect for a relaxing hot spring getaway. There are several small pools for soaking, nothing fancy, but they have all the essentials. The strong sulfur smell suggests it's natural hot spring water. The breakfast selection was also decent.
Service: The service attitude was excellent, the front desk lady even helped me with my luggage, thumbs up!

LLugegedeBefore I went, I checked out the hotel and still trusted the Howard Johnson brand. As soon as I drove in, a security guard guided me to parking. The front desk staff, Haly, was especially thoughtful and gave my child lollipops. They upgraded my room type to two connecting rooms. The service was excellent, and I'm definitely planning to come back soon. The travel photography service was also top-notch; they clearly understood what I wanted and upgraded the photo package. It's truly worth experiencing.

Exceptional Stay at Tiangong Heyuan Hotel Huashuiwan
I had a wonderful stay at Tiangong Heyuan Hotel Huashuiwan. The staff were outstanding—professional, warm, and always ready to help. Every evening, they thoughtfully sent delicious local snacks to the room, which made the experience feel extra special. Breakfast was good with generous portion, cook to order. We had dinners at their restaurant during our stay. Food is good, reasonably priced. They are simply impressive.
The team was extremely helpful with public transport guidance and could even assist in arranging transport when needed, making travel smooth and stress-free. The hot spring facilities were incredibly comfortable, with clear and friendly instructions provided for first-time visitors. We are touched by their staff’s courtesy and warmth.
The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the added AI support made the stay even more convenient. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I will definitely come back again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the heart of Huashuiwan, close to the late-night snack area, where I'd recommend Hong Taiyang BBQ. Unlike summer, some of the hot springs at the hotel are quite warm in winter, which is very pleasant.
I hope the hotel enforces its no-smoking policy in the hot springs. The hot spring area itself is lovely, but there's always the off-putting smell of smoke.
The hot spring facilities are complete, featuring both dry and wet saunas, but there's no 'kakeyu' (rinse station) for washing off after using them. This means whether you return to the hot springs with sweat after a sauna is entirely up to individual discretion. This isn't really a drawback, as most hot springs in China don't have such rinsing facilities.
If you're traveling solo and don't have a car, you can wait for the shuttle bus to go to Xueshan or back to Dayi County.

GGuest UserBefore I even checked in, they added me to a concierge chat group, and any questions I had were answered promptly and proactively.
My room was on the third floor, and while there's no elevator, the concierge staff helped me with my luggage. I chose the 270-degree mountain view, and falling asleep to the sound of the stream at night was incredibly relaxing (though it was a bit chilly, the electric blanket and air conditioning kept the room nice and warm).
We ordered the hot pot from the guesthouse for dinner, and it was delicious! The free-range chicken hot pot with mushroom soup was more than enough for two people.
There was also a concert in the evening, and the singer was fantastic!
There are two friendly dogs in the courtyard, a golden retriever and a small white dog, both very affectionate. There's also a super cute cat at the front desk.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely come back!

DDuxiaozuiyishuluohuaThe room was decent, quite spacious, and had a balcony with a mountain view. The hotel has been around for a while, so the decor and facilities are a bit dated, but it was clean and didn't have any strange odors. Dining was very convenient, and there's free parking, so overall it was good.
The hot springs were very accessible; you could go straight in from the second floor of the hotel. Various pools were nestled among the trees, which was nice, and there was also a glass walkway that kids enjoyed. The only downside was that the water in the channels was a bit cold when we went at night.
