The Hostel is very clean and Guadalupe is so helpful and charismatic while helping you with check in process 🙂, I had a great time in the snack bar and very good way to know more people from Mexico and other countries as well.

Casa MX Alameda is okay, just minutes from the subway station. You need to make your own bed, and you will be given a sheet that can be used for a mattress. Location is amazing! Old catholic cathedral just in front of it, 2 min to Maya museum, 1-2 min to stores, 30 sec to tour bus stop, 10 min to bar streets. Not bad breakfast, like a bonus - nice bar on rooftop. Friendly and helpful stuff. A room is not so clean, no outside windows, you can feel a lack of air a little, but there is a fan in a room. Hot water, locker. What else do you need for such price)) oh, there is a public kitchen, public coffee maker and fridge are available.

Check the photos...this place has expired. The reviews reflect an old hostel profile. This place is now a transit centre for migrants primarily from Cuba, Venezuela and China intending on crossing the U.S border illegally. It's bar and vending machines are abandoned and most light fittings are empty of bulbs. It is dark and filled with families packed into cramp rooms. Literally a boarding house now. The reviews do not reflect this ”new place”. Staff were fine as was cleanliness, but this place is not safe. I met a man in my room who has his wallet stolen...not surprising as 90% of guests are illegal migrants...

Stepping into this hotel, it makes me feel like I am immersed in the fireworks of the world, enjoying the pleasant experience beyond the accommodation itself, the hotel staff is warm, the rooms are spacious and bright, the beds are soft and comfortable, the price is really high
