Amazing
GGuest UserI really liked the shower with a bathtub, and the capsule hotel itself was in good condition. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service. I guess it might have been a unique situation. After checking in and going to my locker, there was a note saying I had an important message and to come to the counter. When I went, they told me someone was sleeping in my room? Excuse me? I was given room 106, but then they told me the guest from room 119 was sleeping in 106, and asked if I could just use room 119 instead? Room 106 was on the first floor, and 119 was on the second, and I was so tired from walking that I really didn't want to go up to the second floor. I initially asked if I could speak to the person who was supposedly sleeping there, using a translator. They said okay and went to check, but then there was no one in the room? But they said someone was sleeping there... There were signs of someone being there, like a charger, an overturned blanket, and other belongings. I asked them to contact me if they managed to talk to the person, but after a long wait, no one showed up. It was past 11 PM, and I just wanted to shower and sleep, so out of exhaustion, I said I'd just use room 119. After I showered, they brought the person from room 119! It was a foreigner, and all three of us were using different language translators to communicate, haha. They asked if I wanted to switch rooms then, but they weren't going to change the bedding again... I felt uneasy about it, so I just said I'd use room 119 and went to sleep. I really feel the initial handling of the situation was very disappointing. I still don't understand why someone was in a different room to begin with. Anyway, that's what happened, haha.

CcqwzljrI really like this place. It’s my first time to travel to Japan alone. I stayed in Osaka the night before, and I stayed here when I came to Kyoto. I saw it recommended by others before, even though my Japanese is very poor. Fortunately, I can communicate in English. The lady who checked me in was very patient and took me inside to explain the area to me. When I checked out in the morning, my uncle was very enthusiastic and even called the dog out. I was actually completely I booked this hotel because I was attracted by dogs... I was so pleasantly surprised, and then I successfully took a photo with the dog! (It was resting when I came the night before. It had its own name, but I forgot it😂) I really like it, and there is a path nearby where you can walk to Kiyomizudera Temple. There are few people at night and the scenery is beautiful. It is really a special time. An unforgettable and wonderful experience! Thank you to everyone I met!

GGuest UserKyoto was the main stop on this trip, so I had high expectations for this hotel in Omiya. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto's most prosperous Shijo shopping street, which isn't too close, but still very convenient. There are bus stops and subway stations nearby, so getting around is still very convenient. However, if you want to avoid walking, it's best to book a room in Shijo. There's free housekeeping once every three nights, but we didn't tell the front desk before 8 p.m. one night in advance, so we didn't use it. The toothbrush was very difficult to use, much worse than the hotel in Nagoya.

MMelany JiangThe room was very clean. The Japanese-style single room facing the street was quite noisy, so on the second day, I paid the difference to switch to a family room, which was very quiet. Across from the hotel is a large supermarket, which makes shopping very convenient. The room comes with a kitchen, and there are pots, pans, and dishes available, so you can cook your own meals. If there are two or more people, I recommend choosing the family room. If you're traveling alone, I suggest not staying at this hotel, as the Japanese-style single room faces the street and the traffic at night is really loud.

永露江未子The room is clean, large and reasonable. It is very close to the station. There was also a coin laundry. There was a large refrigerator and a microwave. The room was large, so it was relaxing and very comfortable. I would like to use it again.

GGuest UserThis is the worst accommodation experience I’ve had during my trips to Japan. In the past, my visits to Japan have always been perfect—truly a paradise for travelers from around the world. However, lately, I’ve noticed a surge of Indian people in places like convenience stores and hotel front desks, which has led to some negative experiences for me along the way. I usually brushed them off as minor, but this hotel stay was unacceptable and I have to speak up. At check-in, the Indian front desk staff was indifferent and dismissive, which already set a bad tone. Then, when I went to bed around midnight, I discovered that the room only had two flat bedsheets—no duvet cover (comforter cover) and no pillowcases at all. It was very late, so I didn’t want to disturb anyone by calling reception again, and I ended up sleeping uncomfortably without proper bedding—yet another hassle caused by the Indian staff. If the hotel management sees this review, please seriously reconsider hiring Indian staff. They are ruining Japan’s reputation and its world-famous service industry! I hope this feedback helps improve things for future guests.

LLeben.WanThe hotel's facilities are quite good, though the only minor drawback might be the poor soundproofing. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, offering convenient access to major attractions in Kyoto. The subway station is about a 20-minute walk away. As for the amenities, the hotel is well-equipped with individual shower rooms and toilets on each floor. The washing machine and lounge area are located on the fifth floor. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator. If you have large luggage, you can inform the front desk to arrange a room on a lower floor.

GGuest UserMy mother and I had a very comfy stay at this traditional Kyoto home in a residential area (FYI, the private rooms are on the upper floor. The staircase will be very treacherous.) The team was great and explained everything in detail. I appreciated that they took my mother's suitcase up as I followed behind. I liked the local neighborhood feeling compared to the buzzy central area, but you will need to take a bus from across the street to get anywhere before hopping on any train. Btw there was no shortage of places to eat in the neighborhood. (The 93 bus is convenient from the hostel because it will drop you off at the entrance of the Arashiyama bamboo grove.) I would stay at this location again.
