GGuest UserI really liked the shower with a bathtub, and the capsule hotel itself was in good condition. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service.
I guess it might have been a unique situation. After checking in and going to my locker, there was a note saying I had an important message and to come to the counter. When I went, they told me someone was sleeping in my room? Excuse me?
I was given room 106, but then they told me the guest from room 119 was sleeping in 106, and asked if I could just use room 119 instead? Room 106 was on the first floor, and 119 was on the second, and I was so tired from walking that I really didn't want to go up to the second floor. I initially asked if I could speak to the person who was supposedly sleeping there, using a translator. They said okay and went to check, but then there was no one in the room? But they said someone was sleeping there... There were signs of someone being there, like a charger, an overturned blanket, and other belongings.
I asked them to contact me if they managed to talk to the person, but after a long wait, no one showed up. It was past 11 PM, and I just wanted to shower and sleep, so out of exhaustion, I said I'd just use room 119. After I showered, they brought the person from room 119! It was a foreigner, and all three of us were using different language translators to communicate, haha. They asked if I wanted to switch rooms then, but they weren't going to change the bedding again... I felt uneasy about it, so I just said I'd use room 119 and went to sleep.
I really feel the initial handling of the situation was very disappointing. I still don't understand why someone was in a different room to begin with. Anyway, that's what happened, haha.

GGuest UserThe free breakfast is awesome. I went there for the breakfast and the dog, rather than the facilities and location. There are foreign staff, so you can check in comfortably in English. It is very close to Heian Shrine and the museum, and the neighborhood itself is pretty. I left my luggage next to the counter the next morning and went to Heian Shrine - took the bus, Jishoji - Philosopher's Path - Nanzenji - picked up my luggage at the accommodation and went to the next schedule. Since it is a guesthouse, noise and perfect cleanliness are inevitable, so I recommend it to those who are looking for cost-effectiveness.

GGuest UserExtremely clean, both the beds and the bathroom areas were spotless. The facilities are new. It's an all-female dormitory, so it's relatively quiet; no one comes and goes late at night. The environment is very elegant, and there's a reading area and a pantry on the second floor, perfect for sitting down with a book and a coffee. The price is absolutely perfect. It's about a six to seven-minute walk from the subway.

KKyoto GodFUGA STAY, true to the meaning of its name “fuga” (elegance and serenity), is a refined and peaceful hideaway tucked within the heart of Kyoto.
I personally love hotels that are hidden away from the main road yet still extremely convenient—just a 3 to 5-minute walk from Omiya Subway Station and numerous Kyoto city bus stops.
If you’re into cycling or using e-scooters, there’s a Luup rental station right in front of the hotel.
The room is spacious and very comfortable for a solo traveler. It comes with two double beds that you can easily move together to form a super king-size bed. The bathroom is also large, with no sense of tightness.
The front desk staff speaks Japanese and Chinese, so communication is smooth and easy.
Honestly, I’m hesitant to praise FUGA too much—if too many people discover it, the price might go up!
P.S. Just around the corner is Tendō Shrine, only a 2-minute walk away. It felt like a beautiful encounter by fate.
FUGA STAYは、その名の通り「風雅」で、賑やかな場所の中にありながらも静かで、控えめで上品な空間です。
大通りに面していないホテルが好きな私にとって、ここは理想的な立地です。徒歩3〜5分で大宮駅や京都市内の多数のバス停にアクセスできます。
自転車や電動キックボードが好きな方には、目の前にLuupのステーションがあってとても便利です。
部屋は広く、一人で泊まってもとても快適です。ダブルベッドが2台あり、自分で簡単に動かして、特大キングサイズベッドのように使うことができます。トイレも広々としていて、窮屈さは感じません。
フロントでは日本語と中国語（漢語）が通じるので、安心して滞在できます。
正直、あまり褒めすぎたくないです…人気が出て値上がりしそうで（笑）
P.S. すぐ近くの路地に「天道神社」があり、徒歩2分ほどです。素敵なご縁を感じました。
FUGA STAY，如同其名字「風雅」一般，是一處鬧中取靜、低調而優雅的住宿空間。
我特別喜歡這種不在主幹道上、卻又交通便利的飯店——步行3到5分鐘即可抵達地鐵大宮站與眾多京都市巴士站點。
如果你喜歡騎單車或滑板車，門口就有Luup的租借點，非常方便。
房間空間寬敞，一個人住起來非常舒適，因為配置了兩張雙人床（可以輕鬆地自行移動，變成超級大king size）；廁所空間也很大，毫無壓迫感。
前台服務人員通曉日語與漢語，溝通無障礙。
說真的，我不太想過度讚美FUGA，因為怕太多人知道之後價格會上漲（笑）
P.S. 小巷轉角就有一間「天道神社」，走路約2分鐘，非常有緣。

GGuest UserFriendly service, attendant helped us figure out how to use the stove, nice large room with solid space to put luggage. Decently spacious bathroom. Would be nice if they provided more utensils in the room 1 pair of chopsticks and a single fork is a little limiting. The Japanese beds can be easily folded up to give a serious amount of floor space. Located 50m away from a bus stop is pretty sweet and also directly across the road is a massive grocery/pharmacy store, very much able ro save some money and cook your own meals if need be on top avoiding the konbini prices. Also 100m from a 7/11 so easy access to an atm. Really great deal, we ended up cooking a wicked yakiniku in the room for bargain end of day closing prices on the meat ( photo attached

There was also a coin laundry. There was a large refrigerator and a microwave.
The room was large, so it was relaxing and very comfortable.

Bbill (citizen of asia)So its very near the temples and attractions so thats nice. Also away from the kyoto station so consider that if youre also into that. The hostel allowed me to leave my bag before and after checkout so thats perfect. It is also clean and well maintained, though toilet locks can be a bit tricky. They also have a cafe below, then a place to hangout with people and strangers. Have small kitchen with everything in it. They dont have free rental towel so heres that but its fine. Overall i will recommend this to my friends.

I wouldn't call it friendly though, but that's ok. You get a lot of instructions you have to follow. After your check-out at 10:00 am, you're not allowed to use the lavatory anymore.
The room was really cold.
But the bed was comfortable, privacy was given.

GGuest UserThe place has an excelente location, easy to get there. The room was cleaned and organized. However, there is no person at the front desk to ask questions or ask for help. The code for entering to the room was sent by SMS, but since we were traveling the service for SMS of our phone company does not work outside our country, so we did not receive the message since we were traveling. They do not have an e-mail address, so the check in instructions could not be send there. When we arrived to the place was late and we found the front desk empty even though we still arrived in the front desk service hours. We had a hard time contacting the hotel but luckily could get some help in calling the administration to get our room number and the code.
