I went skiing in Daming Mountain a few years ago and stayed with my family and children for one night. Coming down the mountain from Daming Mountain, it was almost dark. The boss warmed up the fireplace early, and it was very warm as soon as he entered the door! That time was a non-weekend, just our family booked the room, the proprietress made a good dish, the boss accompanied us to chat after dinner, the family liked it very much.
This time the children chose to travel on the wrong peak during the spring break. They were wearing it for two days in Huihang. They went down the mountain and chose the mountain walker to stay for another night. It is a coincidence that the big army has not arrived yet, and tonight is our family again. The boss and the proprietress are still very enthusiastic. It is hot outside after three o'clock in the mountain. The boss has turned on the cold air conditioner and cooked fruit tea for us. As soon as I entered the door, I felt cool. This meticulous service made people feel very comfortable. The fatigue of Huihang disappeared in two days and there was a feeling of going home!
Drinking tea, chatting, you can temporarily put everything aside and slow down! The children will come next time! look forward to!

Located in Baiguo Village next to Daming Mountain Scenic Spot, the homestay is more interesting than the scenic spot. The overall decoration of the homestay is very good, and the materials are exquisite. The room has a bathtub with plenty of hot water. There are inner lakes, courtyards and grasslands. I didn't spend much time choosing, but the actual homestay exceeded expectations, high score recommendation!
Our purpose is clear, that is to go skiing in Daming Mountain, the location of the homestay is very good, there is a small road directly to the visitor center, 5 minutes walk, super close.
The boss is enthusiastic and the boss is diligent, the needs of the guests are basically met, the public areas and rooms are very clean and refreshing, the comfort of the bedding is also good, and the living experience is very good.
There are also some âvalue-added servicesâ that make people feel happy: tea in the stove, freshly ground coffee, outdoor fireworks, and a sense of temperature.
Unfortunately: the hydrangea and roses in the winter yard are dormant, and I don't see the âmantingfangâ in summer.

I was surprised when I went there for the first time. There are treasures hidden deep in the mountain roads. Itâs easy to find a B&B. The environment is great and the mood is very artistic in the morning and evening. The farm food is delicious and the breakfast is attentive. It is very suitable for group travel and family booking. Especially the proprietress is very kind and enthusiastic. Thoughtful, I will come again for vacation when I have the opportunity.

The boss is very warm, the service is super thoughtful, the room is very clean, the food is also very delicious, from Daming Mountain, 20 minutes drive, the next day to the opposite Longjing Gorge rafting, really convenient, walk for a few minutes, the boss also told us other places to play in the water, really nice. Next year, I will stay here at Longjing Gorge rafting.

The destination is Wind Valley. We found the most satisfactory homestay around. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening. The housekeeper greeted us warmly at the door, guided us to the parking space, made tea, and enthusiastically introduced the fun places around. The hotel is located at the foot of a large mountain. There are lawns and canopies at the foot of the mountain. The lighting a**osphere is particularly good at night. The gurgling stream is very healing in the deep nature. The frog calls can be heard clearly at night. The room layout is very special. The children like it very much. The starry sky room is booked. When you look up, there is an automatic skylight. It is so romantic. A bowl of handmade noodles full of vitality in the morning starts a beautiful new day. The aunt and the service staff are very good. I will come again next time!

GGuest UserI found this newly opened Mercure when I was planning my trip to Hangzhou. When I checked in, the staff was very friendly. The hotel is in a great location, and it is very convenient to go to Hangzhou East Station and West Lake Scenic Area. The room is clean and tidy, and the corridor is very quiet. There are free soft drinks in the small refrigerator. The toiletries are also refreshing and healing. Overall, it is a hotel with a very high cost performance. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Hangzhou~

GGuest UserLovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though itâs not a known brand.
I would say some things for improvement are as follows:
Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spaâs and theyâre at roughly the same price point. This wasnât a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here.
Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left!
Restaurant â Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated.
The âSavoir resortâ is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name æć·æè§ â è„żæșȘćșŠćé
ćș. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better).
The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on
æșçš ïŒCtripïŒ or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 â 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better.
The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I donât think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels.

AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husbandâs birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget.
Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didnât expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment.
The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didnât use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious!
Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration!
After all, I was really happy with my hotelâs choice.
To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel:
1. Attentive and caring service
2. Nature and beautiful surroundings
3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages.
4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation
5. Amazing tea
Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.
