Copywriting: Parking is very convenient, park the car and go to the West Lake to play, it is very convenient to relax. The coffee shop opposite is very pure, very happy is that the opposite side bought the lottery ticket and won the prize. The homestay is okay, the decoration is new and clean, more than 400 Haiyou downstairs stayed for two days without windows, it was very depressed, the last day I opened the mobile phone to find this upstairs, more than 300 seemed affordable, Hangzhou consumption is a bit high, maybe look at the location environment, the bed is very comfortable, thank you.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. I feel very good. The hotel is clean and atmospheric, and the room service staff are warm and thoughtful. The surrounding transportation is also relatively convenient, not far from the subway. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Laping.

Just in the building next to the Zhejiang Shangkaiyuan Hotel, it is very convenient to have a meeting here. You can have a meeting when you go downstairs. The room is also very large, the family room is also comfortable, very convenient around, there are shopping malls and subways, just fine.

Guide for Travelling in Hangzhou

Introduction to Hangzhou

Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province in Eastern China, is famed for its historic relics and natural beauty. Often described as "heaven on earth," Hangzhou's stunning landscapes, particularly the West Lake area, have inspired poets and painters throughout China's history. The city's blend of traditional heritage and modern innovation makes it an exciting and unique travel destination.

Tips for Travelling to Hangzhou

Hangzhou is well-connected by Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, which services both domestic and international flights. High-speed trains also link Hangzhou with other major cities like Shanghai and Beijing. Public transportation, including buses, taxis, and a subway system, makes getting around the city convenient.

The official currency is the Chinese Yuan (CNY), and Chinese Mandarin is the main language. While English is not widely spoken, you'll usually find English-speaking staff at hotels and major tourist sites.

Visa requirements vary based on your nationality, so always check visa policies before your trip. Many countries are eligible for visa-free transit of up to 144 hours when visiting certain regions in China, including Hangzhou.

Popular Attractions in Hangzhou

No visit to Hangzhou is complete without spending time at the UNESCO World Heritage site, the West Lake, with its stunning temples, pagodas, and gardens. Take a boat ride to soak in the lake's serene beauty.

Explore the historical and cultural wealth of the city at the Hangzhou Silk Museum and National Tea Museum. Visit the ancient Lingyin Temple, and step into a traditional Chinese village at the Hefang Street Market, where you can sample local snacks and buy handicrafts.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Hangzhou experiences a subtropical monsoon climate. Spring (April-June) and Autumn (September-November) are the best times to visit, with pleasant temperatures and less rainfall. Summer can be hot and humid, while winter is generally cold. Depending on the season, pack comfortable clothing and don't forget good walking shoes to explore the city's many attractions.
