Nostalgia S Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake )

A truly satisfying stay! For those tired of the crowded environment around Longxiang Bridge and looking to experience West Lake like a local, this hotel is an excellent choice. I booked this hotel, which is very close to Quyuan Garden (Curved Yard and Lotus Pools in Summer), specifically to photograph the 'Golden Light Piercing the Cave' phenomenon. The hotel's environment, cleanliness, and facilities were all impeccable. Everything in the room, including the food in the minibar, was complimentary, and the electric heated towel rack was a fantastic touch. This wonderful stay brought me good luck, as I successfully captured the 'Golden Light Piercing the Cave' as I had hoped. After returning to the hotel for a nap, I was even able to get a complimentary late check-out until 2 PM. I'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending it to my friends!

The room is spacious and clean. Facilities: Great for families visiting West Lake and the surrounding areas. Service: Good service, with complimentary drinks. It's also close to many nearby attractions.

The hotel's location is quite distinct; it's only a few hundred meters from Yue Fei Temple, but getting to the city center can be a bit of a hassle. The hotel staff, especially at the front desk, are very responsible and friendly.

This was my first trip with my elderly parents, and the hotel experience was fantastic! The hotel is located right by West Lake, behind Yuewang Temple, and across from the May 4th Constitution Museum... The environment is peaceful and quiet, and it's very convenient for getting around. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful! Both the young men and women were so enthusiastic and attentive! They even upgraded our room for free, which made it easier to look after my parents nearby, and they helped carry our luggage up and down the stairs. Bottled water and other amenities were plentiful! Excellent value for money!

This hotel is absolutely excellent! The service deserves full marks, and the decor is modern, cozy, and exquisite, with great attention to detail. The smart toilet was a big plus, and they even provide facial towels! The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful without being overly enthusiastic, which was a relief, and they offered complimentary bottled water to take with us. The location is superb, close to West Lake, Yue Fei Temple, and the Wusi Constitution Exhibition Hall. And the price is very reasonable too. Highly recommended!

I stayed in a superior king room with a window overlooking a rock face. Overall, it was flawless, from the facilities to the service. Every staff member, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or housekeepers, was incredibly friendly and communicated efficiently. As for amenities, besides the smart home system, there's also a laundry room on the first floor with washers and dryers, which is very convenient for longer stays. The breakfast buffet was decent; although the variety wasn't huge, it had essentials like eggs, yogurt, and fruit. The steamed dumplings and chicken soup wontons were handmade by the chef who started work at 4 AM, which shows great dedication. I stayed for a week and even extended my stay. This chain hotel offers a five-star experience at an incredible price, better than any five-star hotel I've stayed in before! The location is also excellent. There's even a terrace outside the third-floor restaurant. My only minor complaint is that the road leading to the hotel is quite rough on luggage wheels. I hope they can take measures to make it more convenient for guests arriving and departing.

Location: Tucked away in a quiet spot, it's super convenient for visiting West Lake and going hiking. There's a bus stop just a few minutes' walk away. Amenities: The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and there's a dryer/drying rack. Toiletries are well-stocked. There's a kids' area and a gym. Coffee and tea are available all day. Service: The staff are friendly and welcoming. Both the front desk and the housekeeping aunties are enthusiastic and happy to help. Breakfast: The variety isn't huge, but it's clean, fresh, and not skimpy. The cold side dishes change daily, and I really enjoyed the freshly made waffles. I ate them for three days straight and didn't get tired of them. Minor Drawbacks (not really cons, just a heads-up for those who might mind): Being close to the mountain, it can feel a bit enclosed. In our family room, there were four outdoor air conditioner units outside the window, which were a bit noisy but within an acceptable range. The mountain-view rooms might face street-facing rooms, which could be a bit loud. I've stayed at this brand's Tianjin location before, and this is my second time. Overall, I'm very satisfied. It's small but excellent, and the management clearly puts a lot of effort in. I'll definitely check out their new locations. Highly recommended.
