GGuest UserEvery staff member, from the front desk to room service, was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. I was a bit worried it might be cold, but once I got to the room, I found both underfloor heating and central air conditioning. The two ladies who cleaned our room were meticulous and efficient. Best of all, it's super pet-friendly with no extra charges! I especially loved the room design; the large bathroom was perfect for leaving my cat there briefly when I went out, preventing any damage to the room's facilities.

GGuest UserI am very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The facilities are complete and comfortable. The room is thoughtfully equipped with sticky notes and pens. The bed is comfortable. The room is very spacious. The buffet breakfast has a variety of varieties. You can come and experience it.

GGuest UserThe facilities are quite new and very clean, the environment is excellent, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich. There's a lovely rooftop terrace with a great vibe. The service is fantastic, they offer complimentary fruit, and even a Hanfu experience. The room also had a copy of ”Qian's Family Instructions,” which is a thoughtful touch. Thumbs up!👍

GGuest UserThe landscaping at this JW Marriott is quite beautiful. However, the room facilities are a bit dated. The shower had mold and old water stains, and water easily leaked out onto the floor. Service experience was inconsistent: during check-in, the front desk staff barely made eye contact and didn't offer information about kids' activities or inquire about children's amenities, even though I was traveling with a child. The auntie at the noodle station during breakfast was also rather indifferent. On the positive side, housekeeping was excellent; they proactively brought bath salts and bath bags after check-in and asked if I needed anything else. Other hotel staff members were also very friendly and helpful. A major downside was the abundance of mosquitoes in the summer; many flew in as soon as the balcony door was opened. The room's air conditioning couldn't be adjusted lower, so it was too hot to sleep with a blanket, but without one, I ended up with many mosquito bites on my legs. The complimentary Hanfu photoshoot experience was a highlight – the makeup artist was patient, and I was very happy with the final photos, which added a lot to the overall trip.

VVirtualMeThe hotel is visually stunning, tastefully decorated with authentic elements of local culture and great attention to detail in both style and functionality.
The establishment shows a surprising amount of facilities that span from a quality swimming pool and gym to lounge bars, restaurants, a garden with orchard and stables, shops, event areas with proper separation that makes it lively yet never noisy or chaotic. It is rare to find a hotel that is suitable for both couples and families but Shangri-la did it perfectly.
Cleanliness and customer service are as you would expect from a hotel of this category.
Breakfast although pricey compared to other options in the area was mostly worth the dime and never excessively crowded.
Special mention to the lounge bar that beats every local option on every level, surprisingly including prices. We went bar hopping after the lounge bar and we're shocked to find that local bars were charging twice or three times as much for much lower quality drinks and environment compared to ShangriLa.

MMalidaThe room was very satisfactory! Especially for breakfast, we could eat sweet potatoes from Sishui, which were really delicious. They were the best sweet potatoes I have ever eaten in my life, sweet and sticky.
In the evening, the hotel not only provided fruits, but also provided some longan and white fungus health porridge. Although I was afraid of getting fat, I couldn't resist the temptation and ate it.

AAnonymous UserHighly recommend! First off, the location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around; it's just 100 meters from the main entrance of the Confucius Temple. Second, the hotel is new and completely odor-free, having just opened in 2025, and building A has an elevator. Third, the breakfast selection is fantastic with great quality, including milk, soy milk, and even boiled fish slices. Finally, the service is incredibly warm and attentive, and they offer luggage storage. Definitely a great place to stay!

GGuest UserCheck-in was incredibly swift, taking less than three minutes. The room had been pre-ventilated, so the air was wonderfully fresh and felt immediately comfortable upon entry. They noticed we had quite a few belongings and thoughtfully provided extra hangers and bags. These small, thoughtful touches, anticipating guests' needs, truly elevated what would have been a simple stay into a wonderfully comfortable experience. A special shout-out to Jessie, the Front Desk Manager, for her exceptional service. Our overall stay was truly excellent.

Dd_n_aThe main reason for our stay in Qufu was, of course, Confucius, and this hotel has a good location: we could easily walk to the Temple, envy as in with the mansion, then ride a horse pulled cart to the cemetery. Contract fulfilled. The sport place, across the street had fun night activities, and there were a lot of eateries, cheap and delicious, on the block
The hotel itself shows its age with some deferred maintenance, such as a rusted parts in the bathroom, a sub-optimal laundry room, and some lacking service: for example, the tea and coffee bags in the room, an Atour highlight, were not replenished, and we were not offered water upon departure.
Great breakfast, as always.
